Plastic Waste Recycling Plant

Waste is now a global problem, and one that must be addressed in order to solve the world's resource and energy challenges. Plastics are made from limited resources such as petroleum, and huge advances are being made in the development of technologies to recycle plastic waste among other resources. Mechanical recycling methods to make plastic products and feedstock recycling methods that use plastic as a raw material in the chemical industry have been widely adopted, and awareness has also grown recently of the importance of Thermal recycling as a means of using plastics as an energy source to conserve petroleum resources. Plastic, in many applications, can do a better job at a lower cost than other materials. Each plastic should be selected on the basis of its properties. Thus, each plastic is not an answer to all problems. Here in this project report we have considered Ten Plastic materials, out of that major four plastic materials have LDPE, HDPE, PP, Pet bottles and Derlin. Industrial applications like various components for Textiles, Transport Containers, Storage Containers, Bottle crates, Galvanized components for Automobiles and plumbing, woven sacks for packing a variety of products like fertilizers, powdered chemicals, pesticides, etc. sheet lining of Tanks/Vessels for chemicals. Plastic recycling refers to a process that is performed either mechanically or chemically to recover plastic waste from discarded items for production of reusable plastic. The global plastic recycling market has been gaining a steady momentum over the past few years due to the growing awareness about carbon emissions and the need to reduce them. Citing this reason, the report states that the global plastic recycling market, which was valued at US$31.5 bn in 2015 is expected to reach a figure of US$56.8 Bn by 2024. During the forecast period of 2016 and 2024, the global market is expected to progress at a CAGR of 6.9%. The market is witnessing growth due to a growing preference for recycled plastics over virgin plastics as a result of severe pollution caused by the disposal of used plastics in oceans and the scarcity of landfill areas in many countries. Factors such as increasing use of recycled plastics in many new applications in the packaging, automotive and the electrical & electronics industry and many favorable initiatives promoting the use of recycled plastics worldwide offer lucrative opportunities for the growth of the recycled plastics market. Higher cost of recycled plastics. Stringent competition with virgin plastics in terms of performance is a major factor restraining the growth of the market. The ban on import of certain waste plastic scraps to China and irregular collection of the waste plastics for its reprocessing are some of the factors challenging the growth of the global recycled plastics market globally. Hemodialysis Blood Tubing

The Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is increasing in alarming proportion all over the world. In India due to lack of financial resources, lack of trained manpower & infrastructure leads to severe strain on existing health policies in the light of the increasing burden of CKD. Kidneys are probably the only vital organs which can be realistically replaced by artificial means. Maintenance dialysis is a well-recognized modality of treating patients having end stage renal disease. Several thousands of patients all over the world are surviving and achieving reasonable quality of life on maintenance dialysis. In India the first Hemodialysis facility was established in 1961 2 at the CMC Vellore; soon it was started at 3-4 major centers during that decade viz. CMC Vellore, KEM Mumbai, PGI Chandigarh & All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Over the last three decades many more dialysis facilities have been established in Government sector, in Charitable Trust run institutions & by Private Nephrologist. There has been persistent improvement in the numbers & quality of dialysis delivered over this period. Blood Tubing Sets for Hemodialysis designed specifically to connect patient with an external system that extracts blood of the patient to the dialyzer and reverts patient’s blood from the dialyzer. Consists of 2 Parts: Arterial and Venous line which are used during dialysis with attached fistula and dialyzer. Unique chambers are there which reduce foaming, increase air removal and do not trap EPO (Erythropoietin). This helps in ensuring secure machine fit and less incidence of wet out. Sets feature many practical improvements over than other competitor brands, especially as to internationalization of the components. To guarantee much safer and easier to use, sets in many configurations and specifications to meet customers' needs and fit all types of dialyzers and dialysis machines. With strict control over each manufacturing step, from granules formulation to final sterility assurance, ensures that Sunder Sets are of the highest quality. A single hemodialysis session in India with a new dialyzer can cost between 1800 and 3400 (versus 500 dollars in the USA), while a reuse session would cost between 1600 to 2700. The cost of single-use hemodiafiltration would range between 3200 and 4500. If there are no-cost constraints, HDF is a preferred option to conventional HD and most big dialysis units in India are progressively increasing the numbers of HDF machines (Nipro/Fresenius). In Dialysis unit, we have a total of 18 HD machines (14 for negative patients, 3 for hepatitis C patients, and 1 machine for hepatitis B or HIV) and 2 HDF machines. We have budgeted two more HDF machines for the current financial year. Market Trend: As kidney transplant is still an elusive procedure in India, most patients are put on hemodialysis. The driving force for the ever-increasing demand of dialysis equipment is the exponential rate of growth of non-communicable diseases like diabetes , obesity, and hypertension; and the continuous increase in the geriatric population (most likely to suffer from ESRD). India dialysis market was valued at USD 3.1 billion in 2017. The global kidney dialysis equipment market is touted to accumulate USD 16.5 billion at a stupendous 5.7 percent CAGR (compound annual growth rate) during the assessment period (2018–2023). Hemodialysis segment accounted for over 90 percent revenue share in 2017 and is projected to grow over the forthcoming years. In the center, dialysis accounted for more than 70 percent share in 2017. Market challenges: Consistent innovation in the dialysis equipment market is leading to the creation of complex systems that patients and clinicians are having trouble getting accustomed to. The greatest challenge is the lack of instructive training and ease of accessibility of the equipment. Currently, some players in the Indian dialysis equipment market include Fresenius, B Braun, Baxter-Gambro, and Nipro. At present, business in the Indian dialysis market is valued as USD 50.0 billion and is expected to grow further. One of the latest developments in the market is the proposed launch of a portable dialysis system by Medtronic. Such a machine will be easily transportable in rural India and will require less water, less treatment, and less technician expertise. As a whole there is a good scope for new entrepreneur to invest in this business. Few Major Players • Angi Plast Pvt. Ltd. • Fresenius Kabi India Pvt. Set up an Plant Activated Charcoal from Bamboo

