Best Business Opportunities in Congo, Africa - Identification and Selection of right Project, Thrust areas for Investment, Industry Startup and Entrepreneurship Projects

What are the Natural Resources in the Congo

The Republic of Congo has a huge hydroelectric power potential. In 2006, it committed to a $9 billion project with Tri-Star Power of the United States to build a dam on the Sangha River, necessitating the clearing of 40 square miles (103 km2) of rainforest and the relocation of hundreds of people. Residents are opposed to the project, thus it has been put on hold. There is also the possibility of mining, as the country has resources worth an estimated US$24 trillion, including copper, cobalt, diamonds, gold, and uranium. These resources are largely underutilised. The majority of Congolese exports are basic products such as timber, coffee, and cocoa.Bean

What are the Business Opportunities in Congo?

The Congo, while not the first place that comes to mind when considering where to start a business, provides some unique chances for small businesses. The prices are low, and the taxes are low, yet there are still lots of prospective customers and business prospects to be discovered. Consider the Congo if you're considering investing in another country; here's why it might be the perfect choice for your company. Congo has attracted foreign investors due to a number of factors, including its favourable geographic location. The Democratic Republic of Congo is situated at a major crossroads for land, sea, and air travel. As a result, it has become a vital transportation corridor connecting Europe and Asia on one side and Africa on the other. It also has a lot of natural resources, such as gold.coltan and diamonds (used to make cell phones). There are various human resources accessible in addition to abundant natural resources: There are 45 million people living here. Congolese people are highly-educated and multilingual, speaking French as well as at least two native languages—Swahili or Lingala—and, in certain cases, English.

What Businesses are Successful in Congo?

The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has a population of 68 million people and is one of Africa's largest and fastest-growing economies. With more than 80% of the population living on less than $1 a day, but vast mineral riches and a well-educated workforce, now is a wonderful time to invest in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In recent years, substantial efforts have been made to upgrade infrastructure, including roads and trains. For corporations prepared to take a chance, investing here may be tremendously beneficial. Human capital is also abundant in the country. More over 90% of Congolese are literate, with 50% having finished high school. Due to low pay and high unemployment rates in metropolitan regions, it is simpler to recruit skilled people, who are typically relatively inexpensive. Thecoltan and diamonds (used to make cell phones). There are various human resources accessible in addition to abundant natural resources: There are 45 million people living here. Congolese people are highly-educated and multilingual, speaking French as well as at least two native languages—Swahili or Lingala—and, in certain cases, English.

Business-Friendly Policies and Government Initiatives;

The Congolese government has been attempting to make conducting business easier for its residents and investors by introducing a slew of legislation that streamline procedures for public-private partnerships (PPPs). This is a significant step in attracting investors interested in PPPs as a way to fund infrastructure projects.

Congo Industrial Infrastructure

The government is focusing on industrial development in order to enhance infrastructure and build a stronger economy. Free trade zones have also been established by the government in Boma, Matadi, and Lubumbashi. Each year, over one million tourists visit Congo, spending more than $500 million on travel alone. Natural resources such as cobalt, diamonds, copper ore, gold, iron ore, tin ore, uranium deposits, and other precious metals abound throughout the country. These resources have been used for many years, but due to corruption in previous regimes' governments, they have not been effectively developed. As a result, infrastructure funding and upkeep have been neglected, resulting in infrastructure that is now failing. These chances are being seized by a large number of investors. Investing extensively in the construction of new roads, trains, ports, and other infrastructure, resulting in increased economic growth.

Market Size of Congo

For any firm, the entire size of a market is critical. Knowing how big or tiny it is and where you fit into it, on the other hand, can help you spot business chances. With a population of 79 million people and a gross domestic product (GDP) per capita of $2,600 in 2015, Congo may appear to be a tiny market. Congo's GDP, on the other hand, has grown at an annual pace of 7% during the past decade.

Spending power in Congo

There is plenty of room for new enterprises to prosper in this country with a population of over 80 million people and a GDP of over $30 billion. Natural resources like as diamonds, gold, and oil abound throughout the country. This indicates that huge firms are interested in investing in or exploiting these resources. You might be able to collaborate with one of these businesses to attain your objectives. The main problem is that corruption is common, and negotiations can rapidly become convoluted.

