Agro-Based Industries: Project Opportunities in Jharkhand

PROFILE:

Agro-based industry would mean any activity involved in cultivation, under controlled conditions of agricultural and horticultural crops, including floriculture and cultivation of vegetables and post-harvest operation on all fruits and vegetables. The development of agro-industries has assumed crucial importance in the economic planning and progress of the country. The agro industry is regarded as an extended arm of agriculture. The development of the agro industry can help stabilise and make agriculture more lucrative and create employment opportunities both at the production and marketing stages. The broad-based development of the agro-products industry will improve both the social and physical infrastructure of India. Since it would cause diversification and commercialization of agriculture, it will thus enhance the incomes of farmers and create food surpluses. The state of Jharkhand having diversified agro-climatic conditions is much suited for the development horticulture based economy that has ample scope for its growth.

RESOURCES:

The agro-climatic conditions of the State are conducive for commercial cultivation of large varieties of fruits, vegetables, flowers and medicinal and aromatic plants. Plantation and Horticulture is one of the important sub sectors of Agriculture having ample scope for expansion in the state of Jharkhand. The state of Jharkhand has a total geographical area of 79.7 lakh ha out of which cultivable land is 38 lakh ha. The net irrigated area is only 1.57 lakh ha which is only 8% of the net sown area. The total area occupied for plantation and horticulture crop in the state is about 2.57 lakh hectares. Different kinds of fruits are grown in Jharkhand. The crops grown in Jharkhand are Mango, Litchi, Stone fruit (Peach), Citrus (Lime/Lemon), Awla and Papaya in fruits, Chilli, Turmeric and Ginger in spices, Rose, Marigold, Gerbera, Carnation and Gladiolus among flowers, Lemon grass, Palmarosa and Rosa damascena in aromatic plants, Cashew in Plantation crops. Jharkhand endowed with vast impounded fresh water resources in the form of tank/ponds and reservoirs. The major plantation crops cultivated in the State are cashew nut and coconut. The Board has identified the State as high potential State for coconut cultivation as the average productivity of coconut palm is 36 nuts per palm, which is above the national average of 34 nuts. Cashew nuts popularly known as a gold mine of wastelands is very ideal for cultivation in wastelands and hence there is good potential for cashew cultivation especially in East and West Singhbhum districts. Tea plantation in a small measure has been taken up in Ranchi district, which has a favourable climate for growing tea.

GOVERNMENT POLICIES:

The promotion of Agro-based industries is among the priorities of the State Government. The state has assured supply of fruits & vegetables grown by applying scientific techniques, investment in post harvest and good transport infrastructure. The National Horticulture Mission (NHM) in the Jharkhand State was launched in late 2005-06 initially in 10 districts with main focus on production of planting materials, vegetable seed production, establishment of new gardens, creation of water resources etc. Establishment of new gardens include perennial and non perennial fruits, spices, floriculture, aromatic and medicinal plants. This scheme was 100 % sponsored by Central Govt. during 2005-06 and 2006-07 (Xth Five Year Plan). However, during 2007-08 and onwards (XIth Five Year Plan) this scheme has been implemented in 15 districts with the pattern of assistance as 85:15 by Central Govt. and State Govt. respectively. The Jharkhand government has decided to set up a food park to kick off the development of the food processing sector in the state and attract investors. In general very few small scale food processing industries are present in the state.

Sericulture (Tasar Silk): Project Opportunities in Jharkhand

PROFILE:

Sericulture is an agro-based industry. It involves rearing of silkworms for the production of raw silk, which is the yarn obtained out of cocoons spun by certain species of insects. The major activities of sericulture comprises of food-plant cultivation to feed the silkworms which spin silk cocoons and reeling the cocoons for unwinding the silk filament for value added benefits such as processing and weaving. Silk is a fine strand of fiber that is a solidified secretion produced by certain caterpillars to encase themselves in the form of cocoons. India is second largest producer of silk. Sericulture industry is looking out for the developments of young age silk worm rearing or chawki rearing. Care of silk worms start from the stage of procurement of silk worm eggs from the grainage itself. Silk worm eggs are distributed to the farmers for commercial rearing when active development of embryo is in progress. The important aspect of young silkworm rearing management are a suitable separate rearing house or room, well maintained mulberry garden with assured irrigation facilities. Sericulture has emerged as a virtual lifeline and a profitable employment avenue for villagers in Maoist-affected areas in India's eastern Jharkhand. Under the aegis of the Jharkhand state industrial department, farmers are beginning to rear silkworms.

