Bicycle Tyre & Tubes Production from Natural Rubber

Bicycle Tyre & Tubes Production from Natural Rubber. How to Start a Tire and Tubes Manufacturing Business Tyres are one of the most important components of a bicycle build. Bicycle tires perform an important function of eliminating the shock transferred through the front and rear wheels as they travel on uneven and rough surfaces; effectively gaining traction on the road so that the bicycle can travel properly and doesn’t slip. It is also used for hand cycles and specially designed wheelchairs for racing purposes. The complete tire system provides ideal suspension, produces the longitudinal force essential for propulsion and braking, and creates the lateral force required for turning and balancing. A bicycle tire is a tire that fits on the wheel of a bicycle, unicycle, tricycle, quadracycle, bicycle trailer, or trailer bike. They may also be used on wheelchairs and handcycles, especially for racing. Bicycle tires provide an important source of suspension, generate the lateral forces necessary for balancing and turning, and generate the longitudinal forces necessary for propulsion and braking. They are the second largest source, after air drag, of power consumption on a level road. The modern detachable pneumatic bicycle tire contributed to the popularity and eventual dominance of the safety bicycle. There are various grips offered in the market, which enhance traction between the wheels and the road and increase performance at high speeds and on uneven and rough terrains. The recent removable pneumatic bicycle tire contributed to the acceptance and enhanced safety operation of bicycle. Over the years, with bicycles becoming more advanced and efficient, advanced bicycle tires have been developed to improve riding performance and capability. Over the several years manufacturers were keen on reducing the bicycle’s body weight and enhancing strength, so it may travel at a desirable speeds. Tube Bicycle tubes are the backbone of the bicycle industries. Few numbers of companies in organized sector are engaged in the quality grade cycles tyres and tubes and few unorganized sector also engaged to manufacturing bicycle tyre and tubes. An inner tube is basically a doughnut-shaped balloon, with a valve for inflation. The only requirement for an inner tube is that it should not leak. Being rubber, they have no rigid structure. If an inner tube is inflated outside of a tyre, it will expand to 2 or 3 times its nominal size, if it doesn't explode first. Without being surrounded by a tyre, an inner tube can't withstand any significant air pressure. Market Outlook The bicycle tires market possesses a lot of potential for growth in the research and development division. Also, the market for bicycle tires has increased due to development in the overall bicycle market, as consumers are more attracted towards safety and riding comfort. In a bicycle, tires are the most important component and the replacement rate of the tires is high, owing to the high rate of friction between the tire and road. The aftermarket for replacement and services is projected to remain healthy over the forecast period as consumers will try to keep their bikes up to the mark. Moreover, in developed nations, the ability to ride at faster speeds with comfort is estimated to drive growth of the bicycle tires market in the near future. Furthermore, growth in racing and adventure sports, such as dirt biking and off-road riding will fuel growth of the overall bicycle tires market in the coming future. Events, such as the Tour de France, Olympics and other bicycle professional races will propel growth in the bicycle tires market and force manufacturers to come up with new product and goods, which are more capable for ideal riding. The emergence of eco-friendly bicycle tires is one of the major trends being witnessed in the global bicycle tires market 2019-2023. The products used in manufacturing rubber compounds are polluting the environment. The increasing air pollution is pushing manufacturers to reduce the emission from the manufacturing process. Thus, such environmental concerns have paved the way for innovation in terms of eco-friendly tires that are manufactured using pure rubber compounds and low-aromatic oils. Low-aromatic oils have low levels of harmful compounds, which makes them highly durable and non-carcinogenic. The bicycle tires market has been majorly driven by increasing users of bicycles in the recent years. Various factors such as environmental concerns, health and fitness, among others have compelled pedestrians to make use of