Soft Term Loan facility for Dairy, Poultry and Horticulture Sectors

ACE Title III Programme

The “Agricultural Commercialization and Enterprise (ACE) Title III Programme" strives to improve the investment environment for private agribusinesses. ACE activities focus primarily on promoting agribusiness innovations and diversity by linking technology and labour requirements, reduction of post-harvest losses,  and encouraging projects that are highly visible and replicable. The activities covered under ACE are:

 

1.      Fresh and processed fruits & vegetables

2.                  Spices, herbs/medicinal plants, hybrid seeds, tissue culture

3.      Fruits and vegetables-based processed foods

4.      Flowers and foliage

          5. Dairy/Milk processing           6. Poultry           7. Sericulrure

ACE Title III encourages innovative projects relating to post-farm sub-sectors of horticulture including post-harvest handling, packing and establishment of cold storage chains, mobile pre-cooling and processing, marketing, integrated facilities for growing high value and low gestation horticulture products and mushrooms.

ACE Title III Assistance

Up to 50% of the project cost subject to a maximum of Rs. 5.0 crore

Interest Rate

Rupee loans above existing rate of inflation

Eligible Expenditure

Expenditure would include plant & machinery, factory buildings and miscellaneous fixed assets. ACE funds can be utilized only for the purchase of plant and machinery or fixed assets in whole or in part for the project of Indian/US origin and shall be clearly identified.

Security

By way of Mortgage of Movable and Immovable Assets and any other security as may be required.

Repayment Period

As per the requirements of the project or up to a maximum period of 7 years inclusive of a suitable moratorium period.
