YEIDA to Provide 100 Acre Land to E-rickshaw Manufacturing Units.

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) in Uttar Pradesh has decided to grant at least 50 e-rickshaw manufacturers with 100 acres of land. This will provide the state’s industrial development programmes another boost.

Electric Vehicle City (EVC) will be built in Sector 28, just 4 kilometres from Greater Noida’s future Jewar Airport. Officials have inquired about the manufacturers and the amount of land that each would require.

 

 

The Indian electric rickshaw market was worth $786.2 million in 2019 and is predicted to grow at a CAGR of 33.3 percent to $1,394.2 million by 2025, with a forecast period of 2020–2025.
