Animal Feed from Bagasse - Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue, Plant Economics

The demand for food of animal origin is increasing in India due to economic growth, population growth and urbanization, which in turn means greater use of cereals and oilseeds for animal feed. India is going through a livestock revolution. India has one of the largest populations of cattle in the world and ranks number one in milk production. The dairy industry is spread across the whole country and it is growing at an annual growth rate of 5%. Most of the feed comes from grazing although a small portion of concentrate feed containing various feed additives for enhancing milk production is being given to cattle. Most of the feed manufacturers in India make both poultry as well as cattle feed. The demand for usage of cattle feed will grow if the feed is economically viable. The challenge is to make a nutritionally competent feed using low-grade fibrous crop residues, which are mainly by products from other industries along with feed additives. Bolstered by spikes in feed prices and increasing demand from downstream farm supplies wholesalers, the Farm Animal Food Production industry's revenue has increased at an annualized rate of 3.7% to $31.7 billion during the past five years. Global population growth and expansion of developing economies have further boosted demand for meat, requiring greater supply of feeds to match growing production. It is expected that Asia will hold nearly 29% of the animal feed additives market by 2016.

Copper Sulphate is of topical interest in the sense that copper is important metal used in India from ancient times. Copper sulphate is widely used as fungicide in agricultural field. Therefore demand of copper sulphate directly depends upon the usage and development of agriculture in a country. In India, the total installed annual capacity of 43 technical grades of pesticides and fungicide is estimated at 148,000 tonnes. The Indian industry has been focusing on integrated crop management (ICM), increasing exports of genuine pesticides & fungicide and concentrating on farmer-friendly activities. With the global market rising, there are encouraging prospects for the Indian industry. The pesticide industry is targeting a 10% share of global pesticides market and has been working on the ICM program to introduce safer applications, spray devices and crop protection through balanced use of biological and chemical pesticides. The exports cover pesticide intermediates. Pesticides and fungicide exports from India were growing at the rate of 15% and are expected to witness a more accelerated growth. Also, demand of copper sulphate is increasing rapidly for its use as a natural growth stimulant in animals, as well as in prevention of E.coli and listeria. The food-grade Copper Sulfate industry is a $1.2 billion industry growing at approximately 15% per year.

Maize and It’s by Products - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue

Maize is one of the cereal grains which produces throughout India and is placed 3rd position in agricultural base production. The Starch industry in India is poised to rapid strides once again keeping behind the impacts of the global recession during recent years. The target of indigenous production of over 6 million MT will require the Indian Starch industry to increase their production during the next ten years. There are about 17 wet milling units with a crushing capacity of about 3400 MT of maize/day. The average processing capacity of the units in India is 200 MT of maize/day. In case of Starch, as the supply demand gap is about 60% the starch can very easily be marketed in the Country and also Starch and Gluten have good Export Potential as well. India exports these products to Sri Lanka, South East Asian countries, Bangladesh and South Africa. The husk can be sold locally, the steep liquor which produce antibiotics and microbial products and corn oil can be marketed outside the state as there is good demand for it. Hence the maize processing unit if set up in the State, will flourish and catch up the market very easily. There is good domestic market and export potential for maize starch and by-products. New entrepreneurs can well venture into this sector. Few Major Players are named as under: Amaravati Agro Ltd. Bharat Starch Inds. Ltd. E I C L Ltd. Gayatri Bioorganics Ltd. Cattle Feed - Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue, Plant Economics, Cost of Project

The principal feed resources for animal consumption in the country are crop residues like straws of wheat, rice and other cereals and stovers, which are very poor in feed value. Even these are in short supply. Such a situation is bound to aggravate difficulties in the feeding of better producing livestock such as cross breed for early growth, better reproduction and higher milk production. Livestock in the country, therefore, suffer widely from insufficient supply of nutrients. The unconventional agro-industrial by products and forest wastes may find a greater use as livestock feeds in coming years. Cattle feed is a peculiar product consumed mainly by cattle owners of rural area. The benefits of this scientifically prepared cattle feed over traditional feed has become as popular as they should be. The problem is much of replacing unscientific feeding system with scientific feed. India has the largest cattle, buffalo and goat population according to latest census. There are about 200 million cattle, 50 million buffaloes and 90 million goats in the country. Animal husbandry plays an important role in the national life and accounts for about 10% of the national income. Few Major Players are as under:- Advanced Bio-Agro Tech Ltd. Ferroalloys have been developed to improve the properties of steels and alloys by introducing specific alloying elements in desirable quantities in the most feasible technical and economic way. Ferroalloys Plays major role in Steel Production and industrial development. These are iron based alloys with varied elements introduced in steel making to cater to the specific needs. These are specified additions to the production of steel for various applications. It also has application in the field of production of low- carbon steel, for producing low-carbon ferromanganese, for producing low-carbon ferrochrome. The major users of alloy steel are: auto industry, railways, forgings, tubes, springs and other engineering industries. The demand for ferro alloys has been increasing with that of alloy and special steels. There are six leading players and over 30 small producers. The industry has tied up with companies in Europe for technology inputs. Ferro manganese along with Fe-Si, Fe-Cr, is a bulk ferro-alloy. Iron for Farm implements uses up to 1.75% Mn and also in automobile parts. Rice Bran Oil (Solvent Extraction) - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Plant Layout

Rice is an important food crop. Rice bran is a by- product resulting from the processing of rice. It is the main source of rice oil. The majority of available bran continues to be used for animal feeds without being extracted for the oil. Rice oil, also called rice bran oil, has been used extensively in Asian countries. Rice bran oil is extremely light, versatile and delicious. Used to fry, sauté, salad dressings, baking, dipping oils and where ever you use cooking oil. It is amazing cooking oil- light, healthy and also best in taste. The crude bran oil can also be used for manufacture of soap, emulsifiers, fatty acid, plasticisers, cosmetics and tocoferol (vitamin E) etc. India produces about 80 million tonnes of paddy annually. This can yield about 5 million tonnes of rice bran and to the extent of 8 lakhs tonnes of rice bran oil. Production of rice bran oil is currently estimated at about 2 lakhs tonnes and hardly 10-15 per cent of it is of edible grade, although the potential availability is reckoned at about 8 lakhs tonnes. The wide gap between the actual production and the potential availability of rice bran oil is primarily due to the fact that at present around 70 per cent of the paddy produced in the country is processed through huller mills while only 30 percent is processed by modern Sheller mills.