RESOURCES:

Jharkhand, much like Chattisgarh and Uttaranchal, is endowed with adequate forest cover. These forests are home to two species of trees -Arjuna (Terminalia Arjuna) & Asan (Terminalia Tomentosa) which are breeding ground for the moth which produces the cocoon from which Tasar yarn is reeled. Jharkhand's forest department is also planning to encourage planting of Arjuna trees in place of the traditional Acacia or Eucalyptus trees. Tussar Food plants are available over an area of 9 lakh hectares. The Singhbhum and Santhalpargana regions are the main silk producing centres in the State. The State is promoting this activity through 28 pilot project centres situated in different areas. Each rearer can rear on an average 200 eggs or Disease Free Laying (DFLs) so the annual demand of commercial seed or egg is of 130 lakh. There are three types of seeds or eggs – Nucleus, Basic seed and Basic seed multiplied to commercial seed.

GOVERNMENT RESOURCES:

Tasar culture is a backbone for Tribal development, and the Government of India, through the Central Silk Board and different State Governments have initiated several developmental and welfare measures for the tribal welfare through it. Jharkhand's forest department is also planning to encourage planting of Arjuna trees in place of the traditional Acacia or Eucalyptus trees. Jharkhand Sericulture Development Institute (JSDI) and Jharkhand Silk Technical Development Institute (JSTDI) are being strengthened to give an impetus to this sector. During the year 2010-11, it is proposed to rear 2.35 lakh tasar nucleus DFLs, 16 lakh of tasar basic DFLs and 96 lakh of commercial DFLs through seed and commercial rearers in the State. It is proposed to be benefited 40,000 -50,000 Tasar farmers through Tasar seed production and its rearing during the year.

Steel Industry

PROFILE:

Steel Industry is a booming industry in the whole world. India’s economic growth is contingent upon the growth of the Indian steel industry. Consumption of steel is taken to be an indicator of economic development. While steel continues to have a stronghold in traditional sectors such as construction, housing and ground transportation, special steels are increasingly used in engineering industries such as power generation, petrochemicals and fertilisers. Indian Steel Industry is more than a century old. India has now emerged as the eighth largest producer of steel in the world with a production capacity of 35MT. Almost all varieties of steel is now produced in India. India has also emerged as a net exporter of steel which shows that Indian steel is being increasingly accepted in the global market. The growth of the steel industry in India is also dependant, to a large extent, on the level of consumption of steel in the domestic market. Steel consumption is significant in housing and infrastructure. In recent years the surge in housing industry of India has led to increase in the domestic demand for steel.

RESOURCES:

Jharkhand emerges as hub for steel companies. The state is endowed with deposits of Iron Ores of both, Hematite & Magnetite. The Hematite deposits are mainly located in the West Singhbhum District and have a resource base exceeding 3700 Million Tonnes. These have been explored only in pockets by large industry houses in their lease hold. There is a very good scope of enlarging this resource base by further exploration. The Magnetite Deposits are located in the East Singhbhum, Latehar & Palamu districts. They comprise lenticular ore bodies as well as Schist rocks with 80 to 36% magnetic. The exploration of these bodies is yet to be taken up. The existing steel mills are sourcing their iron ore (Hematite) from West Singhbhum. The Magnetite ore is being used in heavy media coal washeries & paints. Tata Steel's largest plant is located in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, with its recent acquisitions; the company has become a multinational with operations in various countries. If the interest shown by all the companies, big and small, in Jharkhand's iron ore deposits translates into reality, the state will produce more than half the total steel in India. First Iron & steel factory  is located at Jamshedpur and Largest Steel plant in Asia is Bokaro steel plant.

GOVERNMENT POLICIES:

Under the new industrial policy, iron and steel has been made one of the high priority industries. Price and distribution controls have been removed  as well as foreign direct investment up to 100% (under automatic route) has been permitted.  The Trade Policy has also been liberalized and import and export of iron and steel is freely allowed with no quantitative restrictions on import of iron and steel items. Tariffs on various items of iron and steel have drastically come down since 1991-92 levels and the government is committed to bring them down to the international levels.  With the abolishing of price regulation of iron and steel in 92, the steel prices are market determined. The policy devises a multi-pronged strategy to achieve these targets with following focus areas; removal of supply constraints especially availability  of critical inputs like iron ore; improve cost competitiveness by expanding and strengthening the infrastructure in roads, railways, ports and power; increase exports; meet the additional capital requirements by mobilizing financial resources; promote investments by removing  procedural delays. In addition the policy also addresses challenges arising out of environmental concerns, human resource requirements, R&D, volatile steel prices and the secondary sector.

Profitable Business Opportunities in Cold Storage Business. Refrigerated Storage and Warehousing Industry.

