Artificial Sand from Stones and Waste Metals Sand is generally mixed with cement and water form concrete. These sand particles should be hard and inert with respect to cement continuous usages of river sand river beds condition is day by day deteriorating and threatening environmental disaster. This situation has forced the State Government to ban sand mining in many rivers and also to enforce stringent restrictions. This action has resulted deficiencies. This material supply on the other hand the construction industry is in a constant state of flutter these days. Sand is naturally occurring granular material composed of finely divided rock and mineral particles. Sand makes small hills and slopes, sand improves traction in icy or snowy conditions, sand is the principal component in common glass and sand is mixed with cement and sometimes lime to be used in masonry construction. Due to the increase of population and living standards, the demand for this product is multiplying in every year. Present supply of production is meeting only about 20% of the demand; if all the crusher units of the state start manufacturing machine made sand as an additional venture then also it could meet only about 50 to 60% of the requirements. Artificial sand term used for aggregate material less than 4.75mm and which are processed from crushed rocks or gravel. Due to booming of construction activity in our country natural sand resource are increasingly depleted and its cost is becoming increasingly high. Artificial sand has in compressive strength of concrete to compare the cost of different mix composition and to assess the prospect of using artificial sand as replacement of natural sand in India. Demand for artificial sand is good in almost all regions of the country. India is second only to China as one of the largest consumer of sand in the world. Artificial sand market is directly linked to the crushing and screening business. Today, 25,000 tons of artificial sand produced every day. This facilitates the development of new technologies and ensures a high quality product. Commercial Vehicles Dealership, Sale of Commercial Vehicles, Spares, Servicing. A commercial vehicle is any type of motor vehicle used for transporting goods or paid passengers or commercial motor vehicle as any motorized road vehicle that by its type of construction and equipment is designed for and capable of transporting. This means the tanks permanently fixed by the manufacturer to all motor vehicles of the same type as the vehicle in question and whose permanent fitting lets fuel be used directly both for propulsion and where appropriate to power a refrigeration system. India is the fourth-largest commercial vehicle market in the world, and it is also the fifth-largest manufacturer of commercial vehicles. Commercial vehicles can be categorized into Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs), Medium Commercial Vehicles (MCVs) and Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCVs) according to the maximum load they can carry. Stabilized Insoluble Sulfur Insoluble sulfur (IS) is a type of sulfur polymer, which is insoluble in CS2 and is a good rubber vulcanizing agent. There are two types of IS, oil-filled and non-oil-filled. The production of IS usually adopts a high temperature method, which causes the liquid or gas sulfur to spray into cold liquids to obtain IS with a concentration of 30-60wt%. To obtain high concentrations of IS, solvent has been used to extract the soluble sulfur, followed by filling with oil to obtain oil-filled. Insoluble sulfur is an important rubber additive agent. It improves product quality, wear ability and resistance to both fatigue and ageing. In addition to being universally recognized as the best vulcanizing agent, it is widely used in the manufacture of tire, rubber pipe, shoes, cable and wire insulating materials, latex, and all kinds of automobile rubber parts and is also a necessary component of belt tires. Therefore, due to its non-blooming characteristic, insoluble sulfur is widely used in the manufacture of radial rubber and other synthetic rubber products, also in the light-colored rubber products in which common sulfur is incorporated in high proportion. Sulfur is stabilized in a form wholly or partially insoluble in carbon disulphide by incorporating therewith a dixanthogen of the formula where R and R' are each independently an alkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl or aryl group and may be substituted by halogen or alkoxy and n is 2 or 4. The insoluble sulphur can for example be plastic sulfur or white sulfur or substantially wholly insoluble sulphur derived therefrom. The sulphur is particularly useful in the vulcanization of rubber. Insoluble sulphur is primarily used in the rubber industry. Its advantage over ground natural sulphur is that it does not cause bloom, and that it does not dissolve and migrate in rubber. The S8 ring molecules present in soluble