Profile Single super phosphate is a highly demanded fertilizer mostly used at the time of preparation of land. It comprises of 16% water soluble phosphate which is readily accepted by the crops. The fertilizers effectiveness of SSP remains unquestioned. In fact it has become a standard of comparison for other fertilizers. SSP is primarily used as a crop nutrient source. However MCP and gypsum (the two primary ingredients in SSP) are widely used in many products. Properties Powder SSP (Green super phosphate) Granulated SSP (GSSP) • Moisture Contents: Max 12% Moisture Contents: Max 6% • Free Acidity: Max 4% Free Acidity: Max 4% • Water Soluble: Min 16 Water Soluble P2O5: Min 16% Production Procedure The main feeds (ingredients) for the process are concentrated sulphuric acid, and phosphate rock. The main aim of the super phosphate process is to convert this PO4 into a soluble form. • The phosphate rock is crushed into fine particles, • The rock is reacted with concentrated sulphuric acid, converting much of the PO4 into a soluble form. Most of this reaction occurs quickly, but it will continue slowly over the next few days, • The reacted mixture is granulated (turned into small pellets) and the granules are left to mature for weeks before use. Application SSP is an excellent source of three plant nutrients. The uses of SSP are: • Supplying plants with phosphorus, sulphur & calcium element • Fixing plant roots in soil and helping them combat pests • PSSP gives plants a better chance to carry out their bio-functions, such as germination, vegetation and ripeness • GSSP can be used to fertilize desert and calcareous lands and is perfectly usable in automatic/mechanical fertilization Market Potential There are about 80 plants of SSP in India and consumption of SSP is about 30 Lac MT. SSP contributes to 6.6% of total phosphatic inputs in India.India contributes 16% of the Global Fertilizer consumption. In India above 5 states have 80% consumption of total SSP. Acknowledging SSP as key Phophatic fertilizer at par with DAP on nutrient content, it is expected improved Productivity as soil will get the much desired Sulphur, farmer gets P at lower rate, government benefits due to lower subsidy bill, option with farmer at lower P price in SSP along with other nutrients (S & Ca) availability without additional cost, employment creation by local SSP manufacture and value within the country and win win situation to ensure that the NBS is sustained.

As a normal human being requires an average of 2 & 3 liters of water every day and world population is more than one billion (growing at 2 & 3% annually) the business opportunity is enormous and the potential is largely untapped. The water used for potable purposes should be free from undesirable impurities. As the name implies, the mineral water is the purified water fortified with requisite amounts of minerals such as Barium, Iron, Manganese, etc which can be absorbed by human body. It is either obtained from natural resources like spring and drilled wells or it is fortified artificially by blending and treating with mineral salts. The mineral water shall be manufactured and packed under hygienic conditions in properly washed and cleaned bottles in sterilized conditions. Application Packaged drinking water ensures safe, clean, potable water for human consumption. Mineral water is bottled under very hygienic conditions under strict quality control before being marketed. Its major use is in five star Hotels and Hospitals where good quality pure water is required for potable purposes. It is marketed at places and regions where hygienic drinking water is not freely available. Market Scenario The global bottled water sales have increased dramatically over the past several decades. The growing demand for bottled water speaks volumes of the scarcity of clean drinking water and the quality of tap water. It has become an icon of healthy lifestyle emerging in India. Selling safety i.e. pure and simple water has now become one of the fastest growing industries in India despite the harsh truth it is build on the foundation of bad governance, inequality and obvious exploitation. However, bottled water provides the 3 distance advantages of convenient packing, consistent quality and is ubiquitous. Several varieties of gypsum board products are available; each is comprised of a specially formulated gypsum plaster mix and facing paper specifically developed for the intended application. These gypsum board products include regular gypsum wallboard, moisture resistant gypsum board, and type X fire resistant gypsum board. Gypsum plaster boards are classified according to their use. Gypsum wall board has a face to which decoration may be applied. There are five types of gypsum board product that are considered standard. Innovation has created several new products now available. • Standard Gypsum Board: Regular core, Flexible board, Type “X” fire resistant, Moisture resistant and Plaster baseboard. • Specialty Gypsum Board: Interior ceiling board, Mold & Moisture resistant, Shaft liner, Abuse resistant and Impact resistant. The compressive strength of hardened gypsum plaster boards depends on the quantity of water used in the paste before setting the strength of the product also depends upon its moisture content in the presence of 1% of moisture the compressive strength decreases to about 40% of that of the dry product because of the increased friction between the crystals. Often no further decrease of strength is observed when the moisture content increases over 1%. The bending strength of Gypsum plaster boards is usually 50% of the compressive strength. Gypsum boards and their related products can be used in a variety of applications. Gypsum board is widely used for internal walls and ceilings by the construction industry, and is a material of growing importance in the do it yourself sector. Gypsum board is also a common fire barrier used in house and general building construction. Commonly gypsum boards used in walls and ceilings, in moist areas, in exterior applications, for fire resistance and area separation and special systems. Gypsum plaster board (GPB) popularly known as gypboard, is a low cost, light weight construction material made from aerated gypsum plaster and produced in varying thicknesses suitable for different applications. Gypsum is an important raw material used in the manufacture of cement. Consumption of gypsum varies from 2 to 6% in different plants depending upon the quality of clinker. India has good reserves of natural gypsum, mainly concentrated in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu. Besides, a number of chemical industries obtain gypsum as a by product in the form of phospho gypsum. The chemical gypsum can be utilised as a whole or as part substitute to natural gypsum. Many cement plants, which are located near the source of phosphogypsum are using this substitute product.