Introduction: Since cold storage uses advanced technologies, it is slightly more expensive than standard storage, and most companies use third-party warehousing facilities to meet their warehousing needs. Chillers, cold rooms, pharmaceutical grade cold storage, and refrigerated containers are all examples of cold storage. A cold storage facility may be a good place to store fruits and vegetables, and it can also be used to extend the life of food and avoid spoilage. Foods that have been processed, such as fish and beef, need preservation. Foods and a number of other resources are protected by storage, which prevents microorganism development. Cold Rooms are a smart idea because they keep things much colder than room temperature. Related projects:- Cold storage, Controlled Atmosphere Storage, Multipurpose, Multi-commodity Cold Storage, Food, Vegetables & Fruits Storage, Refrigerated Warehousing, Cold Chain, Industrial cold rooms, Warehouse & Rural Godowns for short term and long term storage A cool store, also known as a cold store, is a large refrigerated room or building used to store products in an atmosphere that is cooler than the ambient temperature. Fruit, vegetables, fish, and meat are examples of products that need refrigeration. Cold stores are often found near shipping ports where goods are imported and exported. Non-living foods are more difficult to maintain because they are vulnerable to spoilage. The issue is preventing decay and putrefaction of dead tissues. Meat and fish products can only be kept for a long time by freezing them and then storing them at temperatures below -15oC. Freezing is only useful for a few fruits and vegetables. However, when it comes to fruits and vegetables, the recommended storage temperature and humidity must be strictly adhered to, as any deviation would have a detrimental impact on the stored product, possibly resulting in its loss. When the world's population grows, so does the market for perishable products like fruits and vegetables? To keep these types of products from spoiling, they must be stored in cold storage facilities. Related Books:- Infrastructure, Hospitality, Medical, Entertainment, Warehouse, Real Estate, Education, Cold Storage, Cold Chain, Controlled Atmosphere Storage & Rural Godowns Benefits of using cold storage The word "cold storage" is used to describe not only the method of storing vegetables and fruits, but also potatoes and fish. Instead, it discusses how they are transported from one place to another. In most countries, export is a big industry. Products such as fish, vegetables, and fruits are exported through oceans on a regular basis. It's also unavoidable for companies to find out the best places to store and ship them. This is where vegetable and fruit cold storage, as well as fish cold storage, come into play. Many businesses would be difficult to run without the assistance of reliable cold storage equipment. Freezers and cold lockers have opened up new business possibilities as well! Cold storage and freezer systems will assist with selecting the appropriate equipment, shipping items around the world, and even properly packaging products. Deeper temperatures are used in fish and meat storage facilities. This is mostly due to the rapid rotting of fish and other meat types. So, if you really want to benefit from your catch, make sure the fish and meat varieties are properly stored. End users must have similar facilities for storing fish for longer periods of time in addition to fish cold storage for shipping. For the most part, lock down freezers are used to store fish. Related Videos:- Cold storage, Cold Chain, Controlled Atmosphere Storage, Refrigerated Warehousing, Warehouse & Rural Godowns, Temperature Controlled Supply Chain Operational Method Cold storage facilities act as a critical connection between farmers and consumers. Cold storages are in high demand due to the rapid growth of the food and related industries. Cold storages are essential binders for extending shelf life, marketing cycles, reducing post-harvest losses, and avoiding transportation issues during peak production periods and preserving quality. Maintaining a sufficiently low temperature is important, as otherwise the produce would suffer from chilling injury. Also, for most perishables, the relative humidity of the storeroom should be kept at 85-90 percent, as anything lower has a negative impact on the produce's quality. There are a number of refrigeration systems and methods, but the most common is the Vapour Compression Refrigeration Method, which has a higher efficiency coefficient than the Vapour Absorption System. The 'Vapor Compression Refrigeration' cycle is also used in the cold storage plant. Cooling is based on the second law of thermodynamics (the Clausius argument for a heat pump). According to the second law, extra energy is required to transfer heat from a low-temperature body to a high-temperature body. Compressor power is the amount of effort or energy required to keep the cooling process going. Market Research; - Market Research Report Marketing Overlook Cold storage is critical for maximizing shelf life, marketing time, eliminating gluts, reducing transportation bottlenecks during peak production periods, and maintaining product quality. As a result, the growth of the cold storage industry plays an important role in reducing perishable product wastage and thus providing remunerative prices to growers. The strict regulations regulating the manufacture and delivery of temperature-sensitive goods have benefited the industry significantly. In addition, increasing automation in refrigerated warehouses is expected to push up demand even further. Cloud technology, robotics, conveyor belts, truck loading automation, and energy management are all examples of warehouse automation. When it comes to shipping and storing temperature-sensitive goods, chilled storage has become an essential aspect of Supply Chain Management (SCM). The Global Cold Storage Market offers a detailed overview of the industry. This report provides a detailed review of key segments, patterns, drivers, constraints, the competitive landscape, and other relevant market factors. The strong demand for cold storage across several countries as a result of increasing international trade, as well as the growth of multinational companies in the retail sector, are the major factors driving the market's growth. The cold storage warehouse industry is one of the brightest lights in the commercial real estate market, beckoning real estate investors to join in on one of the most notable success stories in recent years. Profile- Project Reports & Profiles Government Subsidies: Via various tax exemptions and subsidies, the government has established a range of schemes to promote cold storage and warehousing in India. The Indian government has taken a number of steps to improve and develop the country's cold storage and warehousing industry. This has been accomplished through the introduction of a number of carefully crafted schemes aimed at assisting this industry with all of the requirements necessary for its continued growth, ease of doing business, attracting foreign investors, and thereby expanding its market share in the economy. Several tax breaks and incentives have been given to ensure that this sector expands at the same pace as the rest of the economy. The National Horticulture Board (NHB), National Horticulture Mission (NHM), Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), and Ministry of Food Processing Industry are among the organizations that have earned exemptions and benefits (MoFPI), The Mission for Integrated Growth of Horticulture (MIDH) works alongside the Department of Agriculture and Cooperation to expand and improve the cold storage industry in India with their full and complete cooperation. Thus, the primary goal of these cold storage schemes is to provide an integrated cold chain and preservation infrastructure facility free of any breaks from the farm gate to the final user. Ministry of Food Processing Industry (MoFPI): This scheme offers financial assistance in the form of grant-in-aid to industry players for technical civil works and all qualifying plant and machinery up to a limit of Rs. 10 crore per project. Production of Micronutrients Fertilizer. Most Profitable Industries to Launch Startups.