sulphur at room temperature open at temperatures above 158 °C, allowing chains of sulphur to combine with one another to form polymeric sulphur. Insoluble sulphur is produced by quenching the polymeric melt at low temperatures, preventing the reversion into S8 rings, leaving the polymer structure meta-stable at room temperature. Insoluble Sulphur is mainly used in tyre industry. The Indian market for Insoluble Sulfur is growing more than the growth rate for the tyre industry due to increasing share of radial tyres in commercial vehicles which consume more Insoluble Sulphur. With the revival of the global economy, the auto sector has picked up significantly resulting in huge demands and huge growth in the auto companies. This has trickled down to the auto ancillary sector and hence the demand for Insoluble Sulphur is growing at a robust pace and this trend is expected to continue in the coming year as new tyre capacities are being added in India. Global Insoluble sulphur market is primarily used in the rubber industry. Global Insoluble Sulfur Market is expected to grow at a significant CAGR in the upcoming years as the scope, product types and its applications are increasing across the globe. Insoluble Sulfur is mainly used in the rubber industry. The advantage over the ground sulfur is that it does not cause blooming and is soluble in rubber. In addition the insoluble sulfur additives can be added to more fully restore the carbon black in the iron and suppress and eliminate the production process of nitrosamines, the protection of the environment plays a significant role. Globally demand for insoluble sulphur is expected to grow at 5.2% CAGR in CY15-20E with demand in India growing at a CAGR of 10%+ due to robust automobile demand & increasing radicalization of tyres particularly in the CV space. Welding Electrodes In welding an electric current is conducted through an electrode which is used to join the parent metals. When you keep electrode tip near the parent metal electric current jumps from the electrode tip to the parent metal. The main purpose of electrodes used in welding is to create an electric. An electrode is used to conduct current through a work piece to fuse two pieces together. Depending upon the process the electrode is either consumable in the case of gas metal arc welding or shielded metal arc welding or non-consumable such as in gas tungsten arc welding. Welding is a fabrication or sculptural process that joins materials, usually metals by causing fusion, which do not melt the base metal. A filler material is typically added to the joint to form a pool of molten material (the weld pool) that cools to form a joint that is usually stronger than the base material. Pressure may also be used in conjunction with heat or by itself to produce a weld. Welding also requires a form of shield to protect the filler metals or melted metals from being contaminated or oxidized. Welding Wires and Welding Electrode is the basic consumable material. In 2023 the consumption of Welding Wires and Welding Electrode is estimated to be 8253 K MT. On product prices the slow downward trend in recent years will maintain in the future. The worldwide market for Welding Wires and Welding Electrode is expected to grow at a CAGR of roughly 2.5% over the next five years will reach 21700 million US$ in 2024, from 18700 million US$ in 2019. The market is majorly driven by growing demand from construction industry. Rapid urbanization and infrastructure development are the key factors propelling the growth of the construction industry which in turn is projected to boost the demand for welding products. Welding technology is extensively used in the construction of pipelines, bridges, buildings, and other engineering projects for infrastructure development. Caffeine from Tea Waste Caffeine belongs to a family of naturally occurring compounds known as xanthines. The xanthine’s, which come from plants, are possibly the oldest known stimulants. Caffeine is widely used in pharmaceuticals as free base and mixtures, such as 'Citrated Caffeine’s caffeine and sodium benzoate. Caffeine is very much used as a stimulant of the central nervous system and also as a diuretic, although its action as a diuretic is weaker than that of the polyline. Caffeine is widely used in pharmaceuticals as free base and mixtures, such as citrated caffeine and sodium benzoate. Tea waste or coffee beans, limewater and trichloroethylene are the starting raw materials for its manufacture. Tea waste contains 3-4 percent caffeine. Caffeine is very useful as stimulant of the central nervous system. It gives definite relief from fatigue and neuralgia. It is also used in headaches originating from eye strains. Its most important physiological action is that on the kidney causing an increased secretion of urine. Caffeine is the principal alkaloid constituent of tea, coffee and some other beverages. As the production of soft drinks increases the demand