Perfumery Compounds (Fragrance Oil) - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities

The word perfume used today derives from the Latin per fumum, meaning through smoke. Perfumery, or the art of making perfumes, began in ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt and was further refined by the Romans and Persians. Originally all the products used in perfumery were of natural origin. The finest modern perfumes are neither wholly synthetic nor yet completely natural. The demand is increasing day by day due to increase in the standard of living. The demand will further increase as there is good export potential as well local consumption. Perfumes occupy an important place in modern life style. Apart from cosmetic and toiletry products perfumes are used in many products to mask odor and improve appeal. Perfumes available to end user are formulations containing a number of components (normally 10 to 15). A successful perfume must also exhibit a pleasing effect on the skin. Users of personal perfumes sometimes spray their clothes, but the most important test of a perfume is its character as it evaporates off the skin over a period of several hours. A challenge for perfume marketing is that every individual has a different skin chemistry, which changes the quality of the perfume on each person. Uses Fragrance companies are frequently required to reduce or eliminate unpleasant odors. Intrinsically unpleasant molecules cause some malodors. Others arise from the products of organic decay. A common characteristic of many offensive smells is the presence of sulfur, nitrogen, or halogens. Perfumes are used in Agarbatti (Incense Sticks) industries to make perfumed Agarbattis. It is also used in skin care products such as in Healing Cream, Face Wash, Moisturizing dry cream, Eye Gel, After Shave Lotion. It is used in Hair oil too and also as in Specialized Herbal Gels and Lotions. Also used as Perfumery compounds as Herbal Supplements like Apple Cider Vinegar, Apricot Kernel Capsules, Digest Capsules, Detox Capsules, Tri Mushroom Blend Capsules etc. Perfumes are used in Air Freshners, Candles, dish and laundry detergents, soaps, shampoos, Bath gels, synthetic resins and adhesives, pharmaceuticals. It is customary for a successful fragrance to spawn line extensions, traditionally cosmetics and personal care. With increasing frequency, fine fragrances have inspired environmental, household, and even institutional fragrances. Market Survey Companies in this industry manufacture mens and womens perfumes and fragrances. Perfume is a mixture of fragrant essential oils and aroma compounds, fixatives and solvents used to give the human body a pleasant scent. More than 3 000 individual chemicals are utilized in flavor and fragrance (f&f) compositions worldwide. Only a few hundred chemicals are used in quantities above 50 t/y. Synthetic organic chemicals constitute more than 80 90 % (by weight and value) of the raw materials used. Asia has been a profitable market for flavors and fragrances since many years. Consumer tastes and preferences vary from country to country, resulting in a fragmented consumer base for flavors and fragrances. Market growth for ingredients is being driven by several influential factors. The demand for high end perfumes continues to drive the fragrance ingredients market. The demand for ingredients used in the flavours and fragrances market on a whole will continue to be driven by consumer preferences for natural ingredients and rising consumer interest in more complex and authentic flavours and fragrances. This industry has never ending scope and entrepreneur dealing with Perfume industry will have immense credit. Few Indian Major Players are as under: Avon Beauty Products India Pvt. Ltd. Milk is the normal product of mammary gland secretion. Milk is a complex, nutritious product that contains more than 100 substances that are either in solution, suspension or emulsion in water. The fat and fat soluble vitamins in the milk are in the form of an emulsion; that is, a suspension of small liquid globules that do not mix with the water in milk; Lactose (milk sugar), some proteins (whey protien), mineral salts and other substances are soluble; that is, they are entirely dissolved in the water in milk. Extremes of temperature, acidity (pH) or contamination by microorganisms can rapidly decrease its quality. Milk is a highly perishable product that should be cooled to about 40 degree Celsius as soon as possible after collection. Extremes of temperature, acidity (pH) or contamination by microorganisms can rapidly decrease its quality. Many population groups in Asia and Africa cannot or can hardly consume milk because of so called lactose intolerance. Dairy products in which a proportion of the milk sugar is converted during production, such as cheese, curd, yoghurt and sour milk or buttermilk, do not cause many problems in this respect. Uses & Applications of Milk Milk is used as a complete food for infant. It is used to prepare curd, butter, ghee, cream and ice cream etc, Milk is used in all homes & also used in hotels and restaurants as milk food preparation and in the preparation of tea. New uses of milk are: it makes frozen fish tastes fresh, tarnished silverware will look new if sour milk is polished on it. It softens skin too, and cleans patent leather. It can remove ink stains from clothes too. It is also furniture Cleaner and polisher. Market Survey Dairying has become an important secondary source of income for millions of rural families and has assumed the most important role in providing employment and income generating opportunities. Government of India is making efforts to increase the productivity of milch animals and thus increase the per capita availability of milk. Most of the milk is produced by small, marginal farmers and landless laborers. About 14.46 million farmers