Peanut Butter - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue, Plant Economics

Peanut butter is not “butter” but butter like product made from ground nut or peanut. It consists essentially of cleaned, graded, blanched, roasted and crushed groundnuts containing about 45 percent of oil and over 25 percent of proteins, being thus a highly nutritive food. Since India occupies the first position both in regard to the area and the production of groundnut, in the world, it is bound to explore all the qualitative values of groundnut, and use it to the maximum. Plant and machinery required for the manufacture of peanut butter are not much sophisticated and can be procured indigenously. The unit can be installed within S.S.I. Limit; hence all the facilities provided by Government of India for S.S.I. Units can be availed, fully. Marketing is no problem for such a cheaper and nutritive food. “Peanut butter is the food prepared by grinding one of the shelled and roasted peanut, to which may be added seasoning and stabilizing ingredients, but such seasoning an stabilizing ingredients do not in the aggregate exceed 10% of the weight of the finished product. To the ground peanuts, cut or chopped, shelled, and roasted peanuts may be added. During processing the oil content of the peanut ingredient may be adjusted by the addition or subtraction of peanut oil. China and India together are the world's leading groundnut producers accounting for nearly 60 percent of the production and 52 percent of the crop area. India cultivates about 7.74 million hectares and produces 7.61 million tonnes of groundnut with the productivity level of 991.8 kg per ha. South Africa is the major producer in Africa, while in Latin America almost one half of the total groundnut produced in that region may be credited to Argentina. Among the developing countries Egypt has the highest productivity and capacity to produce groundnuts. Though India is world’s largest producer of peanuts, however, manufacturing of peanut butter is not a significant activity. So any new entrants can venture in to this industry. Activated Carbon from Coconut Shell

Activated carbon in any form of carbon shows high absorptivity for gases, vapours and colloidal solids in either the gas ion or liquid phase. It is available in many forms such as pellets, granules and in powder form. Activated carbon is very important chemical has wide application and employed by numerous industries which require absorption of certain gases and vapours in purification, in catalytic chemical reactions, decolorisation of vegetable oil and sugar solutions. Activated carbons have a large surface area, liquid phase activated carbons are light in weight, fluffy powder while gas phase activated carbons are hard and are in the form of pellets. Almost any carbonaceous raw material can be used for the manufacture of activated carbon. Wood peat and lignite are commonly used for the decolourizing materials. Bone char made by calcining bones is used in large quantity for sugar refining. Nutshells coal, petroleum coke, and other residues forms are used for absorbent products. There is a considerable scope in India for the manufacture of activated carbon from the cashew nut shells. The global activated carbon industry is estimated to be around 1.1 million metric ton. The U.S is the largest market, which will also pace global growth based on anticipated new federal regulations mandating mercury removal at coal-fired power plants. The activated carbon industry consists of more than 50 units spread countrywide most of which are in small-scale industrial sector (SSI Sector). Of the total number of units in operation, only 10 to 12 units cater to the national market while the other serve the local or regional markets. In general activated carbon is manufactured in the northern region from wood charcoal (mostly made from pinewood) whereas in the southern region, it is made from charcoal of the hard shell of coconut. The total installed capacity of the industry is presently estimated at about 40,000 tons per annum and production is put at around 30-35,000 tons, which includes purified regenerated carbon. Any entrepreneurs venture into this field will be successful.

Restaurant with Microbrewery - Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Trends, Market Research, Survey, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue, Plant Economics, Working Capital Requirement, Plant Layout, Cost of Project

