The Government of India (GOI) uses a variety of policy instruments in attempting to achieve these goals, including:

•        Domestic subsidies to inputs, outputs, transportation, storage, and consumption to reduce producer costs and consumer prices.

•        Border measures such as subsidies, tariffs, quotas, and non-tariff measures to protect domestic producers from import competition, manage domestic price levels, and guarantee domestic supply.

The National Policy on Agriculture seeks to actualise the vast untapped growth potential of Indian agriculture, strengthen rural infrastructure to support faster agricultural development, promote value addition, accelerate the growth of agro business, create employment in rural areas, secure a fair standard of living for the farmers and agricultural workers and their families, discourage migration to urban areas and face the challenges arising out of economic liberalization and globalisation. Over the next two decades, it aims to attain:

•        A growth rate in excess of 4 per cent per annum in the agriculture sector;

•        Growth that is based on efficient use of resources and conserves our soil, water and bio-diversity;

•        Growth with equity, i.e., growth which is widespread across regions and farmers;

•        Growth that is demand driven and caters to domestic markets and maximises benefits from exports of agricultural products in the face of the challenges arising from economic liberalization and globalisation;

•        Growth that is sustainable technologically, environmentally and economically.

The policy seeks to promote technically sound, economically viable, environmentally non-degrading, and socially acceptable use of country’s natural resources - land, water and genetic endowment to promote sustainable development of agriculture.