Introduction: Nutrients are needed for the survival of all living things. Plants, too, require vital nutrients in order to complete their life cycle. Carbon, Hydrogen, and Oxygen are all naturally occurring elements that are not supplied to plants. Major nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium are needed in greater amounts by plants and must be supplied on a regular basis. Calcium, Magnesium, and Sulphur are secondary nutrients that are needed in smaller amounts than main nutrients. Micronutrient Fertilizer is required in very limited amounts by plants and plays an important role in their physiology. Related projects:- Disinfectants, Pesticides, Insecticides, Mosquito Repellents, Destroyers, Phenyl, Fertilizer, Fungicides, Herbicides, Plant Regulator, Plant Growth Regulator, Mixture, Intermediates, Agrochemicals, Bio Stimulate, Growth Activator, Organic Pesticides Zinc [Zn], Boron [Bo], Iron [Fe], Manganese [Mn], Copper [Cu], Molybdenum [Mo], Silicon [Si], Nickel [Ni], Cobalt [Co], and Sodium [Na] are all micronutrients. Plant micronutrients play an important role in flower initiation, fertilization, fruit set, and disease resistance. Sulfates are the most common micronutrient fertilizer sources for Zn, Cu, and Mn, but chelates are the most common Fe source, and borax and sodium molybdate are used for B and Mo, respectively. The soil property that has the greatest effect on micronutrient availability is soil pH, and for all but Mo, the higher the pH, the lower the plant availability. Liming, according to Mo, will potentially avoid deficiencies. Organic matter content, particularly for Cu, oxidation/reduction conditions, especially for Fe and Mn, soil texture, Fe and Al oxide content, and soil moisture conditions are also essential in bioavailability. Uses and Types of Micronutrients: We're all familiar with the basic nutrients for plants: nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium, magnesium, calcium, and sulphur. They're known as macronutrients. However, there is a long list of plant micronutrients that are also important for the health of your plants in far smaller amounts. These micronutrients, such as boron, iron, zinc, and others, not only promote healthy growth, but also aid in the fight against pests and diseases in your garden. Related Books:- Biofertilizer, Biofertiliser, Biogas, Organic Farming, Vermicompost, Vermiculture, Biotechnology Adding organic compost to your garden soil is the safest long-term way to keep it rich in the micronutrients it needs. Compostable materials such as grass clippings, leaves, plant trimmings, and table scraps already contain a variety of micronutrients. Their presence in your compost means that certain micronutrients are returned to the soil. Many regions have increased their use of micronutrients as a result of increased information gained over the last 25 years about plant requirements, sources, and the most successful methods of applying them. Higher crop yields, which are generally the product of higher NPK fertilizer prices, can also result in increased micronutrient requirements. Furthermore, the rapid change in the tropics to higher-analysis fertilizers like urea, triple superphosphate, and ammonium phosphate has reduced the amount of micronutrients added to the soil as fertilizer contaminants. Micronutrients are small amounts of basic elements used by plants. Crop absorption of most micronutrients is less than one pound per acre. Despite this low requirement, if micronutrients are not available, essential plant functions are hampered, resulting in plant abnormalities, reduced growth, and lower yield. In such situations, costly, high-demand crop inputs like nitrogen and water can be squandered. Growers are evaluating all possible obstacles to top grain production, including micronutrient shortages, as a result of higher yields, higher commodity prices, and higher crop input costs. Related project:- Micronutrients Fertilizer Production Process: By simply mixing the process with the right formula, a specific fertilizer grade of mixed micronutrients can be created. Micronutrients are divided into two categories based on their use. The one for foliar spray is different from the one for soil application. Micronutrients are essential for providing healthy nutrition to plants, and a lack of them can limit crop growth. How to Start Phenolic Formaldehyde Resin (PF) Manufacturing Business, Production Process. Profitable Business Ideas

