GLASS PRODUCTS
Glass Products are usually made out of the soda lime, which comprises of Silica. These are made from natural and abundant raw materials that are melted at very high temperatures. The unique feature of glass is that it exhibit its liquid forms too when melted at high temperatures. These can be molded into different shapes and size depending upon their utility. Automotive applications account for around 10 percent.

In Building Products, basic glass can undergo two or more stages of processing before being installed as original or replacement windows and glazing systems, or used as a component in Solar Energy, and a variety of other growing applications.
The expansion of the global glass packaging product industry is forecast to reach 2.4% p.a. in the coming years. Between 2008 and 2014 the market increased with an average annual growth of 4.7%.
