Absorbent Surgical Cotton (Cotton Rolls)

Surgical cotton is also known as absorbent cotton” or “cotton wool”. Surgical/ Absorbent cotton is cleared de-oiled and bleached cotton packed in different sizes. Since Surgical/Absorbent cotton is a material which comes in direct contact with the human body, its quality is very important and should satisfy the required pharmaceutical parameters. Either virgin cotton or waste cotton can be used as raw material. Comber waste cotton is desirable in case of waste cotton. Surgical/Absorbent cotton is widely used in hospitals, clinics, health centers and pharmacies for medical purposes. It is also used in beauty salons, business organizations and households for various purposes. Surgical/Absorbent cotton is mainly used for sanitary purposes and surgical operations as well as for ordinary daily use. It is also usually needed by women during their menstruation period that reoccurs at least once a month. The demand of Surgical Absorbent Cotton is directly related with the increase in population and expansion of public health services. The demand for Surgical Absorbent Cotton increases with the increase in population and number of hospitals, dispensaries, nursing homes, health care centers etc. The demand for absorbent cotton is directly related with the development and expansion of health facilities in the country. The Federal and Regional Governments have given high attention for expansion of health facilities to increase the coverage. Hence, considering the population growth and the high attention given by the Federal and Regional Governments, the demand for absorbent cotton is assumed to grow by 10%, annually. The demand for absorbent cotton in India is estimated to be about 2 million bales (of 170 kg each) per year. On the other hand, the small scale industries that manufacture absorbent cotton find it difficult to source short staple cotton. For example, the industries in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh are sourcing short staple cotton at high price from Rajasthan or the Northeastern part of India. So there is an imminent need to create an interface and a common platform between Indian cotton farmers as well as absorbent cotton industry. Truck Body Building

A truck or lorry is a motor vehicle designed to transport cargo. Trucks vary greatly in size, power, and configuration; smaller varieties may be mechanically similar to some automobiles. Commercial trucks can be very large and powerful, and may be configured to mount specialized equipment, such as in the case of fire trucks and concrete mixers and suction excavators. Already at 1.31 billion, by 2027 India’s population will be the largest in the world, at over 1.4 billion. Growth means urbanisation, and urbanisation requires ‘stuff’. As small villages develop into large, and as people move from rural to urban locations, so demand for ‘stuff’ will increase. Great news for truck fleets, and the OEMs who supply those stuff-hauling fleets; but the changes to trucking in India over the next decade will be seismic in proportion. Just about the only certainty is that ‘Trucking India’ in 2027 will look very different from its 2017 ancestor. Entrepreneurs who invest in this project will be successful. Synthetic Camphor

Camphor is a waxy, flammable, white or transparent solid with a strong aroma. It is a terpenoid with the chemical formula C10H16O. It is found in the wood of the camphor laurel (Cinnamomumcamphora), a large evergreen tree found in Asia and also of the unrelated kapur tree, a tall timber tree from the same region. This port traded in camphor extracted from laurel trees (Cinnamonum camphora) that were abundant in the region. Even now, the local tribespeople and Indonesians in general refer to aromatic naphthalene balls and moth balls as kapur Barus. Camphor can be produced from alpha-pinene, which is abundant in the oils of coniferous trees and can be distilled from turpentine produced as a side product of chemical pulping. With acetic acid as the solvent and with catalysis by a strong acid, alpha-pinene readily rearranges into camphene, which in turn undergoes Wagner-Meerwein rearrangement into the isobornylcation, which is captured by acetate to give isobornyl acetate. The global market for synthetic camphor is estimated to be valued at US$ 322.3 Mn by the end of 2018 and is expected to reach a market value of US$ 571.6 Mn by the end of 2028, expanding at a CAGR of 5.9% over the forecast period. The global market is anticipated to represent incremental opportunity worth US$ 249.3 Mn between 2018 and 2028. Synthetic camphor is used in production of insecticides such as moth repellants and mosquito repellants. With the rising awareness around the air purifying properties of synthetic camphor, the demand for synthetic camphor powder has seen an upsurge from the downstream producers of synthetic camphor tablets. Synthetic camphor is conventionally prepared from the extracts of the camphor tree. While the one produced using chemical synthesis is known as synthetic camphor. One of the most important raw material employed in the manufacturing of synthetic camphor is turpentine oil. Synthetic camphor involves two grades of products solely differentiated in the terms of its purity. Disposable Nitrile Gloves (Nitrile Examination Hand Gloves)