of caffeine is also likely to increase. Branded pocket teas, instant teas etc. are now the name of the game to boost sales and build up a strong brand loyalty. Tata tea dominates the sector with few foreign big holding in Assam and in the South. There is however no question this industry has a decisive future and a decisive hold on the rest of the plantation and export sectors. There is about 10% demand growth increase per annum. Up to 400 milligrams (mg) of caffeine a day appears to be safe for most healthy adults. That's roughly the amount of caffeine in four cups of brewed coffee, 10 cans of cola or two energy shot drinks. The global caffeine market is predicted to expand at a steady CAGR of around 2.5% by 2022. Aluminium Foil Aluminum foil or tin foil, is a paper-thin, shiny sheet of aluminum metal. It's made by rolling large slabs of aluminum until they are less than 0.2 mm thick. It's used industrially for a variety of purposes, including packing, insulation and transportation. Foil made from a thin leaf of tin was commercially available before its aluminium counterpart. Tin foil is stiffer than aluminium foil. It tends to give a slight tin taste to food wrapped in it, which is a major reason it has largely been replaced by aluminium and other materials for wrapping food. The aluminum foil packaging market is expected to witness a CAGR of 3.27% over the forecast period (2019-2024). The growing demand for ready-to-eat confectioneries and pharmaceutical products is expected to be the primary driver for the household aluminum foil market. One factor which is assisting the growth of the household aluminum foil industry is government regulations toward food safety and quality standards, which influences the manufacturers to develop effective packaging solutions that prevent food contamination. Aluminum pouches are increasingly being used in the food and beverage industry, due to their sturdy nature and offering resistance to dust, moisture, chemicals, and water. The increasing demand for fast-moving consumer goods, coupled with the increasing economy, is expected to lead to the high growth of the market. Aluminum foil is increasingly being merged with flexible films to create lightweight packages. Production of Iodized Table Salt. Manufacturing Opportunities in Iodised Salt.

Production of Iodized Table Salt. Manufacturing Opportunities in Iodised Salt. Iodised salt (also spelled iodized salt) is table salt mixed with a minute amount of various salts of the element iodine. The ingestion of iodine prevents iodine deficiency. Worldwide, iodine deficiency affects about two billion people and is the leading preventable cause of intellectual and developmental disabilities. Deficiency also causes thyroid gland problems, including endemic goiter. In many countries, iodine deficiency is a major public health problem that can be cheaply addressed by purposely adding small amounts of iodine to the sodium chloride salt. Iodine is a micronutrient and dietary mineral that is naturally present in the food supply in some regions, especially near sea coasts, but is generally quite rare in the Earth's crust, since iodine is a so-called heavy element and abundance of chemical elements generally declines with greater atomic mass. Where natural levels of iodine in the soil are low and the iodine is not taken up by vegetables, iodine added to salt provides the small but essential amount of iodine needed by humans. Salt is existent in all animal and vegetable life and is coeval with life itself. It is a basic element in food of any living being. Salt as a chemical is of significant importance. Salt was the name originally given to the residue left by evaporation of sea water. Afterwards the name was employed to include all substances held in solution in sea water. Chemists ultimately extended the name to cover all combinations of an acid and a base. Sodium chloride (NaCl) now called common salt, is an example of the simplest type of chemical salt. Sodium chloride is an essential constituent of the body fluids and is responsible for a number of vital functions in the body. Market Outlook The global Iodized Salt market was million US$ in 2018 and is expected to million US$ by the end of 2025 growing at a CAGR of between 2019 and 2025. The market is dynamic and highly fragmented with the presence of numerous small and domestic players occupying major chunk of the global market share. The flavored salts market is influenced directly by the trends in the food industry, particularly the fast food and meat industries. Flavored salt is no different than regular table salt, except that it contains other herbs and spices to provide more complex flavors. The market is considered a recession-proof market as consumers can use flavored salts for home cooking as well. The market growth is the limitation of downstream market. As large demand of healthy products at home and abroad, many companies began to enter the field. Currently, the