Activated charcoal is a type of charcoal that is not graphite and is micro crystalline in nature. It's widely employed in a variety of sectors as an excellent odour or colour adsorbent. There are two types of activated charcoal adsorbents: gas phase and liquid phase. The liquid phase activated charcoal is usually in the form of powder or granules, whereas the gas phase adsorbent is usually hard granules like dust-free pellets. Activated charcoal, also known as active charcoal, is amorphous carbon that has a higher adsorption capacity than wood or animal charcoal. Bamboo charcoal is made from fragments of a bamboo plant that have been harvested after five years or more of growth. Bamboo Charcoal goes through the same Pyrolysis process to become "activated." Raw Bamboo Charcoal and Bamboo Briquette Charcoal are two types of bamboo charcoal. Carbonisation and activation can be used to turn bamboo into charcoal and activated charcoal. The carbonisation process increases carbon content and creates an initial porosity, whereas the activation process improves pore structure. Carbonisation occurs at temperatures between 300 and 400 degrees Celsius. Start Assembling of Lithium Ion Battery (Battery Assembly)

A lithium-ion battery, often known as a Li-ion battery, is a rechargeable battery in which lithium ions flow via an electrolyte from the negative electrode to the positive electrode during discharge and then back again during charging. A lithium-ion battery's positive electrode is constructed of an intercalated lithium compound, while the negative electrode is commonly graphite. With the exception of LFP cells, lithium-ion batteries have a high energy density, no memory effect, and a low self-discharge rate. Either energy or power density can be emphasised in cells. However, because they contain flammable electrolytes, they can pose a safety risk. Which, if damaged or wrongly charged, can result in explosions and flames. • More Compact Design: Li-ion batteries are smaller and lighter than traditional rechargeable batteries when compared to their capacity, and are thus used in portable consumer electronics devices where weight and form factor are important selling points. • Lower Self-discharge and Longer Shelf Life: While compared to other rechargeable batteries, Li-ion batteries have a lower self-discharge rate of about 1.5 percent per month, allowing for a longer shelf life when not in use due to the slower drain. • Fast Charging: Lithium-ion batteries charge faster than other rechargeable batteries including lead acid, nickel-metal hydride, and nickel-cadmium. • Low Maintenance: Lithium-ion batteries do not need to be maintained in order to function properly. • High Open-Circuit Voltage: Due to their chemistry, Li-ion batteries have a higher open-circuit voltage than other batteries such as lead acid, nickel-metal hydride, and nickel-cadmium. From 2021 to 2030, the global lithium-ion battery market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 12.3%, growing from USD 41.1 billion in 2021 to USD 116.6 billion in 2030. The market's growth can be attributed to increased demand for lithium-ion batteries in electric vehicles (EVs) and grid storage, since they offer high-energy density and lightweight solutions. Due to a growth in the registration of electric vehicles and a decrease in the price of lithium-ion batteries, the market size is predicted to grow throughout the forecast period.
