MS Barrels (Metal Barrels used in Oil Packaging) - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities

A drum is a cylindrical container used for shipping bulk cargo. Drums can be made of steel, and are generally used for the transportation and storage of liquids. Drums are often certified for shipment of dangerous goods. The construction of drum needs to meet applicable regulations and is usually matched for compatibility with the specific product shipped. Drums are also called barrels in common usage. The drums are typically made of steel with a ribbed outer wall to improve rigidity and for rolling. The lids can be welded or secured with a head gasket and bolt ring. Drums can also be made of durable plastic or paperboard. They are commonly used for transporting oils, fuels, chemicals, and dry goods. The construction and performance of drums used for shipment of dangerous goods or hazardous materials are governed by UN, country, and carrier regulations. The industry manufactures and supplies around 50 lakh 200/210 litre capacity barrels, made of 1mm and 1.25mm thickness CRCA sheet. Availability of steel locally and opening up of the Indian economy resulted in a spurt in demand and consequently, the growth of barrel and drum plants across India accelerated. The largest player in this market, which is made up of about 30 manufacturers, is BalmerLawrie who has a market share of about 45 percent. In addition to high-end barrels, there is a requirement of about 10 million plain uncoated steel drums that are mostly used for packing bitumen and other less sensitive products. There are about 180-200 manufacturers of these low-end metal drums. New entrepreneurs can well venture in this sector. Few Indian Major Players are as under:- Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. Baby Diaper & Sanitary Napkins - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue

A diaper or nappy is a kind of underwear that allows one to defecate or urinate in a discreet manner. When diapers become soiled, they require changing; this process is often performed by a second person such as a parent or caregiver. Diapers are primarily worn by children who are not yet potty trained or experience bed wetting. However, they can also be used by adults with incontinence or in certain circumstances where access to a toilet is unavailable. These can include the elderly, those with a physical or mental disability, and people working in extreme conditions such as astronauts. It is not uncommon for people to wear diapers under dry suits. Some disposable diapers include fragrances, lotions or essential oils in order to help mask the scent of a soiled diaper or to protect the skin. Care of disposable diapers is minimal, and primarily consists of keeping them in a dry place before use, with proper disposal in a garbage receptacle upon soiling. Stool is supposed to be deposited in the toilet, but is generally put in the garbage with the rest of the diaper. Dehydrated Onion

Onion is one of the most important commercial vegetable crops grown in India. Both immature and mature bulbs are used as vegetable and condiment. It contains vitamin B and a trace of vitamin C and also traces of iron and calcium. The outstanding characteristic of onion is its pungency, which is due to a volatile oil known as allyl-propyl disulphide. Onions compared with other fresh vegetable are relatively high in food energy, intermediate in protein content and rich in calcium and riboflavin. The main advantages of dehydrated onions are that they are easy to store, being lighter in weight and smaller in bulk than fresh or other processed onions. They are cheap to pack compared with canned goods. They do not require refrigerated storage as do frozen onions and the contents of a container can be used some time after opening provided they are not dehydrated. The newest dehydration process appears to be a variation on the air-drying process and is based on the principle of vapor pressure differentials, using air circulated around the onions at relatively low temperatures to `sweat' the water from the food. Onion is an important vegetable crop grown in India and forms a part of daily diet in almost all households throughout the year. onion is one of the most important but perishable groups known. It is also used for medical purpose. The global processed food market is estimated at $3.2 trillion. The Indian food market is estimated at $182 billion. Food processing industry in India is growing at 14% annum. In India dehydration of many food products especially vegetables and some fruits are in practices at home and industry level throughout year. The Indian food production is estimated at 500 million tonnes and food processing industry has immense potential. India is a large and growing market for food products as it is growing at about 1.6% annum. Thus, it is a good project for entrepreneurs to invest.

Packaging of Tomato Paste - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue

Tomatoes are the most popular vegetable in the home garden. Tomatoes are widely grown in all parts of the world. They are available in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors—including red, yellow, orange, and pink. Sizes vary from the bite-sized cherry tomatoes to the giant beefsteak varieties. Tomatoes may be round, oblate (fruit are ?attened at the top and bottom), or pear-shaped. Tomatoes are low in calories and a good source of vitamin C and antioxidants. With their rich flavor and mild acidity, tomatoes have worked their way into thousands of recipes. Tomato, like other vegetables/fruits is a perishable commodity and has a shorter shelf life in normal temperature. Therefore, problems are faced in the supply chain due to non-existence of a cold chain system in the country which results in losses of product and drastic price variations. Tomato Paste provides a way out with extremely positive outcome both commercially and financially. Indeed, tomato consumption by the food processing industry revolves around the availability of user friendly intermediate products like tomato paste, puree, ketchup and sauces. The food processing industry has been slated for accelerated growth. It is projected to be a futuristic industry and it is anticipated that, over the years, it will emerge as a leading player in the global markets. As a result, the industry is seen to be witnessing feverish activity. The size of the processed food market is estimated to be over Rs 110 bn and is growing at 10 to 15% per annum. The Rs 4000-bn food market in India has been growing at the rate of 6.5% a year. The Indian middle class spends an estimated around Rs 700 bn annually on food and groceries alone. The ready-to-eat segment is growing faster as technology is improving and so is the lifestyle of the people. Due to demand growth, it is a good project for entrepreneurs to invest & any entrepreneurs venturing into this field will be successful. The epoxy resins have steadily grown in their use in the plastics and related industries due to the variety of forms in which they may be processed. As thermosetting materials, they are cured or cross-linked by the addition of a hardener to the original liquid resin. The repeating molecular structure is attached to terminal molecular groups as curing taken place. Epoxy Resins are now produced in most of the developed countries of the world. But in India, although this item was introduced in late fifties, but indigenous production started in late sixties. The wide and highly useful spectrum of properties exhibited by cured epoxy resins has identified them to be the most superior, unique and extremely versatile synthetic/resins. No other synthetic resins than epoxy resins have got so many extremely useful properties together. The manufacture of epoxy resin has started in the country during late sixties. The existing manufacturer started their production with foreign technical collaboration and as such the technology of manufacture has been well developed in the country; the existing manufacturers are producing quality products, even they are on the verge of starting exports now a days. As such the technical knowhow may be arranged from indigenous source. Paints and varnishes containing epoxy as binders are used primarily for surface protection. The epoxy coating is used in protection against corrosive environments in structural steel works, processing equipment, chemical plant, oil refineries and food processing industries. The analysts forecast the Global Epoxy Resins market to grow at a CAGR of 7.36 percent over the period 2012-2016. One of the key factors contributing to this market growth is the increasing demand for epoxy resins in the emerging economies of Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe. The Global Epoxy Resins market has also been witnessing an increase in product innovation and R&D activities. However, the rise in raw material prices could pose a challenge to the growth of this market. As a whole it is a good project for entrepreneurs for investment.