have been brought under the ambit of 1, 44,168 village level dairy corporative societies. It is the Apex organization of the Dairy Cooperatives of Gujarat, popularly known as AMUL, which aims to provide remunerative returns to the farmers and also serve the interest of consumers by providing quality products which are good value for money. India exports specialty products such as casein for food processing or pharmaceuticals. The Indian dairy sector is also different from other dairy producing countries as India places its emphasis on both cattle and buffalo milk. Some of the major destinations of Indian dairy products are Bangladesh, UAE, US, and Philippines. Indigenous milk products and desserts are becoming popular with the ethnic population spread all over the world. Therefore, the export demand for these has gone up tremendously, thus providing great potential for export. Today, India is the worlds largest milk producer, accounting for more than 13% of the worlds total milk production. Therefore, it is an appropriate and cost effective place for manufacture of dairy products like ghee, cheese, curd, butter, etc. import restrictions on dairy products also promote Indian producers in this sector. Natural Glycerine - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue

Glycerine (sometimes called ‘‘glycerin’’) is the name of the commercial product consisting of glycerol and a small amount of water. . At low temperatures, glycerine tends to supercool, rather than crystallize. Water solutions of glycerine resist freezing, a property responsible for glycerine's use as permanent antifreeze in cooling, systems. Among its most valuable attributes are hygroscopicity, or the ability to absorb moisture from the atmosphere, and low vapor pressure, a combination that produces outstanding permanent humectancy and plasticity. A prominent source of glycerine is from the sweetwaters of fat splitting. Applications in which glycerine's versatility as a chemical is exploited account for approximately half of the glycerine consumed by industry. The most important industrial class of derivatives is esters, which are formed by reacting glycerine with acids, usually at high temperatures. Among these are alkyd resins of long chain fatty acids. Uses and Applications Glycerine is a very good solvent for organic and inorganic substances e.g. phenols, borates, etc. Its strong hydrogen bonding properties have been suggested as an explanation for its very good solvent activity. Glycerine's chief role in a glue composition is that it acts as a plasticizer. Glycerine is used too in vegetable adhesives for labeling or as office pastes. In starch pastes, it is added as a plasticizer to give a more flexible bond, and should be incorporated as glycerite of starch. Glycerine is widely used in dextrin adhesives which are employed for bottle labeling, gumming envelope flaps and labels, book binding and carton sealing. . After the green plants are cut or picked, glycerine will help retain the bright appearance of decorative leaves or foliage. Market Survey As stated by the new market research report on Glycerin, Asia Pacific constitutes the largest regional market. Increased applications of glycerin in various sectors such as pharmaceuticals, personal care and food & beverages, coupled with lower import duties in the Chinese market is expected to boost demand for glycerin in the Asia Pacific region. Latin America is projected to register the fastest compounded annual growth rate of 6.75% over the analysis period. Worldwide consumption of refined glycerin is forecast to grow healthily in the coming few years. Global value demand for natural glycerine will grow 9.8% annually from the current manufacturing value of $7.7 billion in 2011 to $13.5 billion through 2017. A syringe is a simple piston pump consisting of a plunger that fits tightly in a tube. The disposable plastic syringe has become an important part of the medical scene since its introduction in the late 1950's. It is an instrument which is used for injecting any liquid into the body of human beings or of animals. These syringes are used for injecting the medicine into the body or into the nerve of the body which are not possible to take in through mouth or takes much time in mixing with blood. Disposable syringes are mostly injection moulded from polypropylene. Plastic syringes are becoming more popular in the medical world due to its lower cost and higher accuracy. Uses & Applications Disposable syringes commonly are used in modern medicine for the injection of drugs and vaccines or for the extraction of blood. Among the common uses of disposable syringes are the injecting of insulin by a diabetic person and the administering of a local anesthesia by a dentist. Disposable syringes also are used to inject anesthetics for medical procedures. The syringes used by dentists to administer local anesthesia before drilling or pulling teeth are a common example. Disposable syringes sometimes are used for drawing blood samples. They also are used when blood is being drawn from a vessel very close to the skin, such as those in the wrists and hands. Market Survey Needles and syringes are amongst the most extensively used medical disposables. Healthcare professionals represent the largest end use market for syringes, followed by diabetics. A substantial rise in the number of drug addicts has also contributed to the enhanced demand for syringes across the world. Rising life expectancies and growing proportion of the elderly have led to increased demand for healthcare services, and greater need for drugs to be injected. Additionally, a number of newly introduced drugs including DNA based drugs are not available in the form of pills and must be administered intravenously, thereby enhancing the demand for disposable syringes. Worldwide market for syringes is driven by an aging population and related rise in healthcare demand. Other factors influencing growth include increasing popularity of pre filled syringes, rising incidence of diabetes, and growing awareness of AIDS and other infectious diseases. Lubricants Blending Plant Lubricants/Grease/Brake Fluid/Coolant) - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study