Green Business Ideas for Startup, Entrepreneurs

Green Business Ideas for Startup, Entrepreneurs. Profitable Manufacturing of Biodegradable Products. Earth Friendly Products Production. The non-biodegradable plastic products, which are commonly used in households, cannot be recycled for 400 years. Products like plastic carry bags, if disposed unscientifically, are hard to decompose and are a massive threat to soil cultivation. Biodegradable substances are those that degrades or break down naturally. Materials like plants, animals, their waste, paper, fruits, flowers, vegetables fall under biodegradable substances, on the other hand, rubber, plastic, chemicals, paint plastic falls under the category of the non-biodegradable items. Bio-Degradable Plates from Areca Nuts Tree Leaf Disposable party plates made from Areca leaf are an eco-friendly alternative to conventional disposable plates. These biodegradable areca leaf plates are a natural and renewable resource. Areca Leaf that are naturally discarded from the areca tree are collected from the forest floor and no trees are cut. Areca leaf plates are made from the naturally shed leaf sheaths of Areca Nut Tree. The areca leaves are simply collected, pressure washed, scrubbed, sun dried and then with the application of heat and pressure formed into appropriate shaped plates. The global market for foodservice disposables is anticipated to see a steady growth between 2017 and 2021. By the end of 2021, the global foodservice disposables market is estimated to bring in US$ 27,187 Million revenue. Increasing number of restaurants are using disposable plates, cups, trays, bowls, etc. to serve various food items. Majority of the restaurants have started providing catering services, hence the use of foodservice disposables have also increased. Manufacturers are also providing customized foodservice disposables as per the requirement of restaurants. Moreover, increasing number of customers have started using catering services provided by restaurants, especially during celebrations. Meanwhile, in the recent years, retail stores and hospitality industry have also started using foodservice disposables to provide various food products. Compostable disposables are a viable alternative that provides the convenience of disposable plates when used in catering for parties, picnics or other occasions along with an added advantage of no negative impact to the eco-system. However, the lack of awareness about the benefits of compostable tableware’s and the poor management of organic waste hampers the growth of compostable tableware market. Moreover, the rising enforcement of environmental laws and the growing need for better waste management is anticipated to create an opportunity for the growth of compostable tableware market. Bio plastic Carry Bags and Garbage Bags The process of extrusion then transformed these plastic beads into plastic bags. Trash bags are made from low-density polyethylene (LDPE), which is purported to be flexible, soft, airtight and waterproof. At times, to provide strength to the bags, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) is also used. The biodegradable plastic packaging market was valued at USD 3.97 billion in 2018, and is expected to reach a market value of USD 10.3 billion by 2024, registering a CAGR of 17.04%. The stringent regulations by various governments and federal agencies with an objective to reduce plastic waste and promote biodegradable plastics usage in packaging are boosting the demand of this market. The regulations related to green packaging is increasing. Various companies are required to adopt biodegradable packaging to comply with the standards, which in turn, is propelling the growth of this market. High costs (compared to normal plastic) are restraining the growth of the market, as biodegradable plastic is made from plants' starch and its decomposition needs specific conditions, like temperature, bacteria, humidity, etc. The increasing environmental concerns regarding plastic usage (as plastics contain toxic pollutants that harm plants, animals, and people) are driving the use of biodegradable plastic alternatives. Floating plastic waste that survives thousands of years in water can serve as a transportation device for invasive species that disrupt habitats. This aforementioned factor is contributing to the growth of the market. Eco-friendly initiatives by corporates and abundant availability of raw materials for manufacturing bio plastics are prominent factors driving growth in Asia Pacific bio plastics market. Europe and North America are expected to dominate the overall market of biodegradable packaging. North America is expected to be the largest consumer of the biodegradable packaging market. The developed regions are expected to dominate the overall biodegradable packaging market owing to the presence of mature markets that consist of highly environmental conscious consumers. In addition, the presence of high-spending population is also expected to increase the overall demand for biodegradable packaging in the developed regions. Cereals, Cashew nuts, Ground nuts, Pea nuts, Cotton, Palm Kernels, Gum Arabic, Coffee beans, Cocoa beans, Rice, Paddy, Wheat, Maize, Copra, Lentils, Sugar, Cement, Fertilizers etc. Jute Gunny Bags are extensively used for carrying bulk material such as pulses, grains, etc. from one place to another. Jute Gunny Bags are used to store large anoints of weights in them. These bags are suitable to be used in commercial and industrial places for transporting wheat, rice and other grains. India is the largest producer of raw jute and the second largest exporter of jute and jute based goods in the world, next only to Bangladesh. India, Bangladesh, China, Myanmar, Nepal and Thailand are at present the