A syringe is a simple piston pump consisting of a plunger that fits tightly in a tube. The plunger can be pulled and pushed along inside a cylindrical tube (the barrel), allowing the syringe to take in and expel a liquid or gas through an orifice at the open end of the tube. The open end of the syringe may be fitted with a hypodermic needle, a nozzle, or tubing to help direct the flow into and out of the barrel. Disposable Syringes made of plastic Material have been successfully used in medical and pharmaceutical practice for many years. The constantly increasing use of this type Syringe indicates its importance, which is based mainly on the advantages it offers regarding cost and hygienic applications. Disposable syringes commonly are used in modern medicine for the injection of drugs and vaccines or for the extraction of blood. The often are used instead of reusable syringes in an effort to avoid spreading a disease. Among the common uses of disposable syringes are the injecting of insulin by a diabetic person and the administering of a local anesthesia by a dentist. The market for non-premium equipments, appliances and disposables is, however, dominated by the domestic manufacturers, while foreign suppliers and Indian companies with foreign alliances dominate the high-end hi-tech medical equipment and appliances. Market Research Report on Edible Oils in India (Present Status, Future Prospects, Industry Growth Drivers, Demand Scenario, Opportunities, Company Financials, Market Size, Sector Insights, Analysis& Forecasts upto 2017)

Edible oil sector in India is riding high on consumption boom in India. The sector has been witnessing a shift in consumer preferences, on the back of rising health awareness among population, which will be the key benefactor for its growth going ahead. To enable a better understanding of the industry status and prospects, Niir Project Consultancy Services has released a new research report titled ‘Market Research Report on Edible Oils in India (Present Status, Future Prospects, Industry Growth Drivers, Demand Scenario, Opportunities, Company Financials, Market Size, Sector Insights, Analysis & Forecasts upto 2017)’. The report analyzes Indian edible oil sector in profundity by sharing industry vitals like present status, structure, growth drivers, opportunities, demand-supply scenario and financial details of industry players. The report first focuses on the basic details of the industry like its structure and classification and then moves ahead with the growth potential analysis. It captures the future prospects of the industry by scrutinizing demand drivers and existing growth opportunities for edible oils in India. The analysis so established is meticulously expounded and supported by graphical representation and forecasts of key indicators. The report identifies growing population, urbanization, rising incomes and health consciousness as key value drivers that will benefit the industry in the near future. It further talks, in detail, about the present as well as the future demand supply scenario of edible oils in India. India produces a very trivial quantity of edible oils out of its total estimated demand and hence is largely dependent on imports. The demand supply situation in the sector is analyzed in various lights by studying the total consumption of edible oils in the country, per capita consumption, domestic production of edible oils, production of oil seeds and imports of edible oils in India. The report also includes forecasts of the total consumption numbers with respect to changes in the per capita consumption of edible oils. Although India is the largest producer of oilseeds in the world, a lot is left to be done to ensure self-sufficiency in edible oils. It also lists the prevalent excise and customs duty rates on edible oils. The report then moves ahead to give business and financial details of incumbents in the industry which gives a fair view of the competition in the sector. It covers business profiles of companies like K.S Oils Ltd, Adani Wilmar Ltd, Ruchi Soya Industries Ltd and Marico Ltd holding brands like Fortune, Saffola, Sunrich, K S Gold etc. The next segment provides complete financial details of edible players in the country. It covers contact information like address of registered office, director’s name and financial comparison covering balance sheet, profit & loss account and several financial ratios of the players. The report ends with a promising outlook of the sector. The industry has all the triggers in place to ensure a smooth ride in future. The favorable consumer dynamics of Indian market like rising disposable incomes, escalating population, urbanization and fast growing health consciousness among Indian population has kept the industry at high pedestrian. All these factors will be the growth benefactors of edible oils in the near future. Also, although Indian per capita consumption of edible oils is on the rise, yet we still lag behind the developed nations of the world which construes as a massive opportunity for edible oil players. Changing consumer preferences towards healthy oils will fuel the growth in small niche segments which were not explored till now and will send growth ripples across the segments (laterally as well as perpendicularly).