A lubricant is a substance introduced to reduce friction between moving surfaces. It may also have the function of transporting foreign particles. The property of reducing friction is known as lubricity (Slipperiness). A good lubricant possesses the following characteristics: High boiling point; Low freezing point; High viscosity index Thermal stability; Corrosion prevention; High resistance to oxidation. A solid or semisolid lubricant consisting of a thickening agent (soap or other additives) in a fluid lubricant (usually petroleum lubricating oil) is called grease. Grease is a lubricant which has been thickened in order that it remains in contact with moving surfaces and not leak out under gravity or centrifugal action. Brake fluid is a type of hydraulic fluid used in hydraulic brake and hydraulic clutch applications in automobiles, motorcycles, light trucks, and some bicycles. It is used to transfer force into pressure. It works because liquids are not appreciably compressible in their natural state the component molecules do not have internal voids and the molecules pack together well, so bulk forces are directly transferred to trying to compress the fluid's chemical bonds. A coolant is a fluid which flows through or around a device to prevent its overheating, transferring the heat produced by the device to other devices that use or dissipate it. An ideal coolant has high thermal capacity, low viscosity, is low cost, non toxic, and chemically inert, neither causing nor promoting corrosion of the cooling system. Some applications also require the coolant to be an electrical insulator. Uses and Applications Lubricants perform the following key functions: keep moving parts apart; reduce friction; transfer heat; carry away contaminants & debris; transmit power; protect against wear; prevent corrosion; seal for gases; stop the risk of smoke and fire of objects and prevent rust. Functions of lubricating grease: reduce wear and tear; sealant to contaminants; prevent corrosion; prevent rust and increases heat transmission. Coolant compositions are used for a variety of applications. For instance, a paper discloses a coolant composition having glycol as a main component, which prevents iron and aluminum from being corroded, and in particular, has corrosion preventing properties for aluminum and aluminum alloys at high temperatures. Another data comprises an improved antifreeze coolant composition with certain additives that serve to increase the thermal stability of the glycol component of a glycol/water coolant composition and to reduce the tendency of the glycol component to degrade under elevated thermal conditions. They are also used for cold preservation of foods by utilizing the latent heat of fusion at the freezing point which is substantially higher than 0°C. Brake fluids must maintain a low level of compressibility that remains low, even with varying temperatures. Market Survey Worldwide, there are 1380 lubricant manufacturers ranging from large to small. At present, there are about 180 such national and multinational oil companies engaged in manufacturing lubricants. The 1200 independent lubricant companies mainly concentrate on the manufacturing and marketing of lubricants and view lubricants as their core business. On one hand there are vertically integrated petroleum companies whose main business objective is the discovery, extraction and refining of crude oil. . While the large, integrated companies focus on high volume lubricants such as engine, gear and hydraulic oils, many independent lube companies concentrate on specialties and niche business, where apart from some tailor made lubricants, comprehensive and expert customer service is part of the package. Central and Eastern Europe account for the majority of worldwide grease usage. Followed by Asia Pacific, North America, Western Europe, Central and South America, Africa and the Middle East. A significant difference in the types of products used exists among these regions. Western Europe and North America typically require higher quality products than do Central and Eastern European users. Africa uses specialized products (such as greases for mining equipment) and the use of Polyurea products predominates in Asia. India reports a higher percentage of lithium, lithium complex and greases in comparison to the international data. This could be due to a difference in equipment lubrication demands in various parts of the India. Few Indian Major Players are as under: Alicid Organic Inds. Ltd. Asia Refinery Ltd. The consumption pattern of guar seeds is largely influenced by the demands from the petroleum industry of United States of America and the oil fields in the Middle East as the derivative products of these seeds are quite useful in the petroleum drilling industries. India is also the world leader in the exports of guar and its derivatives followed by Pakistan. India produces 600000 lakh tons of guar annually i.e. the maximum level of production in the world. It contributes to around 80% share in the world’s total production. Industrial-grade guar gum, currently the more desirable of the two grades, is utilized in hydraulic fracturing fluids. Guar gum has recently seen a significant spike in prices. Industry insiders are pointing to market manipulation, in the forms of price speculation by traders, hoarding by suppliers and increased demand from the fracking fluid industry as the primary reason for these increases. Currently, prices are at a 12-year high and have been rising at an extraordinary rate – making these figures, quite possibly, some of the fastest-moving commodity prices ever seen. India and Pakistan are the major producers of guar gum. India, which produces nearly 80 percent of the world's guar gum, is also the largest exporter of this product, as guar gum requires a unique climate of drought and monsoon weather for successful growth. AUTOMOBILE TYRES for Trucks, Buses and Lorries - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities

Advances in tyre materials, tyre constructions and tyre manufacturing technology have led to new types of products and the development of new market segments. Tyre manufacturing technology has progressed in parallel with tyre construction technology so that tyre is now designed not only to meet specific performance targets, but also to enable improved 'manufacturability', i.e., more efficient, lower cost and more uniform production. The tyre and tubes are very important rubber products and widely used everywhere in the world. Now there is a great change in the raw materials consumption which varies according to the tyre and tube application such as tractor tyre, truck and Airoplane tyre. There are used in vehicles for comfortable side and low power consumption. Various types of tyre are available namely pneumatic solid tyre. Uses and Applications High performance tyres are designed for use at higher speeds, and more often, a more "sporty" driving style. They feature a softer rubber compound for improved traction, especially on high speed cornering. Tyre are used in large numbers on automobiles, truks, aircraft and bicycle.End-of-life tyre in whole, cut or stamped form can be used in many environmentally sound applications to take advantage of their shape, sound and impact absorption properties and/or material characteristics. As a particular example, whole tyres are used frequently in coastal protection projects. Whole tyres have been used with considerable success to create artificial reefs and erosion barriers, sea-walls and off-coast breakwaters. In both sea and fresh water harbours, tyres are used as boat fenders, absorbing the shock from moving boats to protect the hulls and sea walls, particularly during storms.Cut, chunked and shredded tyre also used as a principal material on building riverbank protections, reversing and preventing erosion particularly in swift water areas. Market Survey The Indian tyre industry has come of age with the manufacture of almost all types of tyres. The truck and bus segment is a major constituent (by value) of the tyre industry, accounting for over two-third of the total value of the industry. The upsurge in demand has generally helped the performance of tyre majors such as MRF, Apollo Tyres and Ceat. The industry has, in the recent years, been quick in absorbing and adapting the cross-ply technology as well. The conventional bias technology is almost out globally and even earlier version of cross-ply is becoming obsolete. Although the global majors had operated for a long time, their upgraded technological capabilities ceased to flow to the Indian industry. In the recent years, the tyre industry has been witnessing structural changes. Global majors like Bridgestone have commissioned production facilities in India. Continental has taken equity stake in an existing Indian major thus making a direct entry into the market - a shift from being only a technology supplier so far. Rubber Compounding for Automobile Industry - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities

Compounding, a term that has evolved within the tire and rubber industry, is the materials science of modifying a rubber or elastomeric or a blend of polymers and other materials to optimize properties to meet a given service application or set of performance parameters. Compounding is therefore a complex multidisciplinary science necessitating knowledge of materials physics, organic and polymer chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and chemical reaction kinetics. compounding consists of specifying the type and amount of the various ingredients in a mixture, the manner of mixing processing of the finished mix and the method of vulcanization and the requirement of end product. The primary requirement of adding different compounding ingredients to develop a technical rubber compound is to meet different service needs at an economic price and to provide certain desired physical properties. Uses and Applications Rubber Compounding for automobile is used for making Tyres for Aircrafts, Buses, cars, bicycles etc. Rubber compounds are use in car industry for manufacturing various items such as seals, diaphragms, sleeves, bellows, grommets, sealing profiles, pedals, hoses, transmission belts, etc. Beside its use in automobile industry other uses of Rubber Compounds include: in manufacturing of tubes, in oil resistance, used in house hold appliances. Some examples of rubber products are seals, diaphragms, grommets, shock absorbers, sleeves, hoses, outlets, in offering resistance against abrasion and toughness etc. Market Survey Following the liberalisation of the Indian economy in early 1990s and particularly after the opening up of the auto sector to the global players, the end of the decade presented a vastly transformed scenario for the industry. The industry has witnessed technology and product upgradation to world-class standards accompanied by intensive competition. India is striving to emerge as a substantial exporter of vehicles. Currently, exports make up for 10% of overall sales. With the waning of interest by industrial countries in auto industry, conditions are propitious for the shift of production bases to countries like India. It is believed that for all auto majors, India is ideally positioned to become a major production base for the ASEAN region. Present Manufacturers Andhra Polymers Pvt. Ltd. Elgi Rubber Co. Ltd.