Industrial growth of Congo

Cobalt, copper, diamonds, gold, silver, and zinc are among the minerals found in the DRC's mines. The country also contains significant petroleum reserves, however these assets are mainly unexplored. Forestry, farming, and fishing are additional key industries in Congo's economy. Gross domestic product (GDP) growth reached 7.5 percent in 2015, according to reports issued by the National Bank of Congo (BNC). In addition, the research predicted that 2016 would have a 6% growth rate. This is attributed to a rise in mining activity, which helped the economy grow by 4.7% in the first quarter of 2016. In comparison, growth of 2.8% was recorded during the same period previous year. This will be expanded upon. Government attempts to expand infrastructure, agriculture, and the services sector, notably banking services, have helped the economys

BICYCLE TUBES AND MOTORCYCLE TUBES - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities

Bicycle and motorcycle tubes are the backbone of the bicycle and motorcycle industries. Few numbers of companies in the organized sectors are engaged in the quality grade cycles tyres and tubes and few unorganized sector are also engaged in manufacturing bicycle tyre and tubes. An inner tube is basically a doughnut-shaped balloon, with a valve for inflation. The only requirement for an inner tube is that it should not leak. Being rubber, they have no rigid structure. If an inner tube is inflated outside of a tire, it will expand to 2 or 3 times its nominal size, if it doesn't explode first. Without being surrounded by a tire, an inner tube can't withstand any significant air pressure. Most of the basic raw materials are indigenously available but there is short supply of natural rubber and butyl rubber, it is required to import. Basic technology is also indigenously available in India. Plants and machineries are indigenously available. The market for tubes for bicycle and motorcycle is directly related to the demand for bicycle and motorcycle. Every bicycle and motorcycle manufactured will need a tube for its tire. So an analysis of bicycle and motorcycle production will provide a clear picture of demand for tubes. With a production of about 4.5 million vehicles in 2001-02 and over 8.5 million vehicles now, India is the second largest producer of 2-wheelers worldwide, which includes motorcycles, scooters and mopeds. There has been a steady growth in the demand for motorcycles in India. It has become a youth icon, particularly among the urban youth charged by speed and style which motorcycles impart to their personality. The motorcycles overtook scooters in 1998-99 and have not looked back. The scenario for 2006-07 conformed to the sustained performance in the recent past with sales at over 7 million, higher by over 16.5% on the preceding year's sales. In 2008-09 (first 8 months) sales at 2.85 million were higher by 14.5% than in the comparable period of 2007-08. The total market of motorcycles was estimated at Rs 220 billion in 2007-08, a decline of 5% over that of preceding year. The growing demand of 2/3 wheelers and bicycle will definitely give rise to high demand of tubes in the coming years. There is a good market potential and good scope for all new entrepreneurs to venture into this sector. Few Indian Major Players are as under: Atlas Cycles (Haryana) Ltd. Avon Cycles Ltd. E-WASTE RECYCLING PLANT - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue

Electronic waste, e-waste, e-scrap, or Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is a loose category of surplus, obsolete, broken, or discarded electrical or electronic devices. The processing of electronic waste in developing countries is causing serious health and pollution problems due to lack of containment, as do unprotected land filling (due to leaching) and incineration. The Basel Convention and regulation by the European Union and United States aim to reduce these problems. Reuse and recycling of this e-waste are promoted as alternatives to disposal as trash. There are several plants established for this particular purpose where large amount of electronic waste are recycled using the best technologies. A new trend in recycling is reuse of these waste contents. Apart from these new technologies; screening, reuse, granulating, refining, conditioning are also important processes in recycling. There is an estimate that the total obsolete computers originating from government offices, business houses, industries and household is of the order of 2 million. Manufactures and assemblers in a single calendar year, estimated to produce around 1200 tons of electronic scrap. It should be noted that obsolesce rate of personal computers (PC) is one in every two years. The consumers find it convenient to buy a new computer rather than upgrade the old one due to the changing configuration, technology and the attractive offers of the manufacturers. Due to the lack of governmental legislations on e-waste, standards for disposal, proper mechanism for handling these toxic hi-tech products, mostly end up in landfills or partly recycled in a unhygienic conditions and partly thrown into waste streams. Computer waste is generated from the individual households, government, both public and private sectors, computer retailers, manufacturers, foreign embassies, secondary markets of old PCs.etc. Of these, the biggest source of PC scrap is foreign countries that export huge computer waste in the form of reusable components. The scope for e-waste recycling project is very good. New entrepreneurs’ venturing into this field will be successful. Cost Estimation: Capacity : Monitor 10 Pcs. Per Day. DISPOSABLE PLASTIC SYRINGES WITH NEEDLES - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities

Disposable syringes are a great innovation in the field of medical equipment. They are used for intramuscular and intravenous injections and are disposed off immediately after usage. The major advantages of using plastic disposable syringes are that no infection is transmitted since the injection is disposed off immediately after use. The open end of the syringe may be fitted with a hypodermic needle, a nozzle, or tubing to help direct the flow into and out of the barrel or cylindrical tube. Disposable needles are becoming more popular in the medical world due to its lower cost and higher accuracy. Plastic can be used in place of metal without any problem. The procedure is also relatively easy and cheaper. Only one disadvantage is that there is not so much heat resistance as compared to hypodermic needle. Even then the disposable needle has widely replaced hypodermic needle because of lower cost, easy compatibility and higher sterilization. Disposable needle is widely used by doctors for injection purpose with the help of syringes. With the increase in population in our country, requirement of medicine and injections has increased. Plastic syringes are typically manufactured by a process called injection molding. The machines used are called injection molding machines. These machines inject liquefied plastic into a mold which is the shape of a syringe. When the plastic cools, it forms a syringe. For quick relief, needles are used by surgeons, dental surgeons, Veterinary Surgeons and by the breeders in the poultry farm, where the farm birds are periodically injected against epidemics. During epidemics, for better control, disposable needles are of much use. Veterinary Surgeons and doctors find it more useful to use needles. With the development of pharmaceutical industries the use of syringes and disposable needles will also develop. About 70% pharmaceutical industries are in small-scale sector. The output of small-scale sector covers a wide spectrum, anti T.B. drugs, antidysentery drugs, unit rhenemsties, haematirines, hormonal preparations, tranquilizers, analagesties and anti-Ryrities. According to McKinsey & Co. a leading industrial and management consulting organization, the Indian healthcare sector, including pharmaceutical, diagnostics and hospital services, is expected to more than double its revenues to Rs 2000 billion by 2010. Expenditure on healthcare services, including diagnostics, hospital occupancy and outpatient consulting, the largest component of this spend is expected to grow more than 125% to Rs 1560 billion by 2012 from Rs 690 billion now. DISPOSABLE PLASTIC SYRINGES - Manufacturing Plant, Detailed Project Report, Profile, Business Plan, Industry Trends, Market Research, Survey, Manufacturing Process, Machinery, Raw Materials, Feasibility Study, Investment Opportunities, Cost and Revenue

Disposable syringes are a great innovation in the field of medical equipment. They are used for intramuscular and intravenous injections and are disposed off immediately after usage. The major advantages of using disposable syringes are that no infection is transmitted since the injection is disposed off immediately after use. Long before in 1960’s glass syringes which were re-useable after sterilization were being replaced with disposable plastic syringes and single-use needles. With the replacement of traditional glass syringes by disposable syringes for convenience, safety, the demand for plastic disposable syringes is growing at very fast rate. The open end of the syringe may be fitted with a hypodermic needle, a nozzle, or tubing to help direct the flow into and out of the barrel or cylindrical tube. Disposable needle is widely used by doctors for injection purpose with the help of syringes. With the increase in population in our country, requirement of medicine and injections has increased. For more strength of people more number of needles is required with syringes. Tablets or capsules also play a great role in the life of human beings but injections are also a must to some extent. The disposable syringes market has now self-destructing or auto-disable (AD) syringe as a safe bet against re-use and spread of HIV, hepatitis and other infections. The national immunization policy has adopted the non-reusable, self-breaking syringes, though many States are yet to follow suit for the curative injections. Disposable surgical caps and mask are used considerably while performing an operation or undergoing surgical measures. Catheters are used for the purpose of passing urine for bed-ridden and emergency patients in hospitals, nursing homes etc. With the development of pharmaceutical industries the use of syringes and disposable needles will also develop. About 70% pharmaceutical industries are in small-scale sector. Disposable syringes are becoming more popular in the medical world due to its lower cost and higher accuracy. Plastic can be used in place of metal without any problem. The procedure is also relatively easy and cheaper. New comer can well venture into this field. There is a good scope in this sector.
