Business Ideas: Upto 25 Lakhs (Plant and Machinery): Selected Project Profiles for Entrepreneurs, Startups

The most difficulty that people face is choosing a right business idea which can offer high growth opportunity.

You won't spend much time and effort starting up a business to find out later that the concept has an enormous chance of failing that will endlessly hamper your company's progress.

Choosing the right business idea is highly important. You need to pay off your time and labor if you spend years in your business. All that follows is constructed based on a good idea for a company.

It is tough to come up with business concepts that will never work. There is no assurance. It's only confidence.

We at NPCS assist in finding a business idea on which you can trust that you will move ahead. However, you will not know anything until you start working on it, so the NPCS team comes into the picture to help you choose a better business opportunity.

Three steps to choose a business idea:

1. Pursue your dreams

The best choice is to develop or sell something you know and love. Then get in, make your money, and get out. To establish a long-term business that fits your temperament, strengths, and preferred lifestyle, you must like it.

Following your passion has many benefits. For one thing, you'll be more likely to sell something if you truly believe in it. And you'll be more inclined to persevere when the going gets rough.

2. Be Sincere

While creating a business based on your interests and experience is important, it is equally important to create a viable business prospect.

Examine the appropriate market without bloodshed. Is the business you want to start in high demand? Is America or the globe clamoring for this? Assure that your product or service not only meets this opportunity but does it effectively.

3. The Internet should be respected

Determine how to utilize this game-changing resource best. It can let you create a business for less money and faster than ever before.

Aside from knowing or being able to master search engine optimization, establishing an internet business requires little infrastructure and no bricks and mortar.

Remember that the Internet works both ways. While opportunities seem exciting, appealing, and perhaps limitless, rivals are seeing the same vision. That means that no matter what business you select, you will encounter basic marketing difficulties.

Silica Gel Crystal & Beads

Silica gel is an amorphous and porous form of silicon dioxide (silica). Silica xerogel with an average pore size of 2.4 nanometers has a strong affinity for water molecules and is widely used as a desiccant. It is hard and translucent, but considerably softer than massive silica glass or quartz; and remains hard when saturated with water. It is sometimes used in laboratory processes, for example to suppress convection in liquids or prevent settling of suspended particles. Silica xerogel is usually commercialized as coarse granules or beads, a few millimeters in diameter. Some grains may contain small amounts of indicator substance that changes color when they have absorbed some water. Small paper envelopes containing silica xerogel pellets, usually with a "do not eat" warning, are often included in dry food packages to absorb any humidity that might cause spoilage of the food. Silica gel is also used to dry the air in industrial compressed air systems. Air from the compressor discharge flows through a bed of silica gel beads. The silica gel adsorbs moisture from the air, preventing damage at the point of use of the compressed air due to condensation or moisture. The same system is used to dry the compressed air on railway locomotives, where condensation and ice in the brake air pipes can lead to break failure. The global silica gel market is expected to witness growth in light of its increasing application in food & beverage, pharmaceutical, paints & coatings, plastics, and inks & printing industries. It is capable of adsorbing water vapor and is chemically inert & non-toxic which paves its way for use in the aforementioned applications. Asia Pacific (APAC) will remain the most lucrative market for silica gel. The silica gel market in this region is projected to register the highest CAGR through 2030. Scope for the packaging industry in Asia Pacific is rapidly growing, with small and big industries majorly focusing on their logistics. As a whole any entrepreneur can venture in this project without risk and earn profit. Few Indian major players • B A S F India Ltd. • Clariant Chemicals (India) Ltd. • Evonik Catalysts India Pvt. English Willow Cricket Bat

