Electric Motors

An electric motor is a device converting electrical energy into mechanical energy (usually a torque). This conversion is usually obtained through the generation of a magnetic field by means of a current flowing into one or more coils. An electric motor turns because of magnetic force exerted between a stationary electromagnet called the stator and a rotating electromagnet called the rotor. Different types of electric motors are distinguished by how electric current is supplied to the moving rotor. Tremendous technological advancements and the need for high efficiency motors are the two factors responsible for the growth of electric motors market in the past few years. Electric motors are widely used in motor vehicles, household appliances, material handling equipment, etc. An unmitigated increase in fuel prices coupled with the need to reduce air pollution has led to an increased preference for electric vehicles in several countries. This, in turn, is expected to upsurge the electric motor market. Premium efficiency motors are expected to gain traction in near future as they are low maintenance, consume low power and have many other unique features as well. Based on type, the AC electric motors are smaller, cheaper and light in weight and are widely used in HVAC equipment. Hence, AC electric motors will dominate the electrical motor market. Thus, due to demand it is a good project for entrepreneurs to invest. Macaroni, Vermicelli, Noodles and Instant Noodles with Tastemaker

Extrusion-technology is gaining increasing popularity in the global agro-food processing industry, particularly in the food and feed sectors. Extrusion cooking technologies are used for cereal and protein processing in food. Noodles and macaroni are a form of pasta that is becoming extremely popular in India even as Continental and Italian delicacy. Instant Noodles, macaroni and vermicelli is prepared by means of an extrusion machine that is basically made of an stainless steel make strips, either flat (rolled and Cut) or Oval round (Extruded). The process is quite simple and requires not much skilled labour. The machine itself is high technology and provides the manufacturers to produce pasta with several alternatives materials (like Maida, Suji, Rava, Rice flour and so on) and in different shapes (like Spaghetti, Fettuccini, Vermicelli, Maccaroni, Fusilli, Penne, etc.) of Pasta and Noodles. Extrusion cooking technology relatively known to our country can provide attractive varieties of snack foods, similar to traditional snack food in different tastes, textures, colours, flavours with better keeping qualities. The product can be made at relatively low cost on mass scale for socially oriented markets, to fill up the gap with practically negligible loss of protein content and excellent amino - acid make - up.As a whole it is a good project for new entrepreneurs to invest. HDPE Pipes

These HDPE pipes and fittings have a high degree of corrosion resistance, are light in weight. Yet tough and durable, have excellent, hydraulic properties, excellent thermal properties, weather ability. High density polyethylene (HDPE) is being used as drainage pipe material because it is lightweight, corrosion resistant, easy to install, and has a low maintenance cost. The design of HDPE corrugated drainage pipe is based on the assumption that the pipe will deform and thus relieve stress. HDPE pipe has been used for decades in non-potable water applications. In particular, HDPE pipes are often preferred for their welded joints. While special equipment is required to form the weld, welding eliminates the need for separate fittings, a common source of leaks and contaminant infiltration. HDPE can be used for hot water as a liner in multilayer pipe, where the strength is provided by another pipe layer, such as aluminium, but multilayer pipes don’t offer all of the performance advantages of plastic alone. Polymers are classified into thermoplastics and thermosetting. The industry has expanded along with expansion of diverse applications areas such as packaging, extrusions, blow mouldings and industrial mouldings for automobiles, telecommunications and white goods. User segments include electrical appliances, domesticware, leatherite, decorative laminates, fittings and fixtures, construction industry (extrusions), automobile components, machinery and equipment, water tanks, pipes and fittings, drink bottles, medical appliances, weather protection. The Indian industry has created enough capacity to export polymers in substantial quantities. In 2006-07, India exported close to 17% of its polymer production. However, import of polymers continues unabated at a growth of 11% (2001-02 to 2006-07) per annum, and makes up for nearly 14% of the domestic consumption. Despite the slowdown, the plastic industry has seen a fairly high growth in 2008-09. As a whole any entrepreneur can venture in this project without risk and earn profit. Wall Paper Starch

Starches are inherently unsuitable for most applications and, therefore, must be modi?ed chemically and/or physically to enhance their positive attributes and/or to minimize their defects. Chemical modi?cation of starch generally involves esteri?cation, etheri?cation or oxidation of the available hydroxyl groups on the B-D-glucopyranosyl units that make up the starch polymers.i Reactions used to produce most commercially modi?ed starches have been reviewed by others. Many commercial derivatives are produced by the addition of reactive, organic reagents to aqueous starch slurries while controlling alkalinity (pH 7–9 for esteri?cation and pH 11–12 for etheri?cation) and temperature (typically 60°C). The wall paper starch is used in the fixing of the wallpaper on the walls. This is implied that this shall be directly connected with construction industry and its opportunities. The demand for starches and derivatives looks very promising in India as all the major user segments of starches and derivatives are showing near double digit growth in their production. The major users of starches and derivatives are food, textile, paper and pharma sectors. Global Modified Starch Market was valued at $7,995 million in 2016, and is projected to reach at $10,700 million by 2023, growing at a CAGR of 4.2% from 2017 to 2023. Modified starch is formed by morphological or physicochemical changes in the structure of native starch via its treatment with heat, acids, alkalis, or enzymes. As a whole entrepreneur can venture in this field will be successful.

Floral Foam (Phenolic Foam) with Resin Manufacturing

Floral Foam is the plastic spongy material that florists use to put their many beautiful flower designs in place. It has effectively replaced the conventional way of arranging flowers which entailed utilizing wet newspaper, twigs, chicken wire and pin holders. Floral foam is available in many shapes and sizes, including square, round and oval as well as small, medium and large. It can typically be found in either green or white colors when used for artificial flower arrangements but other colors can be made as well. Commercial floriculture is increasingly being considered a high remunerative economic activity by small and large farmers across the country and if the sector gets organized, there could be a massive Rs. 10,000 crore business opportunity. It is worthwhile noting that despite India's share in the $ 11 billion global market for flowers and flower products having touched just about 0.65 per cent, the growth potential is large. The foam market size was USD 17.58 Billion in 2016 and is projected to reach USD 22.39 Billion by 2021, at a CAGR of 4.95% from 2016 to 2021. Layer Poultry Farming

Layer poultry farming means raising egg laying poultry birds for the purpose of commercial egg production. Layer chickens are such a special species of hens, which need to be raised from when they are one day old. They start laying eggs commercially from 18-19 weeks of age. They remain laying eggs continuously till their 72-78 weeks of age. They can produce about one kg of eggs by consuming about 2.25 kg of food during their egg laying period. India is third largest egg production and fifth in chicken meat producer in the world. India has a population of 1.2 billion and 50% of India's workforce is in agriculture. The total egg production has increased from 27.33 Billion during 2015-17 (Rainy) to 29.09 Billion during 2016-18 (Rainy) registering a growth 6.42%.