major producers of Jute, Kenaf and Roselle fibers. India, Bangladesh and China are the large producers. Jute is a natural fiber popularly known as the golden fiber. The global jute bag market reached a value of US$ 1.8 Billion in 2018, exhibiting a CAGR of around 11.5% during 2011-2018. The global jute bag industry is currently at a nascent stage with encouraging growth aspects. The demand for jute bags has witnessed a surge over the past few years, particularly in the European Union. This can be attributed to the growing environment consciousness in the region. With the increase of population and civilization, the demand for the jute bag is also increasing; awareness about the environment is also the reason for jute bag demand. The government has already taken steps toward the eco-friendly product, and as result, they ban the use of plastic bag therefore the jute bags are the best replacement for plastic bags. Production of Bio-Plastic Film Using Biodegradable Resin, PLA (Polylactic Acid) Polylactic Acid (PLA), is a biodegradable thermoplastic and aliphatic polyester, derived from renewable and organic resources such as corn starch and sugarcane. Our manufacturing facilities can provide simple cut-to-size or complex CNC manufacturing, and crating for multiwall and twin wall sheet. Polylactic acid or polylactide (PLA) is a thermoplastic aliphatic polyester derived from renewable resources. PLA had the second highest consumption volume of any bio plastic of the world, Although Bio plastic is a biodegradable material that come from renewable sources and can be used to reduce the problem of plastic waste that is suffocating the planet and polluting the environment. These are 100% degradable, equally resistant and versatile, already used in agriculture, textile industry, medicine and, over all, in the container and packaging market, and biopolymers are already becoming popular in cities throughout Europe and the United States. With increasing concerns over the use of plastics, sustainable alternatives to plastics are increasingly in demand. Biopolymers in general and bio plastics in particular, present one such sustainable alternative. The global biodegradable plastics market is expected to reach 16.8 billion by 2022 with CAGR 8.4% to 2016-2022. Rising consumer awareness about global warming and government legislation such as banned on plastic bags will increase the demand for biodegradable plastics across the globe. Plastics that decompose to carbon dioxide and water under the actions of microorganisms is known as biodegradable plastics. Biodegradable plastics are produced by fermentation of sugar or canola oil to produce polylactic acid (PLA) or polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) which in turn converted into biodegradable plastics. A sustainable alternative to traditional plastics, bio plastics are plastics that are fully or partially bio based, and biodegradable or compostable. In other words, they are plastics that are made from renewable resources such as corn, tapioca, potatoes, sugar and algae and breaks down faster than traditional plastics, which are typically made from petroleum, and other fossil resources such as natural gas. Bio plastics have numerous applications like packaging, bottles, utensils, furniture etc. Paper Cups A paper cup is a disposable made out of paper and after lined with plastic or wax prevent liquid from leakage out or soaking by paper. Paper cups are made from renewable resources. The cups should be made from food grade paper which is hygienic in nature. Paper-based cups are usually lined with a membrane of polyethylene (plastic) to make them waterproof, but it means they are not recyclable alongside paper or cardboard, or biodegradable. As for the cups that are labelled biodegradable, Tim Silver wood says, Biodegradable cups don't compost in normal compost. Global disposable cups market is expected to flourish at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.1% over the forecast period 2017-2024. Global disposable cups market stood at a valuation of near about USD 12.1 Billion in 2016.Further, global disposable cups market is projected to reach at a valuation about USD 20.5 Billion by the end of 2024 owing to the factors such as population growth and emergence of new food & beverages industries. There are generally two types of paper cups hot and cold. Cold cups have a waxy coating on both the sides to prevent the paper from becoming wet due to absorption of liquid. On the other hand, hot cups are designed specifically to withstand the heat and are coated only on one side. There are several factors that are driving the demand for paper cups across the globe. Growing awareness about transfer of diseases and germs while sharing the same containers or mugs has motivated people to opt for paper cups. Moreover, they are convenient to use and are environment friendly due to their higher biodegradability compared to plastic or foam cups. The growing foodservice industry is another major factor that is thrusting the growth of this market globally. Bamboo Furniture Milled sanded and finished bamboo furniture rivals any hardwood furniture in durability and beauty. Add to the fact bamboo is one of the world's most environmentally-friendly resources to raise, harvest and use, and it's clear why bamboo has become one of the hottest furniture building materials on the market. Bamboo is a super sustainable material. It grows fast, is durable, and is easy to work with. It's an extremely versatile material, one that can be purposed into flooring as well as modern furniture. Bamboo is also gaining an increasing traction in terms of application in the commercial sector such as hotels, offices and recreational areas. Business Idea of Double Edge Razor Blade Manufacturing.

