Project Opportunities in Production of Condoms. Latex Condom Manufacturing. How to Manufacture Condoms (Lubricated)?

A condom is a sheath-shaped obstruction device used during sexual intercourse. It is very beneficial for reducing the chances of pregnancy. It also decreases the risk of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) such as HIV/AIDS. There are different types of condoms available in the market with the variety of thickness, texture, material, size, color and taste. Condoms are highly effective to reduce the probability of pregnancy if used consistently and correctly. The use of condoms, conceived primarily as a tool for family planning to curtail population growth, has attained a primacy in arresting the spreading of the dreaded disease, AIDS. Increasing awareness regarding sexually transmitted diseases (STD) and HIV is the major driving factor of condom market in U.S. Increasing prevalence of sexually transmitted diseases (STD) and HIV in U.S. is expected to boost the demand for condoms. In addition, increasing the need for family planning coupled with population control is expected to boost the condom market. India condom market is projected to reach $180 million by 2022 on account of rising consumer awareness about HIV/STIs. Moreover, expanding product portfolio of the leading players, growing e-commerce penetration, rising youth population and increasing trend in average marriable age are expected to act as the other major drivers for India condom market in the coming years. The Indian market has terrific potential. Only 21 percent of the country's 138.9 million eligible couples use condoms at present. If the figure were to rise to 50 per cent, demand would spurt to 5,000 million pieces a year. As domestic demand and export potential grow, other companies are also getting into the act. Drivers: • Rise in use of condoms for family planning propels the market growth. • Innovations in male condoms such as anti-ejaculation chemicals increases consumer interest. • Increase in promotional campaigns on the concept of safe sex, further helping the market to grow. The global condom market is expected to cross $11 billion by 2023. Factors such as an increase in per capita discretionary income of people globally and a rapid growing number of dual-income households in developing as well as developed markets are major growth factors for the global condom market. Male contraceptives will remain the dominant segment despite growing popularity of female condom. Further more comprehensive sex education for the most active demographic segment such as the teenagers is a major driver for the condom market growth. The global market for condoms is on a steady growth trend, backed by increasing emphasis on preventing unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases; growing popularity of female condoms; and continuous product innovations by leading manufacturers. Other growth drivers include growing preference for condoms as preferred choice of contraception given the potential health hazards of using contraceptive pills; use of condoms by gays; increased and enhanced commercial advertising stressing upon social acceptance; expanding distribution channels; increasing public health campaigns promoting the concept of safe sex and eye-catching and unique packaging by manufacturers. Initiatives taken up by government are also playing a role in propelling market growth. Condom marketing is moving towards emphasis on improving sexual pleasure. Manufacturers in this regard are constantly innovating new products such as super-thin, biodegradable, and custom-fit condoms. Other innovations include glowing as well as sports-themed condoms, female condoms fitted with Bluetooth outer ring, and male condoms with anti-ejaculation chemicals. One of the major objectives behind all these recent product innovations is to significantly enhance the overall pleasure, and position condom as a product that improves sex. Another notable trend in the condoms market is the growing popularity of female condoms. Female condoms are being viewed as a way of providing females with more control over their own sexual safety, and helps in preventing unwanted pregnancy as well as spread of STDs. Condoms, developing countries are expected to drive future growth given the relatively strong economic activity, and higher proportion of younger demographics. Limited condom users and lack of awareness offer untapped opportunities for growth. Condom use specifically in countries like India and China is growing continuously, on account of increasing population, strong economy, and heightened public awareness that condom provides protection against STIs. Asia-Pacific represents the largest as well as the fastest growing market worldwide. Wall Paper Starch