bicycles for their regular commute. Thereby, the market has witnessed an increasing demand for new bicycles for various applications such as regular on-road use, off-road biking and sports. As a result, the bicycle tire market has been witnessing an increased demand for various types of on-road and off-road tires. Moreover, with ongoing product innovation in the tubeless and airless tires segments, the market is expected to witness significant growth during the forecast period. The Growing popularity of premium bicycles around the world is attributable to the increasing acceptance of premium bicycle that provide better riding and safety features. These bicycles are built using advanced technologies and modern designs by incorporating high- end materials to offer comfort and durability. The major reason for the growth of premium bicycle is increasing average disposable income and increasing dual household income. The increasing demand for premium bicycles is increasing the demand for the high- quality components and uniqueness in the bicycle tire. Such factors increase the revenue of the bicycle tire manufactures. Therefore, the growing demand for premium bicycles is expected to drive the demand for the market. Indian Tyre Industry The Indian Tyre industry is expected to show a healthy growth rate of 9-10% over the next five years. The domestic tyre industry is expected to post volumes growth of 7-8 per cent to 1,805 lakh tyres during FY2018. Indian tyre industry has been reporting good growth figures over the past few years, spurred by the growing passenger vehicle and two-wheeler market. It has emerged as one of the most competitive markets in the world and with the emergence of new technology, ultra-modern production facilities and availability of raw materials, the sector is poised to grow further. Tyre Inner Tubes Tyre inner tubes are the internal components of the primary tyre which are designed to sustain air pressure. Majority of the tyres which are used in motorcycles, bicycle and large vehicles such as tractors, heavy trucks, cars, and buses are designed for their application with inner tubes. These are made from impermeable materials such as synthetic, elastic, soft rubber for the purpose of avoiding air leakge and are torus shaped in nature. In addition, inner tubes which are larger in size possess the ability to be re used for other applications such as rafting and swimming. These tubes are large inflatable toruses which are manufactured for these applications while also offering a choice of decks, handles, fabric covering, colors and other various accessories, eliminating the protruding valve stem. The global inner tube industry is dependent on raw materials such as rubber suppliers as well as the buyers which mainly include automotive manufacturers. More than half of the global rubber production goes into the manufacturing of automotive tyres. In addition, the inner tube and tyre industry serve as the largest application segment in the overall rubber industry. Bicycle Rim

A bicycle wheel is a wheel, most commonly a wire wheel, designed for a bicycle. A pair is often called a wheel set, especially in the context of ready built "off the shelf" performance-oriented wheels. Bicycle wheels are typically designed to fit into the frame and fork via dropouts, and hold bicycle tires. The first bicycle wheels followed the traditions of carriage building: a wooden hub, a fixed steel axle (the bearings were located in the fork ends), wooden spokes and a shrink fitted iron tire. A typical modern wheel has a metal hub, wire tension spokes and a metal or carbon fiber rim which holds a pneumatic rubber tire. The rim is the "outer edge of a wheel, holding the tire". It makes up the outer circular design of the wheel on which the inside edge of the tire is mounted on vehicles such as automobiles. For example, on a bicycle wheel the rim is a large hoop attached to the outer ends of the spokes of the wheel that holds the tire and tube. In cross-section, the rim is deep in the center and shallow at the outer edges, thus forming a "U" shape that supports for the bead of the tire casing. The regional demand dynamics of bicycle rims is directly correlated with the overall production and fleet of the bicycles. China is projected to dominate in terms of sales and is estimated to remain dominant in terms of demand for bicycle rims owing to increasing sales of bicycles. North America is expected to grow at significant CAGR during the forecast period in the bicycle rim market owing to increasing government regulations to support green transportation in the region.