Business Idea of Double Edge Razor Blade Manufacturing. Production of Double Edge Razor Blade. Men's Grooming Products Industry. Double-edged razors are also known as DE or safety razors. Today's cartridge razors are actually an evolution of safety razors but most avid shavers (men who find satisfaction in shaving) will make the terms mutually exclusive to distinguish between the two. Hence the moniker safety razor. Safety razors were popularized in the 1900s by King Camp Gillette's invention, the double-edge safety razor. While other safety razors of the time used blades that required stropping before use and after a time had to be honed by a cutler, Gillette's razor used a disposable blade with two sharpened edges. Shaving with a safety razor reduces skin irritation, shave bumps and ingrown hairs that are common with cartridge or electric razors. The main reason is that with a safety razor you only have one blade against your skin at any time. A safety razor is a shaving implement with a protective device positioned between the edge of the blade and the skin. The initial purpose of these protective devices was to reduce the level of skill needed for injury-free shaving, thereby reducing the reliance on professional barbers. Double Edge Razors are a very popular razor for wet shaving and have been for a very long time. Even though straight razors provide a closer shave, the safety feature of double edged razors have made it way more popular than the straight razor. It might have something to do with people not wanting to worry about slicing their neck every time they shave. Cartridge razors may not shave as close as the other two but they do have their advantages such as their ease of use and the ability to shave faster without worrying if you will cut yourself. Apart from that safety razors offer a cleaner closer shave and are cheaper to maintain than cartridge type razors. There are different double edge razor designs that may be confusing at first for beginners so this article will attempt to explain these differences and offer insight into the world of the double edged razors so you could make an informed purchasing decision. Grooming helps an individual to uplift his social image and make a positive impression in a social setting. The act of personal grooming generally includes maintaining and cleaning several parts of the body. These products by definition are used for staying clean and making the outer appearance more attractive. Till the last few decades, male grooming products were primarily limited to shaving creams, deodorants, after shave colognes and shampoos. In recent times, however, several male grooming products have been designed and developed which include moisturizers, facial creams, bronzers, concealers, serums, face masks as well as a number of anti-ageing products. Uses A razor is a bladed tool primarily used in the removal of unwanted body hair through the act of shaving. Kinds of razors include straight razors, disposable razors, and electric razors. While the razor has been in existence since before the Bronze Age (the oldest razor-like object has been dated to 18,000 BC. the most common types of razors in current usage are the safety razor and the electric razor, though other kinds are still in use. Market Outlook A razor blade is a blade used in a razor typically a flat piece of metal with a sharp edge or edges used in a safety razor which is used to remove unwanted hair from the face or body. Production of Glacial Acetic Acid. Investment Opportunities in Chemical Industry.

