Paraffin Wax - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue, Plant Economics

Paraffin wax is a white or colorless soft solid derivable from petroleum, coal or oil shale, that consists of a mixture of hydrocarbon molecules containing between twenty and forty carbon atoms. It is solid at room temperature and begins to melt above approximately 37°C (99°F); its boiling point is >370 °C (698 °F). Common applications for paraffin wax include lubrication, electrical insulation, and candles. It is distinct from kerosene, another petroleum product that is sometimes called paraffin. Paraffin wax from a solvent dewaxing operation is commonly known as slack wax, and the processes used for the production of waxes are aimed at de-oiling the slack wax (petroleum wax concentrate). Wax sweating was originally used to separate wax fractions with various melting points from the wax obtained from shale oils. Wax sweating is still used to some extent but is being replaced by the more convenient crystallization process. Chemically, paraffin wax is a mixture of saturated aliphatic hydrocarbons (with the general formula CnH2n+2).Wax is the residue extracted when lubricant oils are dewaxed and it has a crystalline structure with a carbon number greater than 12.The main characteristics of wax are (1) absence of color, (2) absence of odor, (3) translucence, and (4) a melting point above 45°C (113°F). Uses • Candle-making • Coatings for waxed paper or cloth • Food-grade paraffin wax: • Shiny coating used in candy-making; although edible, it is nondigestible, passing right through the body without being broken down • Coating for many kinds of hard cheese, like Edam cheese • Sealant for jars, cans, and bottles • Chewing gum additive • Anti-caking agent, moisture repellent, and dust binding coatings for fertilizers • Used in Forensic investigations Wax consumption has been projected to grow at an average annual rate of greater than 2 percent from 2010 to 2020. Waxes are used in a variety of products, including packaging, coatings, personal care products and of course, candles. Waxes can also be further processed into synthetic lubricants. Overall wax demands are largest for board sizing and candles . Combined these two products account for about 44 percent of the demand. Thus, due to demand it is a good project for entrepreneurs to invest. Few Indian Major Players are as under • Chennai Petroleum Corpn. Ltd. • Mahalaxmi Dyes & Chemicals Ltd.

Lubricants Blending Plant (Lubricants/Grease) - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities

A lubricant is a substance introduced to reduce friction between moving surfaces. It may also have the function of transporting foreign particles. The property of reducing friction is known as lubricity. (Slipperiness). A good lubricant possesses the following characteristics: High boiling point , Low freezing point ,High viscosity index , Thermal stability , Corrosion prevention , High resistance to oxidation. Lubricants are typically used to separate moving parts in a system. This has the benefit of reducing friction and surface fatigue, together with reduced heat generation, operating noise and vibrations. Lubricants may contain additives known as friction modifiers that chemically bind to metal surfaces to reduce surface friction even when there is insufficient bulk lubricant present for hydrodynamic lubrication, e.g. protecting the valve train in a car engine at startup. On average, lubricating oils, which quantitatively account for about 90% of lubricant consumption, consist of about 93% base oils and 7% chemical additives and other components (between 0.5 and 40 %). A solid or semisolid lubricant consisting of a thickening agent (soap or other additives) in a fluid lubricant (usually petroleum lubricating oil) is called grease.Grease is a lubricant which has been thickened in order that it remains in contact with moving surfaces and not leak out under gravity or centrifugal action. Functions of lubricating grease:- Reduce Wear and Tear , Sealant to Contaminants , Prevent Corrosion, Prevent Rust , Heat Transmission , Resist. The production of simple lubricants normally involves blending processes but specialties often require the use of chemical processes such as saponification (in the case of greases), esterification (when manufacturing ester base oils or additives) or amidation (when manufacturing components for metalworking lubricants). Further manufacturing processes include drying, filtration, homogenizing, dispersion or distillation. Throughout the world, industrial applications account for most of the grease used for railroad, general manufacturing, steel production and mining predominate Among automotive applications, trucks and buses account for the majority of grease used, followed by agricultural/construction equipment and passenger cars. Thus, Lubricants Blending Plant as an entrepreneur, offers an exciting opportunity to you. Few Indian Major Players are as under • Alicid Organic Inds. Aluminium Bare Conductors - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue

A wire or combination or wires not insulated from one another, suitable for carrying a single electric current is called conductor. The term conductor is not to include a combination of conductors insulated from one another, which would be suitable for carrying several different electric currents. Aluminium is a metal characterized by high resistance to corrosion, good electrical and thermal conductivity, and a density which is about one-third or less that of steel, copper, or nickel. Aluminium can be used as a power conductor, or for wire and cable shielding. Aluminium provides a lower weight to current-carrying ratio compared to copper. Aluminium has a lower tensile strength than copper, but approaches that of copper for the equivalent ampacity. When terminated with appropriate plating, hardware and processes as stipulated by the governing standards, Aluminium bussing, wiring and terminations prove to be as reliable as copper. Finally, the choice of Aluminium conductors can provide a significant cost savings. Aluminium and aluminium alloy conductors are the preferred and dominant conductors in several areas of power distribution. The major areas dominated by aluminium and aluminium alloy conductors are non-insulated overhead power transmission, insulated overhead power transmission and non overhead power distribution. Aluminium and aluminium alloy conductors offer good conductivity, light weight, excellent resistance to corrosion, good bending properties, greater tensile strength than copper and excellent compatibility with most common insulation used by the wire and cable industry. During 2010-2015, the Indian equipment manufacturing will grow at 5.5 times the growth rate of global electronic equipment production. Therefore, it is a good project for entrepreneurs to invest. A restaurant is simply a place to have food outside your home. It is smaller in size than a hotel as it does not have accommodation facilities. It is an establishment that serves the customers with prepared food and beverages to order, to be consumed on the premises. The term covers a multiplicity of venues and a diversity of styles of cuisine. The one and only feature of a restaurant is the kind of food and/or beverages it serves to its customers. There are all sorts of restaurants in all cities of the world ranging from budget to very expensive ones where international cuisine is served and the ambience is great. Some restaurants also serve alcoholic drinks for which they obtain a license from the administration. Some are specialized restaurants where a particular cuisine is served such as Chinese, Italian, Thai, Japanese, and so on. Restaurants range from unpretentious lunching or dining places catering to people working nearby, with simple food and fixed menu served in simple settings at low prices, to expensive establishments serving expensive speciality food and wines in a formal setting. In the former case, customers usually wear casual clothing. In the latter case, depending on culture and local traditions, customers might wear semi-casual, semi-formal, or even in rare cases formal wear. Typically, customers sit at tables, their orders are taken by a waiter, who brings the food when it is ready, and the customers pay the bill before leaving. INDIA is one of the world’s largest producers as well as consumers of food. Changing food consumption patterns of India’s population is expected to not only increase consumption volume in absolute terms to US$230 billion but also shift people’s diet qualitatively towards richer, processed foods, which will force increased commodity requirements. Calcium Carbonate (Activated & Precipitated) - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities

Sizing Precipitated Calcium Carbonate (PCC)—also known as purified, refined or synthetic calcium carbonate. It has the same chemical formula as other types of calcium carbonate, such as limestone, marble and chalk: CaCO3. The calcium, carbon and oxygen atoms can arrange themselves in three different ways, to form three different calcium carbonate minerals. The most common arrangement for both precipitated and ground calcium carbonates is the hexagonal form known as calcite. Precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC), a manufactured form of calcium carbonate, is made by first hydrating high-calcium quicklime, and then reacting the resulting slurry or "milk-of lime" with carbon dioxide. The resulting product is extremely white and has a uniformly small particle size. It has numerous uses, most notably in the paper industry. With the trend in papermaking toward using the alkaline over the acid process, PCC is being used increasingly as a filler and coating pigment for premium quality paper. The trend is to produce PCC in slurry form at satellite plants located near the paper mills, using commercial quicklime, although it is also produced and sold commercially. PCC is used to enhance the brightness, color, smoothness, and bulk of the paper, replacing more expensive paper pulp. Approximately 75% of worldwide PCC production is used for this purpose. According to GIA, Global market for Calcium Carbonate is projected to reach 94 million tons by 2018, driven by the rising consumption in paper and plastic industries and the growing demand for PCC and GCC in Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and the Middle East. Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3) is an inorganic mineral that finds extensive use as functional and commercial filler in plastic, paper, rubber, coatings, light chemicals, and architectural materials, among others. Growth in the Precipitated Calcium Carbonate (PCC) market would be driven by the increasing number of paper mills and rising demand from plastics sector. Reclamation of Used Engine Oil by Alkali Refining Process(Caustic Soda)

Huge amounts of used lubricating oils from automotive sources are disposed of as a harmful waste into the environment. The cost and availability of oil and its products will significantly impact our quality of life, the stability of our environment, the health of national economies and even the relationships between nations. Now-a-days engine oil has become an important factor for automobile and other purposes and since the prices of all petroleum products have gone up, it has become extremely necessary to refine used engine oil which could be reused as original. Engine oil becomes contaminated with foreign material in service. In circulating systems, where a substantial quantity of oil is involved, it is desirable to maintain it as clean as possible to provide maximum working efficiency and to keep wear and damage of lubricated parts to a minimum. Reconditioning of used oil may be accomplished by a continuous by pass or batch methods or combination of these. In the continuous system the entire amount of the oil from main pressure line is continuously filtered. In the bypass system a fraction of the total is continuously filtered. Lubricating oil are used to reduce friction on our engine, protection against wear and tear, dust, carry away heat and prevent contamination. Over a period of time, properties of lubricating oils are adversely affected by contamination that we tend to prevent such as: soot, water, acids, dirt and fuel. The lubricating oil and grease market in India is of the order of about 4.6 mn tonne and is growing at around 4.5% annually. The moderate growth is paradoxically due to the supply of better quality of lubricants which have longer servicing capability. Therefore it is a good project to invest.
