Worldwide, there are 1380 lubricant manufacturers ranging from large to small. At present, there are about 180 such national and multinational oil companies engaged in manufacturing lubricants. The 1200 independent lubricant companies mainly concentrate on the manufacturing and marketing of lubricants and view lubricants as their core business. On one hand there are vertically-integrated petroleum companies whose main business objective is the discovery, extraction and refining of crude oil. . While the large, integrated companies focus on high-volume lubricants such as engine, gear and hydraulic oils, many independent lube companies concentrate on specialties and niche business, where apart from some tailor-made lubricants, comprehensive and expert customer service is part of the package. Central and Eastern Europe account for the majority of worldwide grease usage.

Dehydration of Chillies, Onion and Vegetables

India is a prominent exporter of dried and preserved vegetables to the world.  The world production of chilli crop sums up to around 7 million tons that is cultivated on approximately 1.5 million hectares of land. India is the world leader in context of chilli production followed by China and Pakistan. Owing to rich horticultural potential that exists in the country, the fruit and vegetable processing industry can play an important role in salvaging the wastage by utilizing small and sub-grade fruits, help in stabilization of prices during the glut season, afford employment opportunity (as this industry is labour intensive), meet the requirements of defense forces in border areas, and last but not the least earn foreign exchange for the country. The present concentration of the processing units is near the concentrated centers of producing areas and near the consuming centers which are a major base for domestic market, or near the export areas/port towns, such units being, by and large export oriented. The food processing industry has been slated for accelerated growth. It is projected to be a futuristic industry and it is anticipated that, over the years, it will emerge as a leading player in the global markets. As a result, the industry is seen to be witnessing feverish activity.

Flavoured Drinking Water

Flavoured water is a beverage consisting of water with added natural or artificial flavours, herbs, and sweeteners, and is usually lower in calories than non-diet soft drinks. In many cases, flavoured waters add vitamins and minerals to their beverages through the incorporation of fruits in order to better market their products.Water is tasteless. Consumers are also more aware of the importance of water consumption as part of a healthy life-style. Keeping the body well hydrated boosts energy levels, helps flush toxins from the system, and helps keep the skin looking more youthful. Water, as opposed to traditional carbonated drinks, juices, coffee etc is calorie free and has no negative attributes. Flavoured waters offer all the benefits of pure water but with the added plus of tasting good, and with so many interesting and exciting flavour profiles available. Flavoured waters are good in taste, very low in calories and are an obvious choice for the health conscious consumer.

World demand for paper and paperboard is forecast to grow by 2.1% annually in the long term. The demand for paper products is rising in some of the APAC countries, mainly for grade paper packaging and corrugated paper products. Also, paper packaging has increased the consumption of paper to a higher level. China is the leading producer of paper in the world. Demand growth prospects will vary considerably between regions with a fairly modest outlook for North America, Western Europe and Japan, while there is significant growth potential for Asia and Eastern Europe—India, China and Russia in particular. With the emergence of the multipolar world, where competition can come literally from anywhere around the globe, investors in all industries will need to keep a sharp focus on the challenges and vast opportunities that come with the new patterns of consumption, innovation, and capital and resource availability. Established players in North America and Western Europe will share the market not only with up-and-comers in China and India, but also with competitors in Mexico, Brazil, Russia, South Korea and other emerging areas.

Dehydrated Onion (100% EOU)

In India dehydration of many food products especially vegetables and some fruits are in practices at home and industry level throughout year. these dehydrated products are the largest export products for international markets & international clients who desire for quality products. These products are 100% export oriented to countries like  UK, Canada, Germany, Poland, Finland, Denmark, Australia, Spain, Italy, Greece, UAE, France, Belgium, Netherlands, South Africa, Latvia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Philippines, Korea, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Israel, South Africa, Russia, East European countries and many more. Thus export potential of onion is quite high and already a large number of dehydration plants in operation in many parts of the country. Drying of onion flakes has the potential to not only reduce the storage losses but it also helps in stabilizing the price. The food processing industry has been slated for accelerated growth. It is projected to be a futuristic industry and it is anticipated that, over the years, it will emerge as a leading player in the global markets. As a result, the industry is seen to be witnessing feverish activity.

Soya Protein

Soy protein is a protein that is isolated from soybean. It is made from soybean meal that has been dehulled and defatted.  Soy protein is generally regarded as the storage protein held in discrete particles called protein bodies, which are estimated to contain at least 60–70% of the total soybean protein. The health benefits of soy protein powders are coming from the soy protein and the associated isoflavones. The soy protein has a high biological value and contains all essential amino acids. Soy isoflavones have been recognized for many health benefits, including lowering the risk of heart disease, breast cancer, prostate cancer and osteoporosis. Soy isoflavones act as anti-cancer agents because they are antioxidant, inhibit the growth of blood vessels required to feed tumours and inhibit the protein production in cancer cells. Soy isoflavones are also beneficial for menopausal women because they may ease menopausal symptoms and help to maintain strong bones.