Production of Glacial Acetic Acid. Investment Opportunities in Chemical Industry. Glacial acetic acid is the anhydrous (undiluted or free of water) form of acetic acid. Acetic acid is considered an organic compound and has the chemical formula CH3COOH. A diluted solution of acetic acid is known as vinegar or ethnic acid or ethylic acid. The common name for ethanoic acid is acetic acid. A solution of 4 percent or more acetic acid and water is called 'vinegar.' The formula for acetic acid is CH3COOH. Acetic acid that contains a very low amount of water (less than 1%) is called anhydrous (water-free) acetic acid or glacial acetic acid. The reason it's called glacial is because it solidifies into solid acetic acid crystals just cooler than room temperature at 16.7 °C, which ice. Glacial acetic acid is an excellent polar solvent. It is frequently used as a solvent for recrystallization to purify organic compounds. Glacial acetic acid is used in analytical chemistry for the estimation of weakly alkaline substance Acetic acid has been used for centuries in food production, manufacturing, cleaning, and even medical purposes. Generally, undiluted glacial acetic acid has no medical use, but a review of the literature reveals that acetic acid in diluted concentrations has been used for a variety of indications. Pure water-free acetic acid is called glacial acetic acid. It is a colorless liquid that absorbs water from the environment and freezes at 16.7 °C to a colorless crystalline solid. It is a weak acid and is known as Glacial because on freezing it forms needle shape crystals .It is a clear colorless liquid with a pungent odor. It is obtained by the destructive distillation of wood by oxidation of acetylene and water by air or by the oxidation of ethyl alcohol by aerobic bacteria as in the production of vinegar. Glacial acetic acid is strongly corrosive and potentially flammable having a low flash point. Home vinegar is five percent by mass acetic acid. Dilute acetic acid in the form of vinegar has many home and culinary purposes. Uses ? The main use of glacial acetic acid in cooking is in form of vinegar. ? It is generally used in cooking, making salads, and pickling and canning. ? Marinating meat in dilute acetic acid kills bacteria and tenderizes the meat. ? Soak wilted vegetables in a mixture of two cups of water and a tablespoon of acetic acid to freshen them up. ? To make cheese last longer, store it in an acid soaked cloth. ? To prevent eggs from cracking when you boil them just add two tablespoons of glacial acetic acid to the water before boiling it. This will also help you to peel off the egg shells faster and easier. Red Oxide Primer from Mill Scale Red oxide primer is a specially formulated coating used as a base coat for ferrous metals. Red-oxide primer serves a similar purpose to interior wall primers in that it prepares metal for a topcoat, but it also gives iron and steel surfaces a layer of protection. A primer is composed of Red Oxide, solvents, resins, and various additives. The pigments give the primer color solvents make it easier to apply resins help it dry and additives serve as everything from fillers to anti-fungicidal agents. Red Oxide Primer is an oil modified alkyd based primer suitably pigmented with micro fine red oxide and extenders. It is ideal for ferrous metal surfaces. It is free from heavy metals like lead mercury and chromium. Primers create a flat-sheen surface that new paint can bond easily to. Primers are an intermediary coat between an unfinished or previously painted surface and new paint. Most primers are similar to paints in that they contain mostly fillers and pigments. They will create a coarse, flat surface for new paint to adhere to, but do not have enough binders or resins to truly fill out the difference in texture between the joint compound and the drywall paper meaning that even if you use a primer you may still see an uneven finish in your paint. One advantage of primer is that many are able to be tinted which is especially helpful when painting dark colors. A dark tinted primer will mean fewer coats of finish paint to achieve the deep color desired. The Indian paint industry has been growing at an average 15% per annum over the last decade. Growth has been consistent with the Indian GDP growth rate and in some years the industry has grown at a rate of 1.5 to 2 times higher than that of GDP growth. This facilitates the development of new technologies and ensures a high quality product. The India paints & coatings market is estimated to register a growth rate of 7.10% during the forecast period (2018-2023). The coatings industry is one of the most heavily regulated industries in the world, so producers have been forced to adopt low-solvent and solvent less technologies in the past 40 years and will continue to do so. The number of coatings producers is large. Most of the large multinationals have expanded operations in fast-growing areas like China. The most noteworthy trend has been consolidation, especially among the largest producers. After a decade of steady growth production in Asia accounts for 50–55% of the total. Production and consumption are nearly identical in each country as trade is limited to relatively small quantities of high-value product. Generally coatings grow in tandem with the economy so growth will continue to focus on the developing world. In emerging countries coatings are growing at a much faster rate. The best prospects for growth are in China (6–7% average annual growth in the near future), India (6.6%), Iran (4–5%), Poland (4%), and Saudi Arabia (3–4%). Total global growth should be about 4% per year. On a value basis it is likely that growth will be even higher as a result of increased production of relatively higher-valued coatings. Roller Flour Mill with Packaging (Automatic Plant) Around 800 large Flour Mills in the country convert about 10.5 Million Tons of wheat into wheat products Coarse Flour, Flour, Semolina, and Bran & Wheat Germ. The installed capacity of Flour Mills is more than 21 Million Metric Tons. Roller Flour Milling sector processes around 12 – 15 per cent of the total wheat consumed in the country. Most wheat is consumed in the form of baked goods mainly bread therefore wheat grains must be milled to produce flour prior to consumption. Wheat is also used as an ingredient in compound feedstuffs starch production and as a feed stock in ethanol production. The aim of the miller is to extract the maximum proportion of flour from the grain with the least possible contamination by bran, pollard and germ, the first two because they discolor the flour and the last because it reduces the keeping quality. Flour comprises a mixture of fine granules of starch and protein. Invest in a Roller flour milling in India being an agriculture economy, with growing population would always have a great opportunity in food. No industry could really match its growth and profitability potential. The world over food has been one of the most profitable industries and most of global food giants that have emerged have fundamentally been wheat millers. The most profitable and largest companies in the world are also food companies like Nestle, Kraft General Food, and Cargill etc. The market size of packaged wheat flour will touch Rs 15,500 crore mark by 2020, double of its current market size of Rs 7,500 crore. The packaged wheat flour market in India is growing at a Compound Annual Growth Rate of almost 19 per cent since past three years. Sodium and Ammonium Molybdate It is used in industry for corrosion inhibition as it is a non-oxidizing anodic inhibitor. The addition of sodium moly date significantly reduces the nitrite requirement of fluids inhibited with nitrite-amine and improves the corrosion protection of carboxylate salt fluids. Ammonium molybdate is used in various sectors to decorate ceramics, in chemical analysis to find the presence of phosphates, arsenics, lead. In the chemical industry as a source of molybdenum ions Ammonium heptamolybdate is the inorganic compound whose chemical formula is (NH4)6Mo7O24, normally encountered as the tetra hydrate. A dehydrate is also known. It is a colorless solid, often referred to as ammonium paramolybdate or simply as ammonium moly date, although ammonium moly date can also refer to ammonium orthomolybdate (NH4)2MoO4 and several other compounds. It is one of the more common molybdenum compounds Increasing urbanization leading to decreased availability of arable land and increasing demand for yield and productivity improvement has led to significant developments in fertilizers. New and advanced formulations of fertilizers incorporating sodium moly date are available in the market to address yield and productivity concerns. Apart from nutritional supplement food and beverage industry utilizes sodium molybdate as ingredient in other formulations and preservatives. The global Sodium Molybdate market was million US$ in 2018 and is expected to million US$ by the end of 2025 growing at a CAGR of between 2019 and 2025. The Ammonium Heptamolybdate market has witnessed an unprecedented growth till 2019. The extrapolated future growth is expected to continue at higher rates by 2025. Beer Plant Beer is quite common and popular in almost every Country of the World. Phosphate Rich Organic Manure (PROM) Phosphate rich organic manure is a type of fertilizer used as an alternative to di ammonium phosphate and single super phosphate Phosphorus is required by all plants but is limited in soil, creating a problem in agriculture. In many areas phosphorus must be added to soil for the extensive plant growth that is desired for crop production. The solubility depends upon PH of the soil, ambient condition and bacteria present in the soil. Phosphate Rich Organic Manure is produced by co-composting high-grade (32% P2O5 +/- 2%) rock phosphate in very fine size (say 80% finer than 54 microns). Phosphate Rich Organic Manure (PROM) is a value added product produced by co-compositing high-grade rock phosphate in fine size with organic matter collected from various sources such as FYM straw of paddy or wheat, pressmud, karanj cake or waste from fruit industries and distillery etc. Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria (PSB) and nitrogen fixing bacteria are added to improve the efficiency. Production of phosphorus rich organic manure (PROM) by composting of press mud and distillery waste with rock phosphate into a value added product standardized to contain 18% P2O5 with 22% moisture is a highly promising, natural, better and cheaper substitute of di-ammonium phosphate (DAP). The agronomic evaluation of PROM on paddy crop resulted in an enhancement of 29.41% yield over the DAP. The global organic fertilizers market is projected to witness healthy growth at a CAGR of 7% reaching more than USD8.25 billion through 2023. The changing perception of farmers and end users towards environment friendly farming methods is driving the demand for organic fertilizers worldwide. Production of Urea Formaldehyde UF85

