Agricultural waste is waste produced at agricultural premises as a result of an agricultural activity. This definition does not include waste produced at sites such as riding stables, equine centres, farm shops, kennels and animal parks.  Agro processing can be defined as set of techno economic activities carried out for preservation and treatment of agricultural produce and to make it useful as food, feed, fibre, fuel or manufacturing objects . The ever-growing supplies of agricultural produce, needed by industry and trade, have been provided either by taking up new land or by the purchase of artificial manures.
