SANITARY NAPKIN (LOW INVESTMENT PROJECT)- Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities

The Sanitary napkin industry is closely connected with the mode of life, which is in turn directly correlated to housing. Accordingly this industry has always grown by keeping space with improvement in living and it is new indispensable for sanitary in modern housing. Because of intensive improvement and progress of sanitary goods, sanitary napkin is replaced by absorbent cotton in many countries today, since it is clean & it can be carried easily. Generally absorption paper, waterproof paper, crushed pulp, and non-woven cloth or rayon paper is used as raw material. OBJECTIVES: • To popularize and sensitize the use of sanitary napkins among the rural women and girls. • To establish and start preparation of cost effective/low cost sanitary napkins in scientific way for better health and hygiene among females. • To engage some rural unemployed youths in production and marketing and also to fulfill the school requirements to maximum parts. • To provide and supplied quality based sanitary napkins to rural women in comparatively low price than the napkins prevalent in the present day markets. MARKET SCENARIO There is a well-developed sanitary napkin industry in India, with major players such as Proctor & Gamble, and Johnsons & Johnsons, these sanitary napkins are often unaffordable to the millions of Indian women living in low-income and under-privileged section. This is primarily due to the cost of the sanitary napkins resulting from the use of exorbitant plant & machinery and huge profit margins by these brand name companies. Therefore, this project report focuses on a worthwhile sanitary napkin manufacturing Plant/machine through which one can produce and market bio-degradable sanitary napkins. The sanitary pad “gap” is clearly a major global development problem, yet also presents a major market opportunity for innovative, impact driven social enterprises. Sanitary napkin market has huge potential in a country like India where feminine hygiene levels are reckoned to be appallingly low. A sanitary napkin is a product with a stable demand among its consumer group and such stability will act as a base for its explosive growth. The growth in the Indian sanitary napkin consumption will be driven by factors like growing awareness among Indian women about feminine hygiene, availability of low cost sanitary napkins in the market as well as rising women population in our country. Escalating disposable incomes will also make sanitary napkins more affordable and will contribute in augmenting its usage. Indian sanitary napkin market is dominated by MNC’s like P&G Hygiene and Healthcare Ltd (PGHHL) and Johnson & Johnson Ltd. But gradually many homegrown low cost producers have realized the market potential of the product and are swiftly emerging with their low cost affordable offerings and we believe it will change the consumption dynamics of sanitary napkin in our nation. LOW PROJECT INVESTMENT Large scale automatic production line for sanitary napkin costs Rs. 3.5 to 10 Crores, However, the semi-automatic equipments used in this project accounts for approximately Rs.12-15 Lakhs. This allows SME sector and aspiring entrepreneurs to efficaciously use this low cost sanitary napkin manufacturing plant. The equipments used in the project are a set of portable machines that acquires a small area. The machine incorporates pinewood fiber, a raw material which goes through basic 4 step process: (a) de-fiberation, (b) core formation (c) sealing with soft touch sensitive heat control (d) sterilization. Waste Lubricating Oil Recycling - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue

Lubricating oils are widely used in industries to reduce friction and wear by interposing a thin film of oil between metallic surfaces. During normal use, impurities such as water, salt, dirt, metal scrapings, broken down additive components, varnish and other materials can get mixed in with the oil or be generated in it due to thermal degradation or oxidation. Re-refining of used lube oil is an economically attractive recycling method in terms of resources conservation and environment protection. It allows processing of hazardous material in a safe and effective way to recover a high quality base oil product. This result in a strong economic incentive for re-refining considering lube oil price. Used lubricating oil content Carbon Particle, un-dissolved Sold particles foreign material and above all 60-70% non used oil. For refining of lubricating oil it may be used filtration technique, centrifugation, adsorption technique, membrane filtration technique. The methods are basically physical treatment of oil, in some cases it may be chemical process. The lubricating oil and grease market in India is of the order of about 4.6 mn tonne and is growing at around 4.5% annually. The moderate growth is paradoxically due to the supply of better quality of lubricants which have longer servicing capability. The Indian lubricants industry claims to be the sixth largest in the world. Major MNCs such as Shell, Mobil, Gulf Oil, Castrol and Caltex have established operations in India. Some of these have even tied up or renewed old ties with public sector undertakings, thereby gaining the ad-vantage of distribution and infrastructural networks. The industry has been constrained in the recent period by high petroleum prices. Thus, it is a good project for entrepreneurs to invest. Few Indian Major Players are as under:- Alicid Organic Inds. A diaper or nappy is a kind of underwear that allows one to defecate or urinate in a discreet manner. When diapers become soiled, they require changing; this process is often performed by a second person such as a parent or caregiver. Diapers are primarily worn by children who are not yet potty trained or experience bed wetting. However, they can also be used by adults with incontinence or in certain circumstances where access to a toilet is unavailable. These can include the elderly, those with a physical or mental disability, and people working in extreme conditions such as astronauts. It is not uncommon for people to wear diapers under dry suits. Some disposable diapers include fragrances, lotions or essential oils in order to help mask the scent of a soiled diaper or to protect the skin. Care of disposable diapers is minimal, and primarily consists of keeping them in a dry place before use, with proper disposal in a garbage receptacle upon soiling. Stool is supposed to be deposited in the toilet, but is generally put in the garbage with the rest of the diaper. As a whole establishing Baby Diaper & Sanitary Napkin is one of the project which has good prospect for the entrepreneurs to invest. Crude Rubber Processing - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue

Naturally, rubber is produced by the process of tapping of the plant called Hevea Brasiliensis. The rubber tree is a native of the Amazon River basin in South America. The ideal rubber growing regions should be 8 degree North of Equator, 10 degree South of Equator, and high temperature, altitude not beyond 400m and high humidity. The main use of natural rubber is in automobiles. In developed countries nearly sixty per cent of all rubber consumed is for automobile tyres and tubes. In heavy duty tyres, the major portion of the rubber used is NR. In addition to tyres a modern automobile has more than 300 components made out of rubber. Many of these are processed from NR. Uses of NR in hoses, footwear, battery boxes, foam mattresses, balloons, toys etc., are well known. In addition to this, NR now finds extensive use in soil stabilization, in vibration absorption and in road making. A variety of NR based engineering products are developed for use in these fields. Malaysia and China have 1,237 and 932 thousand hectares under rubber respectively. India has around 687 thousand hectares under rubber plantations. As per the Rubber Board, India now occupies the first rank in terms of productivity at 1,819 kg/ha. China being the fastest growing economy of the world is also the world’s largest natural rubber consuming country. At 3,603 thousand tonnes it consumes 33% of the total rubber consumed over the world. As a whole it is a good project for entrepreneurs for investment.

Dextrose Powder - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue, Plant Layout

Dextrose in food is a simple sugar. It is actually a type of glucose, which is a monosaccharide that is widely found in nature and is used by nearly every living organism as a source of energy at the cellular level. The glucose molecule comes in two molecular forms that are mirror images of one another, and dextrose is one of those forms. Dextrose (or D-Glucose) is a simple hexose mono-saccharide sugar. It is so called because it turns the plane of polarization to the right. Entirely derived from corn it is free from all other sugars and starches, proteins, alcohols and heavy metals. It is the natural form of Glucose. Dextrose is a form of glucose, a monosaccharide, or simple sugar. Glucose is your body's primary fuel, and while your digestive system can break down all the foods that you eat into glucose, carbohydrates provide the most amount of raw materials for glucose. Glucose molecules can occur in two different shapes, known as stereoisomers, and one of those forms is called dextrorotary glucose. It's also known by the chemical name of dextrose monohydrate, or d-glucose for short. The food industry calls this sugar dextrose. The demand for dextrin and dextrose is highly influenced by the growth of the manufacturing sectors mainly textiles, glass, printing ink, food, soft drink, tanning, tobacco and the like. The manufacturing sector has been growing by more than 6% in the past few years. Assuming the past trend will continue in the future, an annual average growth rate of 6% is applied to forecast the future demand by taking the current effective demand as a base. So any new entrants can venture in to this industry. Few Indian Major Players are as under:- Gujarat Ambuja Proteins Ltd. Indian Maize & Chemicals Ltd. K G Gluco Biols Ltd. Tyres for Truck, Lorry, Bus, Car & Cycle - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities

The tyre industry is the largest part of the rubber manufacturing industry, infact it is so large that it is often classed as an industry in its own right. It absorbs well over two thirds of all natural rubber production and almost as large a proportion of synthetic rubber manufacture. In much of the innovation in the wider rubber industry both in terms of material and in terms of manufacturing emanates from the tyre industry. Light vehicle tyre and heavy truck and machinery tyre are both part of the tyre market but differ in their composition and manufacturing process. Hence light vehicle tyres are particularly passenger’s car tyre. Advances in tyre materials, tyre constructions and tyre manufacturing technology have led to new types of products and the development of new market segments. Tyre manufacturing technology has progressed in parallel with tyre construction technology so that tyres are now designed not only to meet specific performance targets, but also to enable improved 'manufacturability', i.e., more efficient, lower cost and more uniform production. It is made up of 40 players with an installed capacity of 57.3 mn tyres. The industry claims a perceptible export market. Like the commercial vehicles and tractor segments, the off take of cars and two-wheelers has been fairly steady. Production in most segments has increased by about 6%. There has been a steady flow of replacement market demand for two-wheeler and car tyres. This and the increase in production of motorcycle tyres have sustained the production of tyres in the two-wheeler segment. Latex is originally defined as the stable dispersion of natural rubber particles in aqueous medium as produced in the rubber tree. They are complex colloid systems containing polymer molecules as major fraction. The polymer may be a homo polymer or co-polymer .Stereo regularity and the complexity of the polymer molecules (linear / branched / cross linked) is maintained in the latex form. Lattices are rubbery or resinous in nature and the rubber molecules can be cross linked. Lattices can be plasticized or oil extended. Lattices have their own mechanical properties and temperature limits of serviceability. Latex is a dispersion of rubber particles in an aqueous phase. Most types of rubber, both natural and synthetic, can be made into a latex form. Latex gets used in specialized applications such as those requiring oil, solvent or flame resistance. Different mixing techniques produce different grades of dispersions i.e. ball milling or ultrasonic’s for fine particle dispersions and simple stirring or colloid milling for coarse dispersions. Latex dipping is used to make thin articles such as gloves, balloons, catheters, bladders; hot water bottles etc and very fine particle dispersions are needed. Coarser particle sized dispersion (slurry) is acceptable for latex foam, used mainly for carpet backing. The following range of additives can be mixed with the latex dispersion or emulsion: It is a worldwide multibillion dollar industry, A steady flow of new plastic materials, production processor & market demands has caused tremendous growth at 15% annually over 35 years.