Production of Urea Formaldehyde UF85. Start Own Industry of Urea Formaldehyde. UFC-85 is a viscous liquid containing 60% formaldehyde, 25% urea and balance water. Formaldehyde is first produced by the reaction of methanol with air. This is then absorbed in urea solution to form UFC-85. Urea formaldehyde is the very common chemical and is mostly used because of its chemical properties. Examples are textiles, paper, foundry sand molds, wrinkle resistant fabrics, cotton blends, rayon, corduroy, etc. also used to glue wood together. Urea-formaldehyde (UF), also known as urea-methanal, so named for its common synthesis pathway and overall structure, is a non-transparent thermosetting resin or polymer. It is produced from urea and formaldehyde. Urea–formaldehyde (UF) resins are the most important type of thermosetting polymers and consist of linear or branched oligomers as well as polymers with some amounts of monomers. They are formed as a sequence of the following reactions of urea and formaldehyde. Urea-formaldehyde concentrate is a clear, viscous liquid consisting of formaldehyde, urea, and a small amount of water. It provides the highest concentration of urea formaldehyde commercially available in an easy-to-use form in several industries. It is an intermediate chemical used for many other derivatives based on Urea Formaldehyde solution. It is also known as TMU (Tetra Methylol Urea) and Form urea. Its long strong time, high solid content, proper fluidity, low water content and clearness, makes it an excellent intermediate compound for chemical/industrial purposes. Urea-formaldehyde (UF) resin, one of the most important formaldehyde resin adhesives is a polymeric condensation product of formaldehyde with urea, and being widely used for the manufacture of wood-based composite panels, such as plywood, particleboard, and fiberboard. In spite of its benefits such as fast curing, good performance in the panels (colorless), and lower cost; formaldehyde emission (FE) originated from either UF resin itself or composite products bonded by UF resins is considered a critical drawback as it affects human health particularly in indoor environment. Uses ? Conditioner/anticaking agent for urea fertilizer ? Urea formaldehyde liquid resins ? UF powdered resins ? UF molding compound materials ? Permanent press resins for Textiles ?