Disposable Nitrile Gloves (Nitrile Examination Hand Gloves) Nirile gloves are the perfect compromise between latex and vinyl. Nitrile is made from an allergy safe compound that feels a lot like latex but it’s much stronger, costs less, and is more comfortable to wear. Nitrile is perfect for demanding applications, especially cleaning and dishwashing. Nitrile gloves are commonly used as exam gloves, but due to their strength, lend themselves to multiple uses. Nitrile comes in powdered form, sterile, non-sterile and offered at different lengths from wrist to forearm. They are designed for multiple uses that include basic exam room checks, to hazardous materials handling, like working with chemotherapy chemicals. Powder Free Nitrile Gloves are anti-static in behavior, good solvent resistant, odour free, and hence useful in food and dairy industry. Powder-free gloves reduce the cause of allergies by lowering protein and chemical content. Powdered gloves are usually lubricated with cornstarch, which makes them much easier to put on. Cornstarch coatings have replaced other powdering options such as lycopodium powder and talc because these other coating types have been found to irritate tissue. Nevertheless, even cornstarch can impede healing when coming into contact with tissues, so powder-free gloves are often preferred for surgeries and other sensitive procedures. Special Features Latex-free, odour-free and powder-free Can Withstand IPA washing (ISO Propyl Alcohol). Can be used in food industry Ideal for doctors with latex allergy Nitrile gloves are primarily used in the medical sector as a safety tool to prevent the spreading of infection between caretakers and patients. The benefits offered by nitrile gloves include superior strength, longevity, and better protection against bloodborne pathogens. COVID-19 The outbreak of Novel coronavirus disease (now named COVID-19) was initially noticed from a seafood market in Wuhan city in Hubei Province of China in mid-December, 2019, has spread to more than 185 countries/territories worldwide including India. The causative agent for COVID-19, earlier termed provisionally as novel Coronavirus has been officially named as SARS-CoV-2. Mode of transmission There is clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of SARS-CoV-2. It is thought to be transmitted mainly through respiratory droplets that get generated when people cough, sneeze, or exhale. SARS-CoV-2 also gets transmitted by touching, by direct touch and through contaminated surfaces or objects and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes. Healthcare associated infection by SARS-CoV-2 virus has been documented among healthcare workers in many countries. The people most at risk of COVID-19 infection are those who are in close contact with a suspect/confirmed COVID-19 patient or who care for such patients. Nirile Gloves Role When a person touches an object/surface contaminated by COVID-19 infected person, and then touches his own eyes, nose, or mouth, he may get exposed to the virus. Although this is not thought to be a predominant mode of transmission, care should be exercised while handling objects/surface potentially contaminated by suspect/confirmed cases of COVID-19. Nitrile gloves are preferred over latex gloves because they resist chemicals, including certain disinfectants such as chlorine. There is a high rate of allergies to latex and contact allergic dermatitis among health workers. However, if nitrile gloves are not available, latex gloves can be used. Nonpowdered gloves are preferred to powdered gloves. The Global Nitrile Gloves Market is expected to reach USD 3.50 Billion by 2027. Growth in the incidences of epidemic diseases and the subsequent increase in the demand for infection prevention and control utilities are expected to drive the market demand in the forecast period. Asia Pacific market is estimated to witness the fastest growth rate of 6.5% in the nitrile gloves market. This can be chiefly attributed to the growth of the healthcare sector and the food processing industry in the leading countries in this region, especially China, India, and South Korea. Key players of the market are ompanies Ansell, Hartalega Holdings Berhad, Dynarex Corporation, United Glove Inc., Kossan Rubber Industries Ltd., Supermax Corporation Berhad, Rubberex, Adventa Berhad, Kimberly Clark and 3M among others.

Disposable Surgical Face Mask & N95 Masks

A surgical mask is a loose-fitting, disposable mask that’s rectangular in shape. The mask has elastic bands or ties that can be looped behind ears or tied behind head to hold it in place. Which has better bacteria filtration and air permeability while remaining less slippery than woven cloth. The material most commonly used to make them is polypropylene, either 20 or 25 grams per square meter (gsm) in density. Masks can also be made of polystyrene, polycarbonate, polyethylene, or polyester. A properly worn three-ply surgical mask may help block transmission of large-particle microorganisms from droplets, sprays, splatters, and splashes. The mask may also reduce the likelihood of hand-to-face contact. N95 respirators are examples of personal protective equipment that are used to protect the wearer from airborne particles and from liquid contaminating the face. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) also regulate N95 respirators. The 'N95' designation means that when subjected to careful testing, the respirator blocks at least 95 percent of very small (0.3 micron) test particles. If properly fitted, the filtration capabilities of N95 respirators exceed those of face masks. Using face-masks in public is very useful in minimising community transmission and burden of COVID-19, provided their coverage level is high. The masks coverage needed to eliminate COVID-19 decreases if the masks-based intervention is combined with strict social distancing strategy. Even the World Health Organization says wearing a medical mask is “one of the prevention measures to limit spread of certain respiratory diseases, including novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), in affected areas”. Transmission through droplets from coughing and sneezing is one of the major routes of virus spread. When worn correctly, a mask can reduce the risk of inhaling droplets containing the virus. Surgical Mask Market size is forecast to reach $66.70 billion by 2025, growing at a CAGR of 5.76% during the forecast period 2020-2025. Advancements in the field of medical surgery and diagnosis and increase in the number of the medical device manufacturing companies along with the frequent outbreak of epidemics are the major factors driving the growth of the market. Increase in the adoption of surgical mask among general population and the rising advancements in the field of medical surgery is set to further enhance the overall market demand of surgical mask during the forecast period 2020-2025. Surgical mask market top companies are Thea Tex Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., Z Plus Disposable, Medicare Hygiene Limited, Mediblue Health Care Private Limited.,Nexera Medical, Planar Tech, Medline Industries Inc., Plasti Surge Industries Pvt. Ltd tc. The N95 mask market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 13.86% over the forecast period to reach US$2,034.594 million by 2025, increasing from US$933.793 million in 2019. Indian N95 mask market include 3M Company, Honeywell, Prestige Ameritech, Kimberly-Clark, Vega Corporation Co, Alpha Pro Tech, and Makrite among others/