Iodate Salt industry is not only begin to transit to Iodate Salt products, while still extend in the resource-rich land and downstream industry chain. Growing malnutrition concerns among children and adults along with increasing demand for nutritious diet will drive fortified salts market growth. Rising health risks due to low consumption of iron, and iodine will fuel production penetration. Increasing occurrence of miscarriages, gestational hypertension and neurological disorders including cretinism among newborns will drive industry growth. Appropriate growth and movement of unborn child is among the key factor fueling demand among women. Globally, industry foresees high demand from iodine owing to its medicinal properties in treating various diseases. Dental hygiene has become a key concern especially among children. 42% of the children aged between 2 to 11 years suffers from dental caries in their primary teeth and 21% in their permanent teeth. Benefits including healing ulcers in the gums, cleans plaque and whitens teeth will stimulate market demand. Due to increasing shortage of iodine in developing countries, growing use of iodine in various applications like X-ray contract media, government initiatives to increase the use of iodine in human nutrition and increase the use of iodine in animal feed additives. Based on source the market has been segmented into Underground Brines, Recycling, Seaweeds and Caliche Ore. The Caliche Ore dominated the market since removal of iodine from caliche is economically possible. Europe & CIS region dominated the market for iodine due to increasing awareness concerning iodine deficiency and implementation of by global organizations such as WHO to make consumption of iodized salts. Furthermore, growing number of cancer patients in France, increasing expenditures by the government in healthcare sector in Germany are other factors leading to increasing consumption of iodine in X-ray contrast media. Such factors are responsible for the large market share of Europe & CIS region. Manufacturing of Propylene Oxide. Investment Opportunities in Chemical Industry.

Manufacturing of Propylene Oxide. Investment Opportunities in Chemical Industry. Propylene oxide is an organic compound with the molecular formula CH3CHCH2O. This colorless volatile liquid with an odor resembling ether, is produced on a large scale industrially. Its major application is its use for the production of polyether polyols for use in making polyurethane plastics. Propylene oxide liquid and vapor are extremely flammable. Vapors may travel long distances and are heavier than air. Vapor may cause flash fire or explosion. Aqueous mixtures with propylene oxide concentrations as low as 0.75% may be flammable. Propylene oxide is used in agriculture as an insecticidal fumigant and sterilant, to control bacteria contamination, moulds contamination, insect infestations, and microbial spoilage of food products as well as to control insects in non-food products. Propylene oxide is also a commercially important industrial chemical finding application as an intermediate for a wide array of products. Propylene Oxide is a synthetic, highly-flammable, volatile, colorless liquid that is soluble in water and miscible with many organic solvents. Propylene oxide is used primarily as a chemical intermediate in the production of polyether’s and propylene glycol. It is also used as a pesticide and a fumigant for the sterilization of packaged foods and plastic medical instruments. Acute inhalation exposure to vapors of this compound can result in respiratory tract irritation, coughing, difficulty in breathing (dyspnea) and buildup of fluid in the lungs (pulmonary edema) that can possibly lead to pneumonia. Inhale high concentrations of the vapors for short time periods may cause headache, motor weakness, The purpose of this bulletin is to disseminate recent information on the potential carcinogenicity of propylene oxide. The chronic effects of this chemical in animals have produced evidence that cancer is associated with exposure to propylene oxide. This bulletin describes of those animal, presents the known human health effects of propylene oxide, and suggests guidelines for minimizing occupational exposures. Propylene oxide at room temperature is a volatile, colorless, highly flammable liquid with a sweet, ether-like odor. The odor threshold for propylene oxide vapor is reported to be 200 parts of propylene oxide per million parts of air (200 ppm) in humans. Uses ? Polyols used for the polyurethane foam (PUF) for the coatings, adhesives and sealants furniture, refrigerator, automotive industries, ? Propylene glycol ethers for the use as solvents in resins, cleaners, waxes paints, inks, and coatings ? Propylene glycols, even for the production of unsaturated polyester resins transportation, automotive, marine industries, and, construction ? Propylene glycols used as solvents in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food ? Propylene glycols is also used in aircraft de-icers and engine coolants ? Butanediol and its related products used for resins and solvents. ? Most propylene oxide is used as an intermediate in the production of polyether polyols for polyurethane foams, and in the production of propylene glycol for unsaturated polyester resins. ? Minor quantities are used for sterilizing medical equipment and for fumigating foodstuffs ? The major use of propylene oxide is in the production of polyether’s (the primary component of polyurethane foams) and propylene glycol. ? Propylene oxide is also used in the fumigation of foodstuffs and plastic medical instruments and in the manufacture of propylene glycol and glycol ethers, as herbicides, as solvents, and in the preparation of lubricants, surfactants, and oil demulsifies Technology Propylene oxide is traditionally made by chlorohydrin and epoxidation routes, but newer technologies based on hydrogen peroxide or cumene hydro peroxide have been commercialized. A significant amount of propylene oxide capacity is still based on the older chlorohydrin process. The plants using this route are often integrated with chlor-akali plants which consume a large amount of power in making chlorine and caustic soda. Consequently, extensive effluent treatment is needed to handle the waste stream. Another process that had once gained in popularity was the propylene oxide /styrene monomer (propylene oxide /SM) route. The disadvantage here, though, is the potential coproduction of 2.25 tonnes of styrene for every tonne of propylene oxide, which can present difficulties in balancing the markets for propylene oxide and styrene. This can lead to volatility over time in performing the operations economically. Capital costs can also be relatively high in the propylene oxide /SM route. A number of propylene oxide /SM plants have been built by companies such as Spain's Repsol, Ellba (Shell/BASF) and Netherlands-based LyondellBasell. New propylene oxide technologies without co-products have now been developed and commercialized, including a cumene hydro peroxidation technology. In addition, a number of companies have developed technologies to make propylene oxide from propylene and hydrogen peroxide a process known as HPPO. Market Outlook Global propylene oxide market is expected to show significant growth of increasing polyurethanes’ demand in various segments including packaging, automotive, footwear, furniture, and construction. Rising use of polyurethanes in sealants, thermal insulators, and flooring materials will drive industry growth over the next seven years. Rising infrastructure spending in China, Malaysia, Singapore, Brazil, India, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar is expected to drive demand over the forecast period. In addition, growing automotive sector in various countries including in China, Mexico, the U.S., and India is expected to increase market. Propylene glycol is widely deployed as a construction chemical for use in paints, grouts, adhesives, waterproofing materials, and coatings, in both infrastructure and the construction industry. A wide-ranging number of propylene glycol applications are anticipated to be an important driver of the propylene oxide market in the days ahead. Another industry that is witnessing a resurgence in recent times is the automotive industry. This should directly benefit the propylene oxide market as the products are utilized in a number of components such as flexible foams, paints, adhesives, and sealants. Thus, it can be said that the propylene oxide market is intrinsically linked to the automotive industry. Propylene is used to produce flexible foams for bedding, furniture, carpet underlay, bedding and seat cushioning in automotive while polyurethanes are used to produce rigid foams for thermal insulation in packaging & commercial refrigeration and construction industry. Toxic nature of propylene oxide, development of alternatives of oxide, negative effects of the product in the environment, and the high price of raw materials will hinder the growth of the market. Propylene oxide finds its application in tub-shower, gasoline tanks, and boat hulls. Rise in the consumption of products that include polyalkylene glycols, propylene glycols, and propylene glycol ethers will propel market expansion. High consumption in lubricants, defoamers, greases, oil-field chemicals, latex paints, wetting agents, and water scavengers will increase the revenue generated by the market. Europe was the largest in terms of Propylene Oxide consumption. However, it is anticipated that it would lose it market share due to the economic crisis and increasing environmental regulations and safety. The propylene oxide market is expected to grow at a CAGR of around 5.9% during of 2019-2024. The increasing infrastructure spending in emerging economies, like China, India, and Brazil is likely to provide opportunities. The