ELECTROLYTIC MANGANESE DIOXIDE - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue

EMD is a complex composite of various crystals of manganese and oxygen that is produced through electro-winning. It is used primarily as the active constituent of alkaline batteries and increasingly as the feedstock for the cathodic material in lithium-ion batteries. The structure of EMD is highly disordered, but predominantly made up of the manganese dioxide crystal ramsdellite, depicted here, with the red balls signifying the oxygen atoms in the green manganese dioxide crystal lattice. Electrolytic manganese dioxide is a high purity product with molecular formula MnO2 that possesses the ‘recipe specific’ electrical characteristics desired by battery producers. Natural manganese dioxide (NMD) can be used in the Leclanche cells. But in alkaline, lithium and other batteries, synthetic managanese dioxide with higher purity is required. Electrolytic manganese dioxide (EMD) is used as a cathode mixture material for dry cell batteries, such as alkaline batteries, zinc-carbon batteries rechargeable alkaline batteries. Among the large variety of manganese dioxides, y-type managanese dioxide is extensively used, as y-variety compounds have high intercalation voltage. They have the ability to maintain high discharge rates, a good performance over a wide temperature range and have a long storage life. EMD is stable under normal temperature conditions. ELECTROLYTIC MAGNESIUM DIOXIDE NUCLEATION: Electrolytic manganese dioxide has been used worldwide in the manufacture of primary ZnMnO2 alkaline and Lechlanche type cells for decades. Their low cost and reliability impair their replacement by higher performance and secondary batteries. The performance of these batteries depends on the manufacture method of the manganese oxide due to the variation of the properties of the oxide with its crystallite size, density of lattice imperfections and extent of hydration. Sometimes the intercalation of lithium ions is carried out to improve performance characteristics of MnO2, for high energy density and high drain power application. Electrolytic manganese dioxide are doped with Bi, Pb and Ti ions is used for the manufacture of rechargeable alkaline manganese oxide cells. These ions are known to stabilize the MnO2 lattice towards dimensional changes that occur during charging and discharging cycles of the cells. The production of EMD is carried out through the electrolysis of hot MnSO4 and sulphuric acid solutions. Stainless steel or lead is the materials normally used as cathode, where hydrogen evolution takes place. Carbon, lead or titanium can be used as anode. Titanium anodes are preferred because the EMD is purer than that obtained with carbon and lead anodes. MARKET SCENARIO: As electric vehicles penetrate the auto market, EMD demand stands to benefit. The launch of electric cars and their expanding production is expected to increase demand for EMD for use in lithium-ion secondary batteries cathodes of the lithium manganese oxide and tertiary compound type. The highest potential growth segment for EMD is in large scale rechargeable batteries used in electric vehicles and electronics. At present, the rechargeable manganese battery segments account for less than 10% of total EMD demand. Alkaline batteries are a low growth end use, expected to track well below GDP growth rates over the forecast period. In small scale electronics, EMD use projected at historical growth rates of 4%. EMD is mostly used in alkaline and other small scale, consumer electronic batteries. World demand is estimated around 3,50,000 metric tonnes per annum in 2012 with growth rate in demand around 5%.