Introduction: Phenolic resin is a synthetic polymer produced by reacting phenol or replacing phenol with formaldehyde. It is known as a thermosetting resin. The most popular forms of phenolic resin are resol resin, novolac resin, and others (bio-phenolic resins, cresol novolac, and formaldehyde-free phenolic resins). Phenolic resins are a type of polymer that is one of the most adaptable materials ever invented. Despite the fact that they were developed at the beginning of the polymer era, they continue to be developed into an increasing range of applications. Phenolic resins are a type of synthetic thermosetting resin. Related project:- Production of Phenolic Formaldehyde Resin The original name for the substance was Bakelite. This plastic, which was essentially the first to be sold commercially, typified the old-style black telephones. A thermosetting amino resin is produced by adding phenol and formaldehyde. Phenol formaldehyde resin was the first true synthetic material. To make phenolic resins, excess formaldehyde (resol) or phenol (phenol) can be used (novolac). Resols are soluble in alcohol, while novolacs are stable at room temperature. Crosslinking is used in all of these processes to make a brittle hard plastic that is resistant to water and biodegradation. Phenol formaldehyde resins were used to make dark-colored moulded plastic products with Cellulose, Wood flour, or mineral powders. Resol phenolic is used in plywood, fabric sizing, leather processing, paper strengthening, foams, and chemical resistant coatings. Novolacs is used to produce fibres, adhesives, manufactured components, circuit boards, and mechanical fittings. The other big form of phenolic resin is novolak. In this process, excess phenol and an acid catalyst are used. The resulting thermoplastic is usually ground into a powder, mixed with a filler, and then used in heated and pressurised moulds. Heat-resistant products such as refrigerator and cookware handles and knobs, as well as electrical connectors, commonly use them. Uses of Phenolic Formaldehyde Resin: In a number of industries, phenol formaldehyde is used. Circuit boards, such as PCBs and other printed circuit boards, are mainly made with phenolic resins. Phenolic resins are used in a variety of products, including caps, handles, keys, radio cabinets, furniture, knobs, vacuum cleaners, cameras, ash trays, and engine ignition equipment. It's also used to produce laminated items. Fabric, paper, wood veneers, and other materials impregnated with phenolic resins include laminated sheets, sticks, and tubes, among other materials with widely varying properties. Related Books:- Synthetic Resins, Alkyd, Phenolic Resins Phenolic resin is used to make building panels, gears, and bearings, chemical equipment, air plane parts, clutch and brake linings, and jigs and dies. Casting and potting resins are made from phenolic resins in various ways when it comes to Cast Resins. Molded objects such as radio and television parts, combs, fountain pen barrels, and phonograph records, among other things, are made with them. 1. Decorative laminates, wall coverings, and other related things are made with them. 2. They're used in the manufacture of electrical components such as switches and connectors. 3. They are impregnated into fabrics, wood, and paper. 4. They're used as a bonding adhesive for laminated wooden planks and in varnishes and lacquers. 5. Sulphonated phenol-formaldehyde resins are used as ion-exchange resins. Production Process: The raw material storage room is raided for phenol and formaldehyde. First, a vacuum is formed in the reactor kettle, and then the phenol is charged. Until adding the phenol, a vacuum is produced and cooling water is turned on. All of the starting materials for phenol and formaldehyde are derived from fossil fuels. Related Videos:- Plastics Projects As a result, the scarcity of phenol and formaldehyde for resol production will be harmed by the depletion of fossil fuel resources. Apart from the depletion of fossil fuel resources, environmental concerns such as global warming are also a major concern. As a result, choosing safe and environmentally responsible raw materials for the manufacture of phenol-formaldehyde adhesives is critical. Phenol/formaldehyde resins, which are used to create high-pressure laminates, are generally made by reacting phenol and formaldehyde with an alkaline catalyst like sodium hydroxide. Modifying phenol-formaldehyde resins to boost the properties of adhesive formulations based on them (lower viscosity, higher viability, initial strength gain, etc.) Increased elasticity, heat resistance, vibration resistance, and stickiness of the adhesive; lower cost of ready-glue) and to enhance the consistency of glued-wood materials by decreasing the content of harmful substances in the adhesive and their emission. Market outlook: The phenolic resin market is primarily driven by the rising automotive industry. The main constraint to the growth of the phenolic resin market is environmental legislation regarding formaldehyde emissions. Manufacturers of phenolic resins have benefited from the adoption of modern nanotechnology. The global phenolic resins market is segmented into novolac resins, resol resins, and other types of resins. The key product class of phenolic resins is resol resins, which are manufactured under basic conditions with excess formaldehyde. The thermosetting plastics known as phenolic resin have a wide variety of applications. These plastics are solid, have a high thermal resistance, and are fire-resistant. There are two types of resin on the market: Related Projects:- Plastics, Polymers and Resins, Polypropylene (PP), Polystyrene (PS), Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), Polyethylene terephthalate (PET), Polyester, PA, Poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC), Polyurethanes (PU), Polycarbonate (PC), Polyethylene (PE)Projects • Resol Resin and • Novolac Resin. • There are others Resol resin is classified as liquid or solid depending on its form. Wood adhesives, moulding, insulation, laminates, paper impregnation, coatings, and other applications are among the phenolic resin industry application segments. The use of phenolic resins in wood adhesives provides excellent water, moisture, and weather resistance, making it attractive in the construction industry. Business Plans for Startup a Production of Toughened Glass Best Investment Opportunities & Ideas in Glass Sector

