Rice Powder, Puttu and Wheat Powder - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities

Wheat flour is a powder made from the grinding of wheat used for human consumption. More wheat flour is produced than any other flour. Wheat varieties are called "soft" or "weak" if gluten content is low, and are called "hard" or "strong" if they have high gluten content. Hard flour, or bread flour, is high in gluten, with 12% to 14% gluten content, and has elastic toughness that holds its shape well once baked. Rice flour (also rice powder) is a form of flour made from finely milled rice. It is distinct from rice starch, which is usually produced by steeping rice in lye. Rice flour is a particularly good substitute for wheat flour, which causes irritation in the digestive systems of those who are gluten-intolerant. Rice flour is also used as a thickening agent in recipes that are refrigerated or frozen since it inhibits liquid separation. Rice flour may be made from either white rice or brown rice. To make the flour, the husk of rice or paddy is removed and raw rice is obtained, which is then ground to flour. Puttu is a South Indian and Sri Lankan breakfast dish of steamed cylinders of ground rice layered with coconut. It is highly popular in the Indian state of Kerala as well as in many areas of Sri Lanka, where it is also known as puttu. Puttu is served with side dishes such as palm sugar or chickpea curry or banana. India is ranked as the world’s largest producer of a number of agri-products including milk and dairy products and pulses .and the second largest producer of rice, wheat, sugar and cotton. India produces more than 200 million tonnes of different food grains every year. All major grains – rice, wheat, maize, barley and millets like jowar (great millet), bajra (pearl millet) & ragi (finger millet) are produced in the country. About 15 per cent of the annual production of wheat is converted into wheat products. There are 10,000 pulse mills in the country with a milling capacity of 14 million tonnes, milling about 75 per cent of annual pulse production. The country is self sufficient in grain production and is the second largest rice producer in the world with a 20 per cent global share. Primary milling of rice, wheat and pulses is the most important activity in food grains processing. As a whole it is a good project for entrepreneurs for investment. Maize and its By Products (Maize Starch, Modified Starches & Animal Feed)- Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study

Maize and its By Products (Maize Starch, Modified Starches & Animal Feed) Corn starch, corn flour or maize starch is the starch derived from the corn (maize) grain. The starch is obtained from the endosperm of the corn kernel. Corn starch is a popular food ingredient used in thickening sauces or soups, and is used in making corn syrup and other sugars. Starch or amylum is a carbohydrate consisting of a large number of glucose units joined by glycosidic bonds. This polysaccharide is produced by most green plants as an energy store. It is the most common carbohydrate in human diets and is contained in large amounts in such staple foods as potatoes, wheat, maize (corn), rice, and cassava. Starch is processed to produce many of the sugars in processed foods. Dissolving starch in warm water gives wheat paste, which can be used as a thickening, stiffening or gluing agent. The biggest industrial non-food use of starch is as adhesive in the paper making process. Starch can be applied to parts of some garments before ironing, to stiffen them. Maize Starch is a mixture of polysaccharides about 74% amylopectin and 26% amylose. It is a fine White Powder, odorless, taste slight and characteristic and microbiologically suitable as Pharmaceutical grade, useful in Pharmaceutical and Food Industry as a binder, thickener, disintegrating agents in tableting and various formulations. Starch derivative is a growing industry, and with technological advancements taking place, new products are being launched on a regular basis. The various stakeholders in the industry are the raw material suppliers, processors, and the product manufacturers. Starch derivatives are applied in food & beverages, feed, and non-food applications like, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, paper making, bioethanol, and other industrial applications. Asia-Pacific Holds the largest market share in the global starch derivatives market, by geography, and is also estimated to achieve the highest growth rate. Barley Malt - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue, Plant Economics

Barley Malt is germinated cereal grains that have been dried in a process known as "malting". The grains are made to germinate by soaking in water, and are then halted from germinating further by drying with hot air. Malting grains develop the enzymes required to modify the grain's starches into sugars, including the monosaccharide glucose, the disaccharide maltose, the trisaccharide maltotriose, and higher sugars called maltodextrines. Barley Malt also contains small amounts of other sugars, such as sucrose and fructose. Barley Malted grain is used to make beer, whisky, malted shakes, malt vinegar, confections such as Maltesers and Whoppers, flavored drinks such as Horlicks, Ovaltine and Milo, and some baked goods, such as malt loaf, bagels and rich tea biscuits. Malted grain that has been ground into a coarse meal is known as "sweet meal". Various cereals are malted, though barley is the most common. Malting is the process of converting barley or other cereal grains into malt, for use in brewing, distilling, or in foods and takes place in a maltings, sometimes called a malthouse, or a malting floor. Out of the total production of 14.5 lakh MT in the country hardly 10% is used for Malt production. About 5-10% is reportedly used for human consumption and about 4-5% is retained by the farmers as seed. The large quantity of remaining barley is used as feed for the animals. Maize Processing (Glucose, Sorbitol and Oil) - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities

Glucose is a monosaccharide (or simple sugar) also known as grape sugar, blood sugar, or corn sugar, is a very important carbohydrate in biology. The living cell uses it as a source of energy and metabolic intermediate. Glucose is one of the main products of photosynthesis and starts cellular respiration in both prokaryotes (bacteria and archaea) and eukaryotes (animals, plants, fungi, and protists). Sorbitol, also known as glucitol, is a sugar alcohol, which the human body metabolizes slowly. It can be obtained by reduction of glucose, changing the aldehyde group to a hydroxyl group. Most sorbitol is made from corn syrup, but it is also found in apples, pears, peaches, and prunes. It is synthesized by sorbitol-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, and converted to fructose by succinate dehydrogenase and sorbitol dehydrogenase. Succinate dehydrogenase is an enzyme complex that participates in the citric acid cycle. Corn oil (maize oil) is oil extracted from the germ of corn (maize). Its main use is in cooking, where its high smoke point makes refined corn OIL a valuable frying oil. It is also a key ingredient in some margarines. Corn oil is generally less expensive than most other types of vegetable oils. The corn contains corn oil 2.8% by weight. Corn oil is also a feedstock used for biodiesel. Other industrial uses for corn oil include soap, salve, paint, rust proofing for metal surfaces, inks, textiles, nitroglycerin, and insecticides. It is sometimes used as a carrier for drug molecules in pharmaceutical preparations. A large part of the demand for starches arises from the paper, textile, construction and pharmaceutical industries. Their use in foods is growing at a low rate. Thus, due to demand it is a good project for entrepreneurs to invest. Instant Tea - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue, Plant Economics

Tea is cultivated primarily in the Asian countries, and world's largest producers of tea are India, Sri Lanka, and China. The tea plant is similar to the coffee plant, in that it is an evergreen tree or bush which grows chiefly in the tropics or in subtropical regions of the world. Tea plants require regular but moderate rainfall. Uses of Tea Extract • Tea is used as potting mix • Tea is used as vermicompost • Tea is used as compost tea • Tea is used as source of potassium • Tea is used as medium for mushroom cultivation • Tea waste is virtually as rich in effective antioxidants, such as catechins. Black tea is generally prepared by subjecting green tea leaves to various process conditions such as withering, rolling, disintegrating, fermenting, firing etc, during which enzymatic reactions are initiated in the tea leaves and the characteristic aroma, colour and flavour of black tea are developed. Black tea extract is produced by treating black tea leaves with warm water. The extract produced contain soluble tea solids as well as insoluble solids. The insoluble solids are discarded and the supernatant is processed further to recover any left over desirable tea properties such as flavor, aroma etc. Instant tea is not a new concept but somehow or other it has not received as much popularity as instant coffee. In India there are only two manufacturers of instant tea, namely Food Specialities Ltd., and Tata Teas Ltd. Food Specialities has a pilot plant and has not yet started with commercial production. Tata Teas Ltd., has a higher share in the market accounting for almost 70 percent. Any entrepreneur venture into this field will be successful. ? A restaurant is simply a place to have food outside your home. It is smaller in size than a hotel as it does not have accommodation facilities. It is an establishment that serves the customers with prepared food and beverages to order, to be consumed on the premises. The term covers a multiplicity of venues and a diversity of styles of cuisine. The one and only feature of a restaurant is the kind of food and/or beverages it serves to its customers. There are all sorts of restaurants in all cities of the world ranging from budget to very expensive ones where international cuisine is served and the ambience is great. Some restaurants also serve alcoholic drinks for which they obtain a license from the administration. Some are specialized restaurants where a particular cuisine is served such as Chinese, Italian, Thai, Japanese, and so on. Restaurants range from unpretentious lunching or dining places catering to people working nearby, with simple food and fixed menu served in simple settings at low prices, to expensive establishments serving expensive speciality food and wines in a formal setting. In the former case, customers usually wear casual clothing. In the latter case, depending on culture and local traditions, customers might wear semi-casual, semi-formal, or even in rare cases formal wear. Typically, customers sit at tables, their orders are taken by a waiter, who brings the food when it is ready, and the customers pay the bill before leaving. INDIA is one of the world’s largest producers as well as consumers of food. Changing food consumption patterns of India’s population is expected to not only increase consumption volume in absolute terms to US$230 billion but also shift people’s diet qualitatively towards richer, processed foods, which will force increased commodity requirements. The industry players say that they are observing a healthy business growth in the Millennium City and there are areas where the business has observed an exceptional response.