Disposable Plastic Syringes

Needles and syringes are amongst the most extensively used medical disposables. Healthcare professionals represent the largest end-use market for syringes, followed by diabetics. A substantial rise in the number of drug addicts has also contributed to the enhanced demand for syringes across the world. Rising life expectancies and growing proportion of the elderly have led to increased demand for healthcare services, and greater need for drugs to be injected. Additionally, a number of newly introduced drugs including DNA based drugs are not available in the form of pills and must be administered intravenously, thereby enhancing the demand for disposable syringes. Worldwide market for syringes is driven by an aging population and related rise in healthcare demand. Other factors influencing growth include increasing popularity of pre-filled syringes, rising incidence of diabetes, and growing awareness of AIDS and other infectious diseases. The growth in domestic demand may be conservatively expected to be 25% per annum, assuming constant export of 100 million syringes /year. There are many manufacturer of disposable syringes in the country, out of which about 5-6 units are under small-scale sector. The total installed capacity is to be about 400 million and actual production is about 350 million.

Silica from Rice Husk

Precipitated Silica is used as filler for paper & rubber as a carrier & diluents for agricultural chemicals, as an anti caking agent, to control viscosity & thickness and as molecular sieves.

Precipitated silica accounts for the largest share of specialty silica demand in both volume and value terms. This silica type will also constitute the fastest-growing segment of the market, aided by above-average gains in its primary market, tire rubber. Increasing use of precipitated silica as a replacement for carbon black in tire reinforcement applications in the U.S. will offer significant opportunities for growth. Fumed silica represents the second largest product type in value terms, owing to its higher price relative to other silica types.

E–WASTE RECYCLING

Electronic Waste, E-Waste, E-scrap, or Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (weee)

WEEE has been identified as one of the fastest growing sources of waste in the India, and is estimated to be increasing by 16-28 per cent every five years. Within each sector a complex set of heterogeneous secondary wastes is created. Although treatment requirements are complicated, the sources from any one sector possess many common characteristics. However, there exist huge variations in the nature of electronic wastes between sectors, and treatment regimes appropriate for one cannot be readily transferred to another.  Almost 50% of the PC's sold in India are products from the secondary market and are re-assembled on old components. The remaining market share is covered by multinational manufacturers (30%) and Indian brands (22%).  The WEEE Directive is impacting companies and authorities in two ways. Firstly, it applies constraints on how they operate in terms of provision and disposal of equipment, thereby increasing direct costs. The longer term benefits in reduction of environmental impact, and hence cost, should not be ignored, however. Secondly, the need to establish widespread recovery methodologies will provide the opportunity to enhance and to build business operations that generate profit from recycling of WEEE.

Glycerol Monostearate (NSE/SE Grade)

Glycerol monostearate (GMS) is a type of compound that does not have any color or odor. This organic compound does have a slightly sweet taste, which is why glycerol monostearate is frequently added to food products. In many instances, this substance can be found naturally in foods that are high in fat including vegetable and animal sources. As one of the compounds that is found within the human body, glycerol monostearate is deemed safe for human consumption. The commercial source may be either animal or vegetable fats, and synthetically produced as well.It is hard, waxy mass or unctuous powder or flakes, white or almost white. Practically, insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol (96%) at 60°C. Glyco products offers glyceryl mono-stearate in two grades, indicated by the trade names Aldo 28 and Aldo 33. The former is a readily water-dispersible grade and the latter a neutral grade. Both grades are white and are supplied in bead form. Specific gravity is 0.97 and melting point 57-61°C.

CLC Blocks (Cellular light weight concrete Blocks)

with Steam Curing Method

The excellent engineering property and durability of CLC blocks enlarges its scope for application in building construction and development of infrastructure, construction of green buildings, and low-cost houses. The Government of India has supported this effort of improving the environment through conversion of waste into useful building products, by providing some import concession. This has enabled even normal walling masonry using these cellular lightweight concrete blocks, to complete favourably with conventional clay brick alternative. The biggest challenge in the growth of CLC is the lack of knowledge of its advantages and users need to be educated about the benefits of the product. In areas with high demand of burnt clay bricks, CLC bricks compete favourably as an alternate material. These are very useful building products that reduce dead weight of structures and accelerate the pace of construction when used as pre-cast elements for walling and flooring.