Starches are inherently unsuitable for most applications and, therefore, must be modi?ed chemically and/or physically to enhance their positive attributes and/or to minimize their defects. Chemical modi?cation of starch generally involves esteri?cation, etheri?cation or oxidation of the available hydroxyl groups on the B-D-glucopyranosyl units that make up the starch polymers.i Reactions used to produce most commercially modi?ed starches have been reviewed by others. Many commercial derivatives are produced by the addition of reactive, organic reagents to aqueous starch slurries while controlling alkalinity (pH 7–9 for esteri?cation and pH 11–12 for etheri?cation) and temperature (typically 60°C). The wall paper starch is used in the fixing of the wallpaper on the walls. This is implied that this shall be directly connected with construction industry and its opportunities. The demand for starches and derivatives looks very promising in India as all the major user segments of starches and derivatives are showing near double digit growth in their production. The major users of starches and derivatives are food, textile, paper and pharma sectors. Global Modified Starch Market was valued at $7,995 million in 2016, and is projected to reach at $10,700 million by 2023, growing at a CAGR of 4.2% from 2017 to 2023. Maize and It’s by Products Starch, Liquid Glucose, Dextrose, Sorbitol, Maltose, Gluten, Germ and Fiber)

Maize also known as corn is a cereal grain. Maize has become a staple food in many parts of the world, with total production surpassing that of wheat or rice. However, not all of this maize is consumed directly by humans. Some of the maize production is used for corn ethanol, animal feed and other maize products, such as corn starch and corn syrup. Maize is the starch derived from the corn (maize) grain. The starch is obtained from the endosperm of the kernel. D-Soribitol, CH2OH(CHOH)4CH2OH (D-glucitol, L-gulitol), is a hexahydric alcohol with a 6-carbon atom straight-chain that contains six hydroxyl groups, and has a molecular weight of 182.17. The germ, which constitutes 8-14% of the total weight of the corn grain, includes 84-86% of the total oil content of the corn. In India, maize is a kharif crop with harvests and arrivals due only from October onwards. Kharif contributes over 80 per cent of the entire maize output. Bulk of the maize produced in the country goes for production of poultry feed. It is estimated that the demand for maize from the poultry industry would rise by about 6 percent. About twelve states which include Maharashtra, Bihar, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Delhi account for over 50 percent of the total maize acreage in the country. Increasing demand from Poultry sector is likely to substantially hike maize consumption to go over 30 million tons by 2020. Fish and Prawn Feed

The production of fish meal from fish offal and surplus fish benefits both the national economy and the fisherman and should not be regarded as a salvage operation. If the raw material is of an only nature, for example herrings, fish oil is recovered as an additional product and finds a variety of outlets, much of it going, after suitable refining treatment, into edible fat mixtures. Prawns (shrimps) are produced from the sea, estuaries, brackish water lakes and fresh water areas, both by fishing as well as by farming. Prawn farming is nothing but culture of prawn in an enclosed water body. There are several varieties of shrimps and only four of them are considered to be viable for farming at present in India. Fish farmers in India have increased access to high-quality feed this year, as Cargill has opened its first feed plant dedicated to fish species in the country. Aqua Feed Market - Global Industry Analysis, Size, Share, Growth, Trends and Forecast, 2013 - 2019,’ states that the market is predicted to expand at an 11.40% CAGR during the period between 2013 and 2019. Pre-Stressed Concrete Electric Poles

PSC poles stands for pre-stressed concrete. These are highly durable and strong PSC Poles fabricated from excellent quality concrete material. These poles are used extensively in electrical industry, for establishing electrical connections and fittings. Pre-stressing is generally a way to overcome concrete weakness in tension. Generally, the concrete undergoes compression on top flange and tension at bottom flange. The unique characteristics of pre-stressed concrete allow predetermined, engineering stresses to be placed in members to counteract stresses that occur when the unit is subjected to service loads. The demand for prestressed (Pre-cast/Reinforced) concrete-cement (PCC) poles directly depends on the growth of electric power sector, because these poles are solely meant for overhead transmission and distribution of power to consumer units. The Government of India is taking a number of steps and initiatives like 10-year tax exemption for solar energy projects, etc., in order to achieve India's ambitious renewable energy targets of adding 175 GW of renewable energy, including addition of 100 GW of solar power, by the year 2022.