Introduction: Toughened glass, also known as safety glass or tempered glass, is ordinary float glass that has been made force-resistant, making it six times more difficult to crack than regular glass panes. Furthermore, due to stress patterns inside the glass, if the glass does crack, it will break into small, blunt, cube-shaped pieces. In a nutshell, no one is harmed. Toughened glass, also known as tempered glass, is glass that has been strengthened by controlled thermal treatment. It's four times as solid as regular annealed glass. Toughened glass is made from annealed glass that has been rapidly cooled after being heated to approximately 6500C. The treatment produces different ph levels due to the increased heat treatment and rapid cooling of the glass. As a result, there is more compressive force on the surface and the glass's bending power improves. The glass must be cut to size or pressed to form before toughening. Related Projects: Toughened Glass Toughened glass is more thermally resistant than regular glass. The glass is subjected to extreme stress, which increases its intensity. This glass is manufactured using the thermal tempering process, which involves heating annealed glass to at least 720 degrees and cooling it quickly after it reaches that temperature. As a result, the glass becomes solid and strained. Uses of Toughened glass: Tempered glass is used in a range of applications, such as passenger vehicle windows, shower doors, aquariums, architectural glass doors and tables, refrigerator trays, cell phone screen protectors, bulletproof glass parts, diving masks, and plates and cookware, due to its protection and power. Tempered glass is also used in buildings for unframed assemblies (such as frameless glass doors), structurally loaded applications, and any other device where a human effect may be harmful. Some skylights, glass installed near doorways and stairways, wide windows, windows that reach close to floor level, sliding doors, elevators, fire department access panels, and glass installed near swimming pools are all examples of situations where tempered or laminated glass is required by building codes in the United States. Related Books: Minerals & Mineral Processing, Glass and Ceramics Toughened glass is commonly used for balcony doors, windows, facades, shower doors, bathroom doors, exhibition areas, and exhibits, among other applications. Tempered glass is used to make doors and windows for high-end industrial structures. Toughen glass is also used in construction projects. Toughened glass is used for frameless shower doors, glass shelves, and large fixed windows. Manufacturing Process: A thermal tempering process may be used to create tempered or toughened glass from annealed glass. The glass is mounted on a roller table and passed through a furnace that heats it to about 620 °C (1,148 °F), well above its transition temperature of 564 °C (1,047 °F). The glass is then quickly cooled using forced air draughts, with the inner portion of the glass remaining free to flow for a brief period of time. Through ion exchange of the sodium ions in the glass surface with potassium ions (which are 30 percent larger) in a bath of molten potassium nitrate, an alternative chemical toughening solution involves pressing a surface layer of glass at least 0.1 mm thick into compression. Chemical toughening, as opposed to thermal tempering, increases hardness and can be used on complex-shaped glass pieces. Nickel-sulfide, calcium oxide, silicon dioxide, and sodium oxide are among the major raw materials used in the production of this product. Volatility in raw material costs as a result of increased use in the construction and automotive industries could jeopardize industry profitability and affect the price of tempered glass. Toughened glass is annealed glass that has been subjected to a thermal tempering process. Related Videos: Glass, Flat Glass, Art Glass, Hollow Glass, Automotive Glass, Optical Glass, glass processing line, Glassware Industry A sheet of annealed glass is heated to above its "annealing point" of 600°C, then quickly cooled while the innards are removed. Different cooling rates cause different physical properties in the surface and inside of the glass, resulting in compressive stresses in the surface balanced by tensile stresses in the body of the glass. Toughened glass' improved mechanical resistance to breakage is due to these counteracting stresses, which also cause it to break into small, normal, usually square pieces rather than long, dangerous shards that are much more likely to cause injuries. Toughened glass is often more resistant to breaking as a result of stresses induced by temperature changes. Market Outlook: The Global Toughened Glass Consumption Market has been rising at a faster rate with strong growth rates over the last few years, and it is expected to expand significantly in the future. The demand for toughened glass is one of the markets in which investors have shown a lot of interest. Books: - BOOKS & DATABASES The global Tempered Glass Market is partially consolidated, with a few major players controlling a sizable portion of the market. The demand is driven by the increased use of tempered glass in the automotive and construction industries. Single, double, and triple pane tempered glass are available. Its application scope in the greenhouse sector is expanding, as it provides four to six times more shatter resistance than annealed varieties, which should boost tempered glass demand. Increased public awareness of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly construction would also aid the industry's development. Market Research: - Market Research Report Any glass that has been reheated and treated to the point where it is tenacious enough to withstand any collision is referred to as tempered glass. Want to Start Business of Baby Diaper (T-shape and Pull-up Pants)? Profitable Business Ideas for You