A restaurant is simply a place to have food outside your home. It is smaller in size than a hotel as it does not have accommodation facilities. It is an establishment that serves the customers with prepared food and beverages to order, to be consumed on the premises. The term covers a multiplicity of venues and a diversity of styles of cuisine. The one and only feature of a restaurant is the kind of food and/or beverages it serves to its customers. There are all sorts of restaurants in all cities of the world ranging from budget to very expensive ones where international cuisine is served and the ambience is great. Some restaurants also serve alcoholic drinks for which they obtain a license from the administration. Some are specialized restaurants where a particular cuisine is served such as Chinese, Italian, Thai, Japanese, and so on. Restaurants range from unpretentious lunching or dining places catering to people working nearby, with simple food and fixed menu served in simple settings at low prices, to expensive establishments serving expensive speciality food and wines in a formal setting. In the former case, customers usually wear casual clothing. In the latter case, depending on culture and local traditions, customers might wear semi-casual, semi-formal, or even in rare cases formal wear. Typically, customers sit at tables, their orders are taken by a waiter, who brings the food when it is ready, and the customers pay the bill before leaving. INDIA is one of the world’s largest producers as well as consumers of food. Changing food consumption patterns of India’s population is expected to not only increase consumption volume in absolute terms to US$230 billion but also shift people’s diet qualitatively towards richer, processed foods, which will force increased commodity requirements. We often define warehousing as the storage of goods. Broadly interpreted, this definition includes a wide spectrum of facilities and locations that provide warehousing, including the storage of iron ore in open fields; the storage of finished goods in the production facility; and the storage of raw materials, industrial goods, and finished goods while they are in transport. Warehousing refers to the activities involving storage of goods on a large-scale in a systematic and orderly manner and making them available conveniently when needed. In other words, warehousing means holding or preserving goods in huge quantities from the time of their purchase or production till their actual use or sale. Warehousing is one of the important auxiliaries to trade. It creates time utility by bridging the time gap between production and consumption of goods.Warehousing caters to the storage needs of different types of commodities. In order to meet their requirement various types of warehouses came into existence, which may be classified as follows Private Warehouses, Public Warehouses ,Government Warehouses , Bonded Warehouses , Co-operative Warehouses. Warehousing is costly in terms of human resources and of the facilities and equipments required, and its performance will affect directly on overall supply chain performance. Polyethylene terephthalate or PET (also known as PETE) is one of the most common types of plastic. Most single-serve plastic bottles, including those for water, soft drinks and juices, are made with PET. Designated by the recycling code “1”. PET-bottles have a negative impact on the environments because they are polluting soil, rivers, coastal areas, air when burned and consume a lot of landfill site space. So, it is very necessary to recycle of PET-bottles to saves 65% of the energy for primary PET-production. PET recycling is the process of reprocessing plastic that already has been used before and giving it some new reusable form. Recycled PET is converted into numerous products such as packaging applications (such as new bottles),sheet and film application, strapping, fiber applications. India produces around 500,000 tonnes of PET annually. The overall capacity of the industry is rated at about 650,000 tonnes per year. In the past, PET was subjected to high rates of duty and tax. Now the duty and taxes have been brought to the same levels as other competing materials like PVC, PP (polypropylene) and PE (polyethylene), ensuring a level playing field for PET. A market research study by GBI Research, sees Asia, including India driving the global demand for PET by 2020. India's main producer of PET containers, Pearl Polymers recorded over 6% growth in production and nearly 8.5% growth in sales of PET bottles and jars. Atta is an Indian wheat flour used to make most South Asian flatbreads, such as chapatti, roti, naan and puri. Most atta is milled from hard wheat varieties, also known as durum wheat that comprise 90% of the Indian wheat crop, and is more precisely called durum atta. The purpose of the milling process is to break up the grains of wheat into flour (which comes from the centre of the grain, or endosperm), bran (the skin of the wheat), and pollard (the dusty material created during the grinding process). Whole meal flour is a blend of flour, bran and pollard in the proportions in which they occur in the grain. Wheat flour is used in making chapatti, Puries, Paratha and other roasted cereal based products. Wheat flour is a basic raw material for making Bread, Biscuits Cakes and other bakery products. India, the second largest producer of the food grain, is estimated to have imported 5.2 lakh tonnes of wheat in the year ended March 31, 2016, compared with 52,000 tonnes the year before.Local flour mills are expected to sign more contracts to source wheat from Australia despite them paying a 25% import duty, as demand for better quality grains in India is on the rise, said industry executives.
