| Transformer is a machine that transfers electrical energy from one electrical circuit to another without changing frequency by the principle of electromagnetic induction. Since its basic construction requires no moving parts so it is often called the static transformer and it is very rugged machine requiring the minimum amount of repair and maintenance.