A cricket bat is a specialized piece of equipment used by batsmen in the sport of cricket to hit the ball, typically consisting of a cane handle attached to a flat-fronted willow-wood blade. It may also be used by a batter who is making their ground to avoid a run out, if they hold the bat and touch the ground with it. The length of the bat may be no more than 38 inches (965 mm) and the width no more than 4.25 inches (108 mm). Its use is first mentioned in 1624. Since 1979, a law change stipulated that bats can only be made from wood. The willow used in making bats in Kashmir was brought in by the British, who ruled India, during the 1820s. The industry combines traditional tools with modern technology. Some of the districts where these bats are made in Kashmir are Anantnag, Baramula, and Pahalgam. Traditional Indian cricket bats are made in the regions of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. In Kashmir they are made out of willow found in northern India. Some bats made in Kashmir are of international standards and are/were used by national players in India Sunil Gavaskar, Virender Sehwag and Yuvraj Singh. English willow bats with minor visual defects such as grains which are not perfectly straight, or dis-colourations, are also cheaper. Geoffrey Boycott, former England captain and one of the most successful Test players in history, has stated that such bats will play just as well as better-looking ones and that players ought to buy the cheaper ones to get the same performance at a better price. Further, with projected demand of cricket bats expected to increase to 4 million per annum in the global market by the year 2020, the future of this industry looks very promising because the Kashmir willow comprises about 60 percent of the total bats manufactured in India. Additionally, with a compound growth rate of about 8.4 percent, the potential turnover from the export of this commodity is projected to increase to 100 million per annum in the year 2030. The top cricket bat manufacturers in India. Cricket Bats over the years have faced a massive change. Initially, it had followed two rules. Firstly, it should be a Kashmir willow or an English willow. Secondly, the dimensions will be 956 mm*108mm. But nowadays, the bats are customized according to the needs of the batsmen. Bats have carbon-reinforced fabric polymer down the bat, size of handles are varied, bats weigh less than the bats used in the 1990s, etc. As a whole there is a good scope for new entrepreneur to invest in this business. Adhesive (Fevicol Type)

“Adhesive” as a general term includes cement, mucilage, glue, and paste-terms that are often used interchangeably for any organic material that forms an adhesive bond. Fevicol type adhesives come under the category of synthetic resins and latex adhesives are made from polyvinyl acetate is a thermoplastic, odourless, tasteless, non-toxic, essentially clear and colourless resin. It has a non-crystalline and relatively branched rather than linear structure. Most grades of resin have a somewhat broad molecular weight distribution. They do not melt, but soften over a temperature range. The resin is unaffected by sunlight, ultraviolet light and air, furthermore it will absorb a small amount of water. Polyvinyl acetate is neutral and non-corrosive. Because of their relatively low cost, ready availability, wide compatibility and excellent adhesive characteristics, many polyvinyl acetate resins, solutions and emulsions are treated as commodity items by the adhesives industry. Most of the differences in physical properties among polyvinyl acetate grades are primarily a function of molecular weight. Adhesives are made in various types and may be synthetic or natural. The term synthetic adhesive means the adhesive which is prepared by using synthetic chemicals such as synthetic resin. These adhesive are adaptable to high speed machinery in paper conversion and packaging fields and find place as wood adhesives Polyvinyl acetate is now used in adhesives for various application including the following:- 1. Book Binding. 2. Paper Bags. 3. Milk Car. 4. Drinking Straws. 5. Envelopes. 6. Gummed Tapes. 7. Folding Boxes. 8. Multi - Wall Shipping Bags. 9. Labels, Film and Paper Boards. Use as an emulsion, soluble in water, it is particularly useful for glueing porous materials, particularly for wood, paper and cloth. Over the last few years, the adhesive business has seen global players setting up new capacities in India. With customs duty nearing ASEAN levels, competition will further intensify from imports as well as the low cost local players. Adhesives market in India is projected to cross US$ 1.3 billion by 2025. The market size of all types of adhesives is very large and growing. Of this, the premium products account for some 45%. Quantitatively, the overall market size is growing annually at 11%. Washing Powder

