Maharashtra has developed one of India’s most dynamic startup and MSME ecosystems through targeted government schemes, startup policies, and innovation-driven support. The Maharashtra State Startup Policy 2023 provides financial assistance, mentorship, and market linkage support to early-stage startups, while Startup India and PM Mudra Yojana improve access to funding and entrepreneurship opportunities. MSMEs benefit from MIDC plug-and-play infrastructure, CGTMSE collateral-free credit, technology upgrade incentives, and quality certification support.
