Introduction

The company's wholly owned US subsidiary Pidilite USA Inc, acquired Cyclo brand in June 2006. Cyclo products are sold in the USA and over 50 other countries. It also acquired Sargent Art brand at the same time. The product range includes crayons, tempera colours, acrylic colours, modelling clay and many other products.  

Bostik of the UK, another 100% Totalfina-Elf subsidiary, had a technical collaboration with Coates of India for the manufacture of industrial adhesives in the country. The company has already expanded its capacity by setting up a plant at Ahmedabad and increasing the capacity of its plant at Noida (UP). ICI India has acquired controlling interest in Polyinks Pvt Ltd a hotmelt adhesives company and  helped the business to improve its market share in the book binding and soap wrapper adhesive segments.