A detergent is a surfactant or a mixture of surfactants with cleansing properties in dilute solutions. These substances are usually alkyl benzene sulfonates, a family of compounds that are similar to soap but are more soluble in hard water, because the polar sulfonate (of detergents) is less likely than the polar carboxylate (of soap) to bind to calcium and other ions found in hard water. Synthetic detergents have expanded rapidly all over the world. Their rapid development has been stimulated by the enormous and fast growth of the international petro-chemical industry. The transition from conventional hard soaps to synthetic detergent has been rapid and irreversible response by consumers. So that to-day, synthetic detergent accounts in most developed and developing countries in the world. To improve detergency of the detergent powders, certain other components were added to it known as builders, synergies, fillers and brighteners etc.? Detergent powder are largely used in the domestic houses, commercial sectors, hotel industries, garment industries and in many other sections of the society. There is high price, medium price and low priced detergent available. There are different kinds of raw material used in the industries for detergent manufacturing. There is large demand of this consumer item. There are renowned organized as well as unorganized private sectors, engaged in this production. The technology, involved in the high priced detergent powder is changed nowadays. But enzymatic process of detergent manufacturing is not economically viable to produce low priced detergent. There is well proved technology available in India. The product is environmentally polluted item. It is necessary to install proper pollution control equipments. Anionic detergents - Typical anionic detergents are alkyl benzene sulfonates. The alkyl benzene portion of these anions is lipophilic and the sulfonate is hydrophilic. Two different varieties have been popularized, those with branched alkyl groups and those with linear alkyl groups. Cationic detergents - Cationic detergents are similar to the anionic ones, with a hydrophilic component, but, instead of the anionic sulfonate group, the cationic surfactants have quaternary ammonium as the polar end. The ammonium sulfate center is positively charged. These are used in the domestic houses and in the industrial for cleaning of garments, utensils etc. It is largely used in the laundries and garment industries. Detergent constitutes about 95 percent of total surfactants some of the important uses of washing powder are in:- • Hand Soaps and Shampoo. • Cleaning and degreasing of metals. • Cleaning of glass and containers. • Washing and treatment of food. • Cleaning of painted surfaces. • Cleaning of painted walls, roofs etc. Detergents, as a constituent of the overall FMCG industry, accounts for a near 12% of the total demand for all FMCG products estimated at over Rs. 530 bn. Detergents, chemically known as alfa olefin sulphonates (AOS) are used as fabric brightening agent, anti-deposition agent, stain remover and as a bleacher. A major input for the production of detergents is a petrochemical, Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB), while soaps rely more on an inorganic chemical, caustic soda, as a major input. Detergents are available as powder, bars and liquids. Bars make up for less than half of the market, while powders have more than a third of the market. Liquids have 12% presence in the market. The bar market is dominated by Hindustan Lever (now Hindustan Unilever - HUL) with a share of over 40% held by its brands - Rin, Wheel, 555, Shakti, OK. The super-premium market, making up for around 10% of the overall detergents market, is dominated by Surf Excel from HUL and Ariel from Proctor & Gamble (P&G). The two together have a near 75% market with the rest coming in from players like Henkel SPIC. In the sub premium segment, Nirma from Nirma Soaps and Wheel from HUL are the major brands with small presence from an array of brands like Trilo, Hipolin, Tide, Key, Chek and others. The detergent market in India is dominated by HUL Nirma is the second largest player with an overall market share of 19%. Nirma is more dominant in the states of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana, that is Northwest India. Nirma has the highest market share of around 40% in Gujarat. Mineral Wool Ceiling Tiles

Ceiling tiles are a type of auxiliary ceiling that hangs below the main (structural) ceiling. Drop ceilings, also known as T-bar ceilings, false ceilings, suspended ceilings, grid ceilings, drop in ceilings, drop out ceilings, or ceiling tiles, are a common choice for both residential and commercial construction. Ceilings allow the installation of a dropped ceiling beneath existing fire sprinklers because the tiles, also known as melt-out ceiling tiles, are heat-sensitive and engineered to fall from the dropped ceiling suspension grid during a fire, allowing the sprinklers to shoot their water. Drop down ceiling tiles can increase the aesthetic appeal of a ceiling because the fire sprinklers are hidden behind the tiles. Drop down ceiling tiles are generally made of vinyl or expanded polystyrene and are available from a range of manufacturers in a variety of sizes and finishes. Profitable Growing Industry of Medical Disposables (Gowns/Drapes)

Doctors and nurses in the operating room use surgical gowns to prevent the transmission of germs and body fluids from the operating staff to the patient, as well as from the patient to the operating staff. Surgical gowns must meet a variety of well-documented performance requirements. Surgical gowns must be disease and infection resistant while also allowing for sufficient mobility. They must allow for adequate mobility while also preventing rubbing, chafing, ripping, and linting. They should fit snugly but not tightly. Because there is generally excess fabric, the gowns must withstand constant pulls on the fabric during normal motions. A surgical drape is a disposable, non-woven covering that is used to cover a patient's region. The surgeon can perform the surgery through a fenestration (an opening) in the drape. Depending on the type of operation, it comes in a variety of sizes. The drapes in each hospital are different. A 15-square-inch drape with a 3-square-inch fenestration could sufficient for an eye operation, but open heart surgery necessitates the largest drape possible, a laparotomy drape that covers the entire body. Surgical drapes keep the operating area clean and free of bacteria. The adhesive tape must attach securely to both the drape material and the patient's skin in order to accomplish this; its performance cannot be affected by the sterilisation procedure or compromised by pre-operative cleaning chemicals. For Surgical Procedures, Gowns and Drapes The market is predicted to grow at a CAGR of 4.42 percent from 2021 to 2028, from USD 2.28 billion in 2020 to USD 3.23 billion in 2028.