MARBLE AND ONYX - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue, Plant Layout

Marble is a non-foliated metamorphic rock composed of recrystallized carbonate minerals, most commonly calcite or dolomite. Geologists use the term marble to refer to metamorphosed limestone; however stonemasons use the term more broadly to encompass unmetamorphosed limestone. Marble is commonly used for sculpture and as a building material. Onyx is a banded variety of chalcedony. Chalcedony is a cryptocrystalline form of silica, composed of very fine intergrowths of the minerals quartz and moganite. These are both silica minerals, but they differ in that quartz has a trigonal crystal structure, while moganite is monoclinic. Chalcedony's standard chemical structure (based on the chemical structure of quartz) is SiO2 (Silicon Dioxide). The colours of its bands range from white to almost every colour (save some shades, such as purple or blue). Commonly, specimens of onyx contain bands of black and/or white. APPLICATIONS: Marble is largely used by the construction industry, whereas, for furniture and other decorative purposes its tiles and big size cut slabs are also used in flooring of all kinds of buildings i.e. houses for accommodation purposes, mosques, commercial buildings, hotels etc. However, refined and high quality marble is extensively used in handicraft and Kitchen tiling and making of table tops by the furniture industry, whereas, onyx is largely used for the manufacturing of handicrafts mainly for export purposes due to its premium quality and expansiveness. Multipurpose use of marble and onyx has lead to the development of various industries including furniture, construction and handicraft etc. For the purpose of this pre-feasibility we have confined ourselves to the handicraft industry where both marble and onyx are used for the manufacturing of different articles of decoration i.e. vases, clocks, table lamps, ashtray, chessboard, candle stands, telephone set etc. For Marble and Onyx Products Manufacturing, stone is obtained by exploding in mountains, then bring them into factories and cut them into various sizes, here after converted into different sizes and shapes, rubbing and polishing is applied in the end to bring shining and smoothness to the handicraft. For this purpose various machines are use i.e. lathe machine, grinders, polishers etc. MARKET SCENARIO: Global demand for marble and onyx products largely depend on the tourism industry around the world so as the local industry which is export oriented due to low profit margins on such products in the local market. Based on our discussions with the existing players who are exporting such items, Russia is the new emerging market and growing very fast where some cults of catholic Christianity consider onyx a sacred stone. Therefore, Russia may be a permanent market which has opened to international tourists after the fall of USSR during 80s. Seasonal demand of Marble and Onyx products largely depend on religious and cultural occasions round the world. Its demand increases particularly during New Years beginning, on religious occasions i.e. Christmas, Valentines Day, during sports events i.e. Football and Cricket World Cups etc.

Paper is one of the necessities of civilization and it is almost impossible to imagine the continuance of a world without the printed books and newspapers. People require paper to meet the basic needs of modern life because it has many diverse uses. Modern paper is made from cellulose derived from a limited numbers of plants, the fibres being mixed with sufficient water to render possible the formation of a continuous sheet of wells of paper of uniform thickness. The invention of this method of paper making is attributed to the Chinese about 80 to 150 B.C. Cellulose is the substance of which the permanent cell membranes of plants are composed and it forms the bulk of the tissues of wood and similar plant structures. In most cases the presence of colouring matter and various waxy and resinous substances taken up by the growing plant render the cellulose impure, and it is desirable that as far as possible all impurities should be removed before the fibres are made into paper. Vegetable fibres of all kinds may be converted into paper among the various types of paper serving different end uses Tissue and Air mail paper are required for very specific purposes. France is recognized to be the largest producer of tissues of various grades in Europe, thus becoming a major exporter of this commodity. Facial and tide tissue papers fall in the category of (Light weight sanitary tissue: and comprise of items viz. facial tissue sanitary tissue, table howkins and toweling paper such varieties of papers are normally un sized and manufactured in soft, loosely felted conditions it as to obtain maximum absorbency in order to enables them to take up water quickly and bold it after absorption. E-Waste Recycling Plant - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue

E waste is a popular, informal name for electronic products nearing the end of their useful life. Computers, televisions, VCRs, stereos, copiers, and fax machines are common electronic products. Many of these products can be reused, refurbished, or recycled. Unfortunately, electronic discards are one of the fastest growing segments of our nation's waste stream. WEEE has been identified as one of the fastest growing sources of waste in the EU, and is estimated to be increasing by 16 to 28 per cent every five years. Within each sector a complex set of heterogeneous secondary wastes is created. Electronic wastes, e waste, e scrap, or Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is a description of surplus, obsolete, broken or discarded electrical or electronic devices. Technically, electronic waste is the component which is dumped or disposed or discarded rather than recycled, including residue from reuse and recycling operations. Because loads of surplus electronics are frequently commingled (good, recyclable, and non recyclable), several public policy advocates apply the term e waste broadly to all surplus electronics. Uses & Application Electronic Waste – or e waste – is the term used to describe old, end of life electronic appliances such as computers, laptops, TVs, DVD players, mobile phones, mp3 players etc. which have been disposed of by their original users. While there is no generally accepted definition of e waste, in most cases, e waste comprises of relatively expensive and essentially durable products used for data processing, telecommunications or entertainment in private households and businesses. Market Survey WEEE has been identified as one of the fastest growing sources of waste in the India, and is estimated to be increasing by 16 28 per cent every five years. Within each sector a complex set of heterogeneous secondary wastes is created. Although treatment requirements are complicated, the sources from any one sector possess many common characteristics. However, there exist huge variations in the nature of electronic wastes between sectors, and treatment regimes appropriate for one cannot be readily transferred to another.

Cast Iron Earth Pipes with Flanges - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities

Most of the old Cast Iron pipes are cast vertically but this type has been largely superseded by spun iron type manufactured up to a diameter of 900 mm. Though the cast iron pipe has the disadvantages of heavy weight, and consequent high transport costs, short length, leading to higher laying and jointing cost, low tensile strength, liability to defect of inner surface, it is widely used because of its good lasting qualities. There are many examples of cast iron mains in this country which continue to give satisfactory services even after a century of use. Cast of Iron pipes and fittings are being made in this country for more than a century. The production capacity exceeds more than 3,00,000 tons per annum. Due to its strength and corrosion resistance, C.I. pipes can be used in soils and for water of slightly aggressive character. They are well suited for pressure mains and laterals where tapping are made for house connections. It is preferable to have coating inside and outside of the pipe. Pipe flanges are protruding rims, edges, ribs, or collars used to make a connection between two pipes or between a pipe and any type of fitting or equipment component. Pipe flanges are used for dismantling piping systems, temporary or mobile installations, transitions between dissimilar materials, and connections in environments not conducive to solvent cementing. Uses & Applications Cast iron soil pipe and fittings are used primarily in building construction for sanitary and storm drain, waste, and vent piping applications. The product is installed in residential construction, hospitals, schools, and in commercial and industrial structures. For this reason, the pattern of cast iron soil pipe shipments and sales is directly related to the pattern of building/construction activity. In buildings, the principal assembly of this piping is installed within the partitions and serves the tub, lavatory, and water closet fixtures. The main line in this assembly is the cast iron soil stack, which runs vertically from the building drain up through the structure and through the roof. Waste lines are connected to this main soil stack, and vent lines may also be tied in at a point above the highest fixture. Market Survey India needs to grow faster than the conservative assumption at a GDP close to 10 percent a year. Cities grow rapidly, there will be rapid population growth and industry specific developments relating to massive usage of ductile iron pipes. The real life expectancy of cast iron pipe is unknown, but is usually estimated at 100 years or more. The oldest operating cast iron main is that at Versailles, France, installed in 1664. In United States and in Canada there are more than 500 members of the Cast Iron Pipe Century Club, a unique organization composed of cities or utilities have cast iron pipe still in service after 100 years. In India, Electro steel Castings Limited (ECL) was the first to set up a Ductile Iron Pipe Plant. Ductile Iron Pipe, a product of advanced metallurgy, offers unique properties for conveying water under pressure, and other piping uses. ?