Oxygen and Nitrogen Gas Production

Oxygen and Nitrogen Gas Production. Industrial Gas Plant India industrial gases market forecast to grow at a CAGR of over 11% Oxygen Gas Oxygen and nitrogen are the most important industrial gases finding its application in large quantities in metal fabrication and cutting industries. It is used in electric arc steel furnaces for decarburization and scrap matting. Oxygen is also used in medical treatment and for breathing at high altitude flying. Some quantities of liquid oxygen are used in explosives, chemicals and petrochemicals industries as an oxidizing and catalytic agent. As the quantity of oxygen required in integrated steel plants is huge, the excess of oxygen is compressed and bottled in steel cylinders and supplied to engineering industries such as manufacture of machine tools, industrial machinery, automobiles and component manufacturers, fabricators of chemical plants, storage tanks, and furniture and building elements. Nitrogen Gas Nitrogen is a colorless, odorless, inert and non-flammable gas. Although it is inert in nature, it reacts with other compounds under specific conditions. Industrial Nitrogen has a varied range of application in different industries. Nitrogen gas is used in the production of ammonia which in turn is used for the manufacture of urea and ammonium phosphate, which are fertilizers of great use. Nitrogen gas is used for blanketing hazardous chemicals which is an inert atmosphere. Nitrogen gas is used for purging purposes. Nitrogen gas is used for the purification of other gases with extremely low boiling points, such as hydrogen scrubbing. High purity nitrogen is used in strip steel annealing prior to tin plating. Human blood and cattle sperm cells are pressured by using nitrogen liquid freezing method. Large quantities of liquid nitrogen are employed in the preservation of food by rapid freezing. Liquid nitrogen is also used to maintain low temperatures during the transportation of frozen food. The demand of oxygen and nitrogen gas will increase in future Uses: Oxygen gas • Oxygen is also used in many industrial, commercial, medical, and scientific applications. It is used in blast furnaces to make steel, and is an important component in the production of many synthetic chemicals, including ammonia, alcohols, and various plastics. • The steel industry also uses oxygen gas in an oxy-acetylene flame, for scale removal from billets, and in oxygen lances, for cutting out imperfect ions. • The continuous gasification of coal or other solid fuel, oxygen gas admixed with steam is passed into the fuel bed and maintains a sufficiently high temperature to allow the waleragas reaction to proceed smoothly. • Oxygen gas is used in hospitals (to enrich air in respirators and to mix with anesthetics), aviation (for pilots' air supply), and pollution control. The space program was a major user of oxygen, • In the chemical and petrochemical industries, as well as in the oil and gas sector oxygen is used in commercial volumes as an oxidizer in chemical reactions. The use of oxygen in gas-flame operations, such as metal welding, cutting and brazing is one of the most significant and common applications of this gas. Nitrogen Gas • Nitrogen is used primarily as a freezing agent and a blanketing agent. About 21% of nitrogen produced is used for freezing • Other freezing applications include cryogenic size reduction of plastics, rubber, spices, and pharmaceuticals. About 33% of all nitrogen produced is used for blanketing, mostly in chemical processing and the electronics industry (14% each), with some application in the primary metals industry (5%). • Demand for nitrogen has been growing steadily 1n the liquefied industrial gases market and the chemical industry. In the aluminum industry, nitrogen has been replacing inert gas generators. The enhanced -oil products industry also requires fairly large quantities of gaseous nitrogen. • Nitrogen requirements for steel manufacture are modest and seldom exceed a small fraction of the oxygen flow. Some nitrogen~lso is used as the principal refrigerant in air separation cycles and as clean-up gas (to remove unwanted carbon dioxide and water). • Chemical Plants – Nitrogen is used to displace oxygen and prevent explosions in highly dangerous atmospheres, such as chemical plants and manufacturing facilities. Tire Inflation – Nitrogen offers many benefits when used to fill tires, such as giving them a longer life by reducing oxidation • Food Packaging – Nitrogen is used to displace oxygen in food packaging. By eliminating the oxygen, the food can last longer. It can also add a cushion around the food to keep it safe from breaking in transport. • Light Bulb Production – In incandescent light bulbs, nitrogen gas is often used as a cheaper alternative to argon. • Chemical Plants – Nitrogen is used to displace oxygen and prevent explosions in highly dangerous atmospheres, such as chemical plants and manufacturing facilities. • Tire Inflation – Nitrogen offers many benefits when used to fill tires, such as giving them a longer life by reducing oxidation. It also improves tire pressure retention to give drivers better gas mileage. • Electronics – When electronics are being assembled, nitrogen gas is used for soldering. Using nitrogen reduces the surface tension to provide a cleaner breakaway from the solder site. • Stainless Steel Manufacturing – By electroplating the stainless steel with nitrogen, the finished product is stronger and resistant to corrosion. • Pollution Control – Nitrogen gas can be used to remove the VOCs in liquids before they are discarded. • Pharmaceuticals – Almost every major drug class contains some nitrogen, even antibiotics. Nitrogen, in the form of nitrous oxide, is also used as an anesthetic. • Mining – In the mining industry, nitrogen gas is used to quickly extinguish fires by eliminating the oxygen from the air. And when an area is going to be abandoned, they use nitrogen to ensure the area will not explode. • Mild steel & carbon steel annealing • Electronic industries like semiconductors etc. • Blanketing during chemical reactions • Auto industries for Sintering, Brazing & Soldering • Food packaging • Tire filling • Metal powder formation Market Outlook The medical gases market size in India, in volume terms, is forecast to witness a two folds increase by 2019, exhibiting a CAGR of about 15% during 2014-19.