Introduction: In today's world, baby diapers are a great comfort. A baby diaper is a more sophisticated version of a nappy made of cotton and absorbent material that absorbs the waste material of the baby without making him feel wet after passing discharges. It keeps the baby's delicate skin dry and moisturized. It often lessens the incidence of rashes on the baby's face. Parents all over the world use baby diapers safely every day. Plastic outer skirts, ill-fitting terry cloth inners, and chronically wet skin for babies and infants are long gone. Disposable diapers are light, lightweight, absorbent, leak-proof, and simple to use today. The softness, lightness, and ‘breathability' of the fabrics used in baby diapers make them very easy to wear. Related Project: - DISPOSABLE BABY DIAPER Benefits of Using Baby Diaper: The primary goal of using a Baby diaper is to contain the moisture from the baby's faeces so that the baby does not get fussy or wake up due to the dampness. When a baby may engage in long-term activities while remaining flexible and relaxed, as well as sleep through the night, it benefits their growth and long-term physical and mental health. When your baby starts wriggling or rolling over during diaper changes to get away from you, any change can become a war of wills (which the smaller, cuter and chubbier one usually wins). Tape diapers easily become a setback until your baby is ready for potty training because they need your involvement to put on and take off. Tape diapers can sag or flip open on one side as a result of an older baby's vigorous playtime routine. Parents should change the tape under the baby's navel as needed for newborns whose umbilical cords have not yet fallen off. Books: - BOOKS & DATABASES Diapers for newborns now feature a soft touch surface that is gentle on the baby's delicate skin, as well as a unique curved waistband shape. The baby's navel region is well shielded from friction, so parents can rest easy. Manufacturing Process: An absorbent pad is sandwiched between two sheets of nonwoven fabric in a baby diaper. The nonwoven fabric gives the diaper a comfortable shape and helps avoid leakage. The absorbent pad is vacuum-formed first, then attached to a permeable top sheet and impermeable bottom sheet in a multi-step process. Heat or ultrasonic vibrations are used to seal the components together. Elastic fibres are added to the sheets to gather the diaper's edges into the correct form, ensuring that it fits snugly around the legs and crotch of an infant. The disposable diaper can hold body fluids that move through the permeable top sheet and are absorbed into the pad when properly equipped. Related Videos: - Sanitary Napkins, Baby and Adult Diapers, Feminine Hygiene Products, Sanitary Pads, Sanitary Towel, Menstrual Pad, Maxi Pad The majority of the methods used to monitor the consistency of Baby diapers are related to the absorbency of the product. One important factor to consider is the polymer/fiber ratio in the absorbent pad. The diaper's ability to absorb moisture would be harmed if there is too much variation. To integrate absorbent polymers into the pad, at least two methods have been used. One approach involves injecting the polymer into the same feedstock that supplies the fibres. This method produces a pad with an even distribution of absorbent polymer over its length, width, and thickness. Marketing Outlook The global baby diapers market was estimated at $52.6 billion in 2019 and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.0 percent to $68.3 billion by 2027. With shifting consumer tastes, the baby diaper market has become increasingly complex. Diaper fabric, absorption capabilities, and unique user-friendly features have all improved in recent years, allowing rivals to gain market share. Manufacturers are being forced to produce bio-based disposable diapers in response to the demand for natural and hygienic goods, which is expected to drive consumer demand. Market Research: - Market Research Report The region's dominance in the global diaper industry can be attributed to the region's growing population, which is due to high birth and fertility rates as well as longer life expectancy, as well as the rising number of adult incontinence patients. Other factors driving up diaper demand in the area include increased knowledge of baby hygiene and less reservations about using adult diapers. Disposable Baby diapers are likely to be favored by parents over other forms of diapers such as cloth, training nappy, and others due to their ease of use and comfort. Companies are concentrating on disposable diaper recycling as well as designing disposable diapers. Leading businesses are designing plants that recycle disposable diapers as part of a variety of initiatives. Hypermarkets/supermarkets, convenience stores, pharmacies/drug stores, online distribution channels, and others make up the baby diaper sector. Business & Investment Opportunity in Manufacturing of Glucose Saline. IV fluids Used in Hospitals, Nursing Homes