increasing use of propylene derivative, polyurethane, in the construction industry, has widely helped the propylene oxide market to have a strong hold in the construction and infrastructure segments. Propylene oxide (CH3CHCH2O) is a colorless volatile liquid. It is an organic compound used in the production of polyether polyols, which in turn is used in the production of polyurethane plastics. Propylene oxide can be produced by hydrochorination or oxidation. Propylene oxide has various applications in automotive and construction industries. Flexible foams, paints, sealants, coolants, car seats brakes, and hydraulic fuels are components which propylene oxide in the automotive industry Also, it is used as a chemical for paints, waterproofing, coatings, adhesives, grouts, and materials. However, availability of substitutes for propylene oxide are restraining growth of the market. In the Middle East & Africa region, growing hotel construction, and public infrastructure have been driving the construction industry in the region. Besides, the residential construction is also strong in North America, due to high housing demand due to growing population demand for homes, and trend of nuclear families, which is further projected to drive the demand for propylene oxide market. Whereas, Europe has been witnessing healthy recovery of construction activities, which is expected to further increase the demand for propylene oxide in the years to come. Hence, all such trends in the global construction industry are expected to positively influence the demand for propylene oxide. Propylene oxide (PO) is a key intermediate in the chemical industry. For instance, PO is mainly used to produce polyether polyols (65%), as well as propene glycol (30%) and propene glycol ethers (4%) (The second and third largest applications, respectively) which are mainly applied to manufacture commercial products such as adhesives, solvents, and foams. The annual worldwide production of PO amounted to 8.06 million tons and will likely go beyond 9.56 million tons and this market is annually growing. Northeast Asia is forecast to remain the major source of new propylene oxide requirements. The Indian Subcontinent will benefit from an even faster demand growth rate, albeit from a much smaller base. Northeast Asia will continue to add capacity at a sustained rate: North America, Southeast Asia, the Indian Subcontinent and Western Europe are also expected to increase their capacity base, but to a much lesser extent. Overall, capacity additions are projected to be greater than consumption growth. Despite some environmental concerns in some countries (the United States, Canada, Japan), MTBE has continued to be an attractive gasoline blend stock as the global demand for octane has increased because of the growth of smaller engines and the low complexity of Chinese refineries. Nevertheless, a recent change in Chinese gasoline policy is expected to alter the MTBE market in the medium term; the country is now aiming to develop an E-10 gasoline, comprising 10% ethanol—thus requiring less MTBE. The number of new PO/TBA plants is therefore expected to gradually slow down over the next five years. There are three main routes to commercial production of propylene oxide—chlorohydrin, peroxidation (PO/SM, PO/TBA), and hydro peroxidation (HPPO and HPCU) processes. While the recent hydro peroxidation processes have gained significant momentum over the past decade, the traditional routes (chlorohydrin, peroxidation) still dominate globally. The majority of new PO production units are now designed to minimize or even avoid coproduct generation, as the marketing of coproducts has presented its own set of challenges for producers. More specifically, styrene markets had been in oversupply for quite some time, leading to limited investment into new PO/SM facilities; PO/SM investments are nevertheless now resuming as the styrene market has recovered following a decade of industry restructuring and asset rationalization. Propylene oxide belongs to the epoxide family of products, and is used principally in the manufacture of polyether polyols, propylene glycols, glycol ethers, and polyalkylene glycols. Overall, propylene oxide consumption is broadly tied to the general economy and has been increasingly linked to emerging countries (China, in particular), where improvements in living standards are driving an increasing use of a wide range of polymers and chemicals. Propylene oxide capacity has increased at an average rate of 3% per year, driven mainly by new developments in Asia. Meanwhile, Propylene oxide consumption has grown at a stronger pace (4.2% per year on average) leading to a tightening of markets and rising average operating rates across the propylene oxide industry. The industry-wide utilization rate was estimated at 93%, up from the 88% recorded five years ago. Key Players ? BASF, ? The Dow Chemical, ? Huntsman International, ? Royal Dutch Shell, ?