Introduction: IV fluids are almost universally administered to patients undergoing major operations, where they meet the need to retain intravascular volume at a time when it may be exhausted due to preoperative fasting, surgical blood loss, evaporation, urinary excretion, Anesthesia-induced vasodilation, fluid loss into the third room, and inflammatory mediator-induced albumin transcapillary leak Water, sugar, and salt are all essential for the body to work properly. Intravenous fluids (also known as 'IV' fluids) are liquids that are supplied to replace water, sugar, and salt that you may need if you are sick or undergoing surgery and are unable to eat or drink. IV fluids are injected directly into a vein with a drip. Related Project: GLUCOSE SALINE Intravenous therapy (also known as IV therapy) is a surgical procedure that involves injecting fluids, drugs, and nutrients into a patient's vein. Intravenous administration is widely used to rehydrate or provide nutrients to those who are unable to absorb food or water through their mouth. Since drugs and fluid replacement are delivered directly into the circulatory system and therefore easily spread, the intravenous route is the quickest way to administer them in the body. As a result, intravenous administration is often used for the administration of certain recreational drugs. Many therapies are given as a "bolus," or one-time injection, but they can also be given as an infusion or drip over time. Intravenous treatment administration or the placement of an intravenous line ("IV line") for later use is a technique that can only be done by a trained physician. Uses of Glucose Saline: In clinical medicine, intravenous solutions are often used to replace and maintain body fluids. In general, intravenous fluids are used as I.V drips for patients in nursing homes and hospitals that are dehydrated or have severe disabling conditions. Related Videos: Pharmaceutical, Drugs, Fine Chemicals, Bulk Drug Intermediates, Pharmaceutical Drugs, Pharma Drug Ingredients Intermediates, Pharmaceutical Bulk Drugs The body fluids are replanished with these intravenous fluids. Intravenous fluids (often abbreviated as 'IV' fluids) are liquids provided to replace water, sugar, and salt that you may need if you are sick or undergoing surgery and are unable to eat or drink normally. IV fluids are injected directly into a vein with a drip. IV rehydration was once a common method for athletes. Unless there is a medical exception, the World Anti-Doping Agency bans intravenous injections of more than 100mL every 12 hours. In addition to the risks associated with IV treatment, the US Anti-Doping Agency notes that "IVs can be used to change blood test outcomes." Related Books: Pharmaceutical, Drugs, Proteins Technology Handbooks Cover urine test results (by dilution) or administer banned substances in a way that would be removed from the body more easily in order to beat an anti-doping test (such as hematocrit when EPO or blood doping is used). Market Outlook: There are many varieties of intravenous solutions on the market, including isotonic, hypertonic, and hypotonic. Isotonic solutions are made up of normal saline (0.9 NaCl) and are used to substitute extracellular fluid in the treatment of hypernatremia. As electrolyte replenishers, hypotonic intravenous solutions of 0.45 percent NaCl are used. Increased prevalence of chronic and acute diseases, rise in the geriatric population, increase in strategic alliances between manufacturers to expand their product range and geographical presence, expansion in the pharmaceutical industry are all major drivers of the global intravenous solutions market. Market Research: - Market Research Report A rise in the demand for intravenous solutions in developed economies, as well as an increase in health-care spending however, the global intravenous solution market is expected to be restrained by factors such as a strict regulatory environment and high fluid maintenance costs. In the global economy, the intravenous (IV) solution market was rapidly growing and achieving a high market